Was Facebook Attacked? Maybe!
Productivity must be increasing around the world because #Facebook remains down. It went down at 11:26 a.m. US time. The question among many is: was Facebook attacked? I took the day off yesterday because my son needed his flu shot. Arriving at his doctor's office, we found it was closed for cleaning. Is #Facebook being "**cleaned**"? Is someone cleaning up Facebook? Conspiracy theories are already all over the Internet. In a short time, we will know at least part of the truth, but the real truth will always take longer to appear. Lies spread faster than the truth. Always. What we know so far Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are down worldwide. Employees can't even enter the building because their badges won't work.
Facebook security personnel are racing to sort it all out. Some people are pushing the idea that Mark Zuckerberg deliberately shut everything down. But why would he do this? Let's go back a bit first. The DNS records that tell systems how to find Facebook.com or Instagram.com etc were withdrawn Monday morning from the global routing tables.
Something is terribly amiss.
With billions of people unable to login, businesses and even the Internet itself has taken a hit.
A warning sign? Is this a sign of things to come? People have been postulating the idea that the Internet will eventually be shut off. Is that even possible? Highly unlikely. The internet is comprised of essentially interconnecting routers and cables.
Countries may shut it off for periods of time to quell dissent as we have observed in Syria, Egypt and Iran, as well as other countries. In order to completely shut off the Internet, the ISPs of the world would need to unite and simultaneously shut down to have a full world-wide internet blackout. Okay, so it looks like we're safe the far. But don't forget that an electromagnetic pulse attack (EMP) could shut off parts of the world from Internet service. Electrical grids would go down for months if not years and we would live in a veritable new Stone Age. Facebook for sale? Say it isn't so!
Jack Dorsey, owner of #Twitter even asked, how much? What the heck is going on? Is there a correlation somewhere? Correlation? Facebook is a **known platform of censorship**. They censor countervailing truths about the Coronavirus. They censor anything about the US election where Joe Biden allegedly cheated. T**heir fact checkers are paid by Bill Gates and George Soros** along with other globalists. But one of the more interesting correlations is the fact that the outage comes just before a Facebook #whistleblower is set to testify before Congress on Tuesday in the United States. Aha! Clever of Mark Zuckerberg, eh? The whistleblower is supposed to be going to detail the shenanigans at Facebook including profit over privacy. We already know the platform sores more of our data than we know about ourself! . Death of Facebook? We should be so fortunate. Productivity would definitely increased on a global scale. Lives could return to normal. We would no longer be psychologically manipulated.
The average user spends two hours and 24 minutes a day scrolling through Facebook, posting pics, watching videos and uploading videos. Imagine what could be accomplished if people stopped using the platform! For many people, social media platforms have become a form of idol worship. Update Facebook is back up almost everywhere. Billions of dollars were lost. We shall see if another outage occurs going forward. Hopefully we will know the true reasons why shortly.

I think there's a error in their server, maybe their server won't handle too much data that enters thats why they need to fix it. I don't believe that Mark Zuckerberg will sell Facebook cause he profits billions every year on it. There's also instance that Facebook had been hacked that's why the security team is fighting those hackers right now. It Facebook will go shutdown, then it would be devastating in global scale.
Mine is working. I logged in right before posting this article. It was down for 9 hours plus. And you're right, Mark Zuckerberg would not sell his platforms.
Haven't checked mine because I don't have one. No time for it. I do use Viber and a couple of other apps. Interesting correlation about the whistleblower. Can't wait to find out the real cause.
Good for you. It can be a waste of time. I use it to connect with my family who live far away.
That is why I use Viber but I understand FB is more popular.
It seems like the businesses and the economy will be affected if Facebook and Instagram will be deleted. In Facebook, many online sellers are everywhere where they're selling their products and services, and they're also utilizing it to promote ads. On the other hand, Instagram site is often using by the fashion designers to promote their brands which they are using the big influencers as their medium. Apparently, I said it since I'm mostly using it in my daily life. Anyway, we should also limit our usage and take away with toxicity too.
Correct. We shall see how much money was lot as a result of the outage of these apps. And yes, I limit my time on FB.

8 years for me, but not like when I was in school. What a burden lifted from always being on there. I don't do WhatsApp or Instagram.
That's very bad no wonder i tried all i could to browse through those two sites @ fb@whatsapp but was unable to due to the unwholesome act that may have been carried out on it by the suspected fraudulent acts of the internet thieves. Let's hope it is resolved soonest. Meanwhile, I wonder why it takes longer for articles to be approved on the "open for all" group. I have at least two of my articles awaiting approval for more than a week now and guess what, it really bothers me a lot that such could be happening. By the way, good morning and hope you had a great night huh?
