Like I once said, I'm not the type that read meanings to pre-season results. When Rangers scored a surprising 2-1 win against Real Madrid I was quick to dismiss it. Madrid used a couple of fringe players who are just returning from boisterous holidays. Well, Rangers just battered Livingston 3 - 0 to begin their title defense. With Ange Postecouglou and Celtic still finding their range after the Champions League elimination I don't see them toppling Rangers this season. If Celtic smuggles into the Europa League they will have to face the dreaded Thursday - Sunday match combination. That drains more than energy, it drains confidence too. Although its way too early to affirm, I think Rangers will be winning the Scottish League this season yet again. If they spend their Champions League earnings wisely, they may dominate the league for a couple more years.
