The life of a footballer is really a tough one. We go to stadiums to watch them every week, expecting perfection from them. Only the very few who are privileged to work directly with them knows that a lot of them do have very terrible periods in their lives. I was surprised when I saw an unlikely face playing for Chelsea against Arsenal - Zappacosta. What? I've not seen this guy play for a while. I'm very sure he would've probably forgotten the route to Chelsea's base in London. And yet, here he is turning out for a club he know he won't play for this season. Since he joined Chelsea he has been loaned twice to two different cities. Yet he resumes every season not knowing his next destination. Every year his personal life depends on the decision made by other people. All we see is the glamour, the flashy cars, the huge salaries. No one sees the amount of time they spend away from their wives and kids, alone in difficult environments with strange cultures and languages.
