*I think the internet is going to be one of the major forces for reducing the role of government. The one thing that’s missing but that will soon be developed, is a reliable e-cash.* – Milton Friedman   Hello!… I should introduce myself as I step into this new world.   Most of you understand this itch, this drive to seek out something new.  The desire to step into the next challenge.  That, in part, is why I have decided to become a content creator.   I have watched the crypto landscape for a long time.  I have been around this larger community since before the “Great Crash” of 2017/2018.  I have survived the highs, the lows, and the boredom in-between while branching out into other avenues.  This will be the future of commerce and I very much enjoy learning (and teaching) about it.    I deal in numbers.  At the heart of it, isn’t that what this is all about?  In my day-job, I work with “big data” (if anyone still uses that term).  I manage a group that creates predictive models and integrated decision systems that help several partners do what they do.  Part of what I’d like to do is share some of this background that don’t seem to be very prevalent on these sites.   This experience has driven me into financial systems (not just DeFi) as a hobby.  I have spent way too much time reading the basis of technical analysis, quantitative trading strategies.  I get a good laugh on some of these crypt sites when someone posts a daily “technical” report.  Often it consists of the current price along with the previous days high/low values.  I will see if I can help improve that.   I think these topics might keep me pretty busy… but there are always things that I’ve tried to find data on where there hasn’t been a good post.  Depending on the time available, I might also write on “alternative” ways to get some coin (one CEX just gave me $30).  Mining has always been one of those crazy ideas in my head (who doesn’t want a money printer, right?)… and we will see what else comes up.   … and we are off.  I look forward to learning with you.  Please let me know what you think.
