@Mayiee more from that month

Our ballot is stronger than any Bullet Today is D-Day were Filipinos cast their vote to choose the next leaders of our country. This is the day that we weigh every side and to choose the most deserving for us. Most of us will have this called election anxiety especially that in counting already begins. Some of us are nervous and worries if their bets will win. I can't blame them because our vote is the one who will decide on our future. In the next 6 years, we are ruling by new leaders and I hope that we really did our best to choose not the best but a better candidate. I go to school at exactly 8AM and as expected, the queue is already long. But since it's our right and responsibility as a citizen, I patiently waited until I cast my vote. At last, after 3 hours I'm done. It's my first time to vote and I can say that I'm a bit nervous because I want to shade it perfectly haha. But on the other hand, I can say that it is all worth it because through shading the names of the candidates, I know that I also able voice out my choice. I know that my vote is counted as one but remember that great numbers will start with small one. So even it's only one, our vote still matters. Your vote can help our country to decide who should be the next leaders.

I expected that there's some machine that's will crash but I didn't expect that in some places and precinct, there's no machine at all. The voters need to wait for too long until the machine have arrived. They prepared for this special day for too long but how it comes that there's no machine at all? Is it a coincidence or there's some anomaly happens behind ? But no matter what, I hope that the real result will come out. Let's pray that there's no chaos or confusion happen. I hope that just like how we protect our ballot, they also protect it with care and count it with transparency. After this day, we will go back to our normal life. We can't hear any jingle of the candidates. There's no big tarpaulin on every corner of the street. There's no rallies happened and featured on the news. Meaning to say, we will go back to the life we used to be were we need to wake up to grind and work for the needs of our family. Even we elect new leaders of our country, we still need to stretch out own bones and face the responsibilities we have. Maybe leaders can help us but the action is still on our hands. We still the pilot who choose what destination we will be. So I hope that after this day, everyone will also move on on their lives. I hope that there's no bashing or toxic supporters anymore. We already cast our votes so please, let everyone gets the peace of mind. There's no reason for us to pinpoint or to degrade someone because of their choice. Let them be, they have a right to choose. If they didn't support your bets, that's fine at least you know to yourself that you vote the people you think deserve to the position. I'm also hoping that those friends who had conflict and misunderstanding because of their political stand, I hope that they still fix their friendship. Move on and let's live peacefully. No matter what the result, let's accept it. After all, we are Filipino and instead of dividing by groups , we should choose to unite. It's okay to get involve on the politics but we should not be over swayed too much. It's okay to voice out our choice but we should not also forget to still respect our fellows. We should not let our political stand ruin all the relationship and friendship we build for years. Let's hope and pray that there's no bullets once the results came out. Let's pray for the better and more peaceful country and environment for us. *Greetings!!* Hello dreamers of read cash Universe. How's your day? Is it hectic or are you stress because of the election?
