At some point two seasons ago I was expecting to wake up to the news of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer getting sacked. He somehow escaped. Last season I couldn't hold it anymore; I joined the #OleOut gang on Twitter. Yet he pulled off another great escape. Today he signed another contract and I'm left asking myself if he's the man to lead United back to glory days. Moyes (the long termer) was tried but failed woefully. Van Gaal ( the master tactician) was tried for two years; he failed. Mourinho (the boss) failed again and again. In comes Ole, the loved legend with little top level managerial experience. He swept us off our feet with counter attacking football that led to serious unbeaten run. In comes the contract and out goes the mesmerizing wins. The team has taken two steps forward and one step backwards ever since. Having lost four semi finals and one final in the last two seasons, I hope Ole will lead Man United back to the glory days sooner rather than later. He is the only choice left now.
