Italy vs Spain And then they were four! The Euro2020 journey started with 24 teams on June 11. We are getting close to the end of a thoroughly entertaining tournament. About today's semi final between Italy and Spain, I am a little bit sceptical. Italy have been utterly efficient, dispatching teams while defending doggedly. For all the noise about Ciro Immobile's goal scoring exploits, it's the little guy, Insigne, who has given them the X-factor, the unpredictability and incisiveness. Spain? They've been everything; interesting, dull, explosive, wasteful, clinical, terrible, fantastic, and more. They are super unpredictable; creating chances, wasting most of them, scoring goals at will and giving their opponents lot of chances to score too. They are the neutral viewers dream. They bring chaos, catastrophe and excitement all at once. Will the stupendously drilled, well organized and highly effective Italians puncture the very big bubble of this Spanish team? Well, I have no answer to that. One thing I know is both teams are well ahead of their development. They've both risen from the ashes of delirium and confusion to this level! I'll be going for an Italy win. I expect them to punish the ton of chances this Spanish team dashes out. I expect their effectiveness to nullify the Spanish's. But when organization meets chaos, the result is anyone's guess.
