The things that ONLY happen to me πππ So... I went to the nearest town to schedule the 2nd dose of COVID-19 vaccine for my 2 youngest sons And a young man comes to me crying. I mean really crying!!! He keeps saying he just wants to go home, he misses his mom Well, I could see he's a foreigner, slightly darker than the average here. And I talk to him, called him "My son"... ( Cz I call every young man my son π) We talked a while and he's calmer, I told him he's going to be ok, life will get better. And I gave him 20β¬. I go back to my car and he followed me, opens the passenger door and throws a big bag full of socks inside and keeps saying thank you, several times and walks away Sooooo π³ now I'm the proud owner of 200 pairs of socks π³π¬π§¦π§¦π§¦π§¦π§¦π§¦π§¦π§¦π§¦π§¦π§¦π§¦π§¦π§¦π§¦π§¦π§¦π§¦π§¦π§¦ you got the picture π Did I helped him??? Or was I scammed??? I guess I'll never know π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£ The highlight of my day so far ππ€¦ I should had known better, I have no social skills to be out there all alone πππ better stick to my cave π

hahaha ...you never know, but I know that this could be a very cold winter now this year and you and your sons will not have cold feet at all thakΒ΄s to that guy, so come on SuperMom itΒ΄s ok ;)
This is the first time I've heard of someone being paid with 200 socks for the kindness they've shared. But glad you were able to calm the young man though.
Really hard to judge, my advice to be careful next time there is a lot of scammers profits the kindness of people. But it's okay, in your heart you decided to help and to do something good and thats enough π
Congrats on purchasing all those socks! I had a friend who said everything in life that happens to us does so to teach us something. What did you learn from this encounter with the Sock Man?
