For a long period of time I assumed Pep Guardiola hated black players when he replaced Yaya Toure with a scrawny looking and a relatively unknown Sergio Busquets. Well, Busquets redefined the defensive midfield role and is the best DMF of the last decade. Guardiola has this way of making his players do extremely hard things in very simplified mode. That's why someone like Ederson rarely gets the credit he deserves. If most people are to list top 5 goalkeepers in EPL Ederson won't be in majority of the list yet very few goalkeepers out there are better. As he bids for a 100th clean sheet in his 210th appearance for Man City, I hope by the time he retires we will fondly remember him as one of those dudes out there who changed the landscape of goalkeeping for good.
