Mommy is finally home, she was visiting my youngest sister and the twin granddaughters for 1,5 week But she's sad. She saw some actions that hurt her. My sister's husband is a nice young man... But from time to time he is violent to her. For now ( as much as we know) it's "only" words... But even "only" words can break someone... Mom lived a very violent marriage with my stepfather - the father of my youngest sister - for 37 long years. I can only blame her, as she now understands. Me and my twin were only 12 when that man moved in to our house. And our mom let him do unthinkable things to all of us ( again, words "only") and even tried to kill herself twice. Although he never laid a hand on us, he beat my mom and she kept forgiving, even after he broke her harm and we called the police. No need to talk about the pass, but it was very bad... She's finally free, only because he tried to kill my nephew 2 y ago on Christmas Eve...yeahhh that was the breaking point, my nephew is a sweet kid, there was no more turning back... Because we, the daughters didn't let her forgive... Or else she probably would... My sister lived all her "single" life with this, now she's allowing herself to live the same It's hard, we keep telling her to take a stand, she always has excuses for him 😤 No matter what VIOLENCE IS NOT OK❗ THERE'S NO EXCUSES ❗ But the fact is... It's she that needs to take the first step. She knows we'll be there for her... It's time to stop Violence against Women Worldwide
