When Nuno Espirito Santo defeated Man City he was roundly applauded. He has just done the impossible, scoring against a miserly City defense and stopping the ridiculously talented City attack from scoring. We all agreed he may just be the man to move Spurs forward. Three games and three wins into the season he set tongues wagging by winning all without conceding a goal. Those who didn't watched those games but saw the scoreline started tipping Tottenham for big things. Those who watched knew Spurs were just lucky. They were outplayed in all three games but managed to nick a goal without conceding. In football their is only an amount of luck one can enjoy before everything unravels. Well, it quickly unravelled for Nuno and now he is back to being jobless. I wish him well in his future endeavours but I've learnt that in most cases, the past rarely count now. The present result is of paramount importance.
