Portugal is the proof 25 April 1974, the Portuguese Carnation Revolution ♥️🇵🇹 The day that the Military overthrown the "Totalitarian Regime". Because people were tired of sending their young men to a senseless war, trying to keep the oversea colonies - Angola, Guiné Bissau, Mozambique. There was no freedom of speech, the Political Police ( PIDE) arrested everyone that dared to speak against the regime. The military convoy entered Lisbon and took down the regime without shooting 1 single shot.
