🎼🎶 Don't You Know It's Christmas Today?? 🎼🎶 How many Christmas do you have in a year??? I have the pleasure to witness a few ❤️ Being part of a Solidarity Group is a big part of my life There I get to witness the Very Best and the Very Worse of human kind And I'm happy to tell you that the Good excels the bad by at least 98.9% Now we have a new family to help. A young mom with a 4 y old toddler and a 14 months old baby. Her "husband" drank all their money away, not caring for food or basic needs for his family. After a new violent episode where the Police had to interfere, the social agent decided it was enough. Social security will help this mom by paying the rent for a house for her and her children. The father now faces trial and can only see the children with the social agent present But the house was empty... That's where we come in... 😁 In less than 1 week we already have all the furniture and basic appliances. Today we took the rest: Pots, pans, cutlery, mugs, coffee mugs, glasses, plates, bath towels, hand towels, kitchen towels, clothes pins, carpets, sheets, curtains, pillows, blankets, clothes, shoes, toys, children books, pajamas, dippers, baby wipes, baby cream, champô, soap, hand cream, tooth brush, hair brush, slippers, cookies, milk, potatoes, onions, garlics, rice, pasta, sugar, flour, canned food... Etc etc etc Basically, all this young family needs to start fresh in a peaceful life. Our group has no money involved, only the goods. Everything is delivered as new - washed, ironed, smelling and looking clean and shining. We're many many women and just 3 men, receiving, sorting, preparing and delivering all the items, using our own personal resources It's a pleasure to be able to witness this, for me it's much better than Christmas ******** Unfortunately this keeps happening on a regular basis, mostly caused by a violent father/husband. Most times the victims are the women and the children But we also had 2 cases of extreme violence where the kids were removed from both parents and sent to adoption. Again the worse violence came from the father, but in both cases the submissive mothers did nothing to protect their children or/and even tried to hide it.
