I sincerely don't know what's going on in the minds of Ceferin and his cohorts when they created this very absurd competition termed as Europa Conference League. Europe is still trying to understand the Nations League and now they're shoving Europa Conference League down our throats. Europe is the only continent with two national tournaments: Euros and Nations League. The Europa League is already a burden for the big teams. Adding some Europa Conference League to the mix only made it more annoying. I'm sure Daniel Levy will be very unhappy at the amount of resources he has to expend all in the name of playing in a third grade European competition. Why the idea of a third tournament wasn't rejected still baffles me. If they want more involvement they can increase the number of participants in the Champions League and Europa League. As much as we hated our club owners for agreeing to some crazy Super League, they won't bring up the idea of a super league in the first place if they believed Ceferin and his boys are making the right decisions. First, the Nations League. And now, the Europa Conference League. I'm yet to fully understand my way around the Nations League. I won't even bother trying to understand the nonsensical Europa Conference League.
