Beat cancer with Rexcelle If this is not allowed I'll delete this, but please read first. Rexcelle is currently battling cancer right now, and at her worst situation. She have Stage 4 low grade Leiomyosarcoma. Leiomyosarcoma (LMS) is a form of cancer that can be very difficult to detect, which is unfortunate since the best prognoses come from treating it at its earliest stages. The difficulty in detecting it is due to the simple fact that patients do not always experience any noticeable symptoms. While some swelling or a lump beneath the skin may be the first indication of disease, this can occur at a much later stage of the disease. Additionally, LMS is cancer of the soft tissue and involuntary muscle, meaning it can appear anywhere, including deep inside of the body. She is 18 years old from Quinavite, Bauang, La Union,Philippines. August 2018, a lump grew on her left cheek. She undergone surgery to remove it on February 14, 2019, and that time they found out that it was a low grade lieomyosarcoma a type of rare cancer. After 4months, a lump appeared again on the same area and it was bigger than the first one. So she undergone operation again for the second time. There's already a hole on her left cheek and her left eye has also been removed because it was also affected. A lump grew again in the pharynx that serves as a passageway for both air and food, and now she's only taking milk and liquid as food so she lost weight as well. She tried the chemotherapy but her body can't take it, so she is doing the radio therapy instead for 30 sessions . We are asking all of our friends and family to help ease the financial burden and help us raise money for Rexcelle and her family. Her mum was an OFW, but because of this pandemic she wasn't able to return back to work. Our goal is to raise enough money to help with the medical bills to-date and her ongoing treatment. As of now according to her mother, she's just lying in her bed 24/7 and a tumor/cancer cells are growing again. The doctor said that it's impossible for her to undergo another surgery because her body can't handle it anymore... We're knocking in your doors, in your hearts... she's just 18 years old and we believe she have many dreams in her life... helps us save Rexcelle's life. Total Chaos. When I was just a kid I never understand what the world may seems to be. I never understand what the world may look like when I grew up. What I know was, this world is so young, full of wonderful people, This world can give what you want, Can give what you need, and can help you grow. I thought this world is not cruel and bias. When I grew up, I think I'm ready to face the world, The world that I imagined when I was just a kid was really nice and full of colors. Until one day I was shocked that the system really works in a biased and cruel way, The system is not fair at all. This world is biased, unbalanced and in a total chaos. Chaos that really destroyed my childhood outlook in this world. The Old Lady cactus (name: *Mammillaria hahniana*) is a large, spherical type of cactus that is covered in spikes and fine spines. 3) Balloon Cactus This large cactus, the Balloon cactus, certainly lives up to its scientific name, the *Parodia magnifica* – Many describe the appearance of this round cactus as magnificent. One of the best features of this cactus is that they have this beautiful yellow flower appears on top of them when it blooms. 4) Christmas Cactus A very popular indoor type of cactus is the Christmas cactus (name: *Schlumbergera*) that is native to tropical regions in Brazil. There are actually a number of types of cacti in the *Schlumbergera* family, with the Christmas cactus being just one. This type of cactus doesn’t have leaves but long trailing flat segmented stems. This cactus species flowers during winter time, which is why it is called the Christmas cactus. 5) Powder Puff Cactus The Powder Puff cactus is a small round cactus that is a species in the *Mammillaria* family of cacti. Just ending it here! There are a lot of different cactus and succulents out there waiting to be place in your house, go check them out! Cactus may have many thorns and spines but actually they blooms with different beautiful and stunning flowers. Why Dogs makes you happy? It's 8am in the morning, I didn't have any alarms but who woke me up? I open my eyes and I see my lovely dog wagging her tail, wet nose and start licking all over my face. I realized that it's happier to wake up in the morning when there's someone who's more excited to see you open your eyes than your husband every morning, and when you take a nap in the afternoon. (Hahaha lol) Excited to cuddle with you, excited to bring out her dog plate and feed her. She's much more excited when you get dressed and ready her leash, she already know that she's going out. As you grab her leash, she's so so so excited like really excited, doing some weird things, wagging her tail nonstop and can't wait to step her feet outside the door. At that point, tou didn't realized that you're smiling and really happy too. Dogs make your life better. (Not just dogs, but all the pets and animals that you really like and love.) They make you smile bigger and bigger until they start licking your face! `In fact, according to a Dog Parent Study conducted by BarkBox, 71 percent of dog parents believe that their dogs have made them happier people. Almost 80 percent find it easier to awake in the morning because their dogs greet them. And a whopping 93 percent of participants stated that they are better people overall because of their dogs.` Why dogs makes us happy? 1) Dogs improve your mood and lower your stress. Just by looking at tour dog will make you feel better. Yes! Did you know that dogs can actually feel if you're sad, when you're down and when you're happy? Dogs can also takes your stress away! Karen Walker, a psychology professor at the University of Buffalo, performed a series of tests that proved dogs can help reduced your everyday stress. 2) Dogs make you feel loved. When there's no one to cry on and hug to, dogs are your on the go pillows just call their name. When you pet a dog, cuddle a dog, it increses your level of oxytocin or the love hormone. It literally calms your nervous system down, calming you and make you feel that they love you much. 3) Dogs help you to be social. Yes, just by taking them to vet makes you social. When someone pets them also, and you two owners started to have a conversation about dogs, what they eat, etc etc. You make new friends also just by owning a dog. Life is full of challenges Pain. Sadness. Sorrow. Depression. Stressed. Anxiety. Battle that we've lost. Yes, you're right. Life is really full of unexpected challenges. Who could have known, right? "I wanna end my life because nobody understand me, really understand me. This is awful and not fair at all! I did my best, my very best, guess nothing really happened even when I tried really hard. I bet it's a goodbye" -she said. We never know that someone is really fighting so hard to win a life over death battle in the ER or in the operating room. Maybe someone right now while I'm typing this article, someone hit by a car and runaway, maybe someone is being shot, or someone ended their lives. We will never know that someone is fighting over depression, that someone is really calling for HELP in their room, alone. Who could have known that THAT someone is crying in their bed, thinking how to get over that depression, thinking on how to make it better or maybe thinking on ending their lives. We will never know. They say hold on, life will be better soon. They say cheer up, you'll get over it. They say you'll be fine really soon, just be positive. Life is full of challenges, and sometimes we don't know how to deal with it. Sometimes we tend to breakdown and cry. Yes, we cry a lot, but that doesn't mean we're weak, we're just tired. So when you see that someone already gave up to his/herself, please don't give up on them.

Covid-19 shutdowns small and big companies in the Philippines More than hundreds and thousands of employee lost their jobs as the Covid-19 pandemic cases is still rising in the Philippines. More than 2,000 company decided to permanently closed their establishment while 1,875 and more others reduced their workforce according to DOLE. Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation (PSPC) said on Thursday (August 13) that their permanently shutting down its refinary in Batangas, after decades of operations in the country due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Another company that is affected by the covid-19 pandemic is the OKADA Manila. Okada Manila is one of the Philippines integrated resort and casino that is also affected amid of the covid-19 crisis. Okada Manila informed it's team that more than 1,000 employees will be lay-off due to the ongoing suspension of operation. But amids of being poor of the poorest, lost their jobs, and being laid-off, Pilipino people still look for the brighter future that soon this covid-19 pandemic will be gone and all will be back to normal. Let's still stay vigilant and safe.
