My friend said to me, success isn't about what you accomplish in life. It is about what you inspire others to do. My response to him was direct. I said, dude, what you accomplish in life is what will inspire others. There are 1001 footballers in the world. We only know and talk about the very few that made it to the top. John Terry shagged his friend's ex-wife; yet he's a football legend. Michael Jackson had lots of demons he contended with; yet he's a pop legend. They are legends because of what they accomplished in life. We talk about them because of their achievements. Their personal lives doesn't inspire us, but their achievements do. So, if you want to inspire someone, go and achieve something important. Or else you won't inspire anybody, not even your kids!
