15 years in prison without a crime Amélia, a 87 y old warrior, trapped inside a big "castle", caring for her husband since he had a stroke. João isn't a bad man, just... Cold... We can't laugh around him, nor even talk normal, only whisper or else he immediately complains about the "fuzz" When I met Amelia I considered walking away, i wanted to run out the door, I was sorry I entered that house... She was so stressed, he kept shouting at her, she shouted back, I was panicking... I got up and said I couldn't work with that environment and they calmed down ... I said : I'm here to help, to make your life easier. But I can't be here if you're shouting, I need Respect After 2 days working with her I understand. She's so tired, he demands so much and she needs to rest too We laughed a lot together, João stays in the ground level and we go clean the upper level of the "Castle", away from his "sensitive" hearing I keep telling her: sitt, rest, I'm here, i do all the work... But she never stops 😂 Today i went there in the morning to help with the hygiene and getting João to his wheelchair. Went there again just now to help hygiene again and put him to bed. It's a Hercules task, but she's been doing it for 15 long years without receiving gratitude I ask her: What about you sweet Amelia?? What if you fall?? When do you rest?? She looks at me and says: What about you Marisa??? Do you think that i don't know, you are just like me. You'll stop only when you break I laughed. I don't think she expected me to Laugh so she laughed too. Than we both laughed hard... Until João shouted from the bedroom: You're doing too much noise!!! And we kept laughing but went to the garden Tomorrow I'll have Cristina to take care again, she's home from the hospital after 2,5 weeks. I don't know if i'll be able to help all 3, the houses are only a few minutes away, it will depend on how Cristina's mind is working now, if she can be alone for 30 minutes ... Or not... The fact is... A need at least 3 clones 🤣🤣🙈🙈 In the photo the sunset over Amelia's amazing Garden

Holy moly, my dear lil Sis please keep in mind that your power isn´t endless you have to divide it between your family and these other three (ah no 2) lovely peeps and be sure to get a lot of positive energy back from them if not its maybe better to spend less time there as hard as it sounds to hear that, I know personally 4 such stories and I had to cut of from 3 of them because if I´ve done it one week longer it wouldn´t be possible to help the 4th. person to come back to normal because I would be broken too than. Stay away from negative energy in any kind even in close family, its a well meant advice from somebody who seems to have a heart as big as yours (me) ;) Hugs for you three ladies from the other side of the border !!! P.S.: I hope christina is getting well soner or later, and I´m hhappy to hear that she will be back at home tomorrow
It's tough to have someone dependant on you like a baby for years I get to see my mom like this because i have a Sister who is mentally handicapped . Mom never rests I always saw her doing so much and still being taken forgranted that's why I stood up for her man it's hard but as always women run the world ❤️ I wish Amelia gets her well deserved rest too ❤️ I'm happy Christina is doing well now And I'm mostly happy to have another strong Independent mom like you ❤️
