Fb memories reminding me that 1 y ago we where here: Conimbriga This is a archeological site near Coimbra city, the findings of a Roman villa and bath site. Romans loved bath, in a time when baths we're almost unexisting in most cultures A elaborated and quite stunning water and heating system allowed them to enjoy warm bath in big common pools, the favorite places for the rich and powerful. It was usual to build on the previous existing structures, so under the digged Roman villa, there's evidences of even older cultures, less evolved, probably the ppl living here before the Roman occupation Not going to talk much about the historical itself, you can read it in the link, but this is huge, although most of it remains to be uncovered. It's supposed to be at least the size of 10 football fields and only a small part is already showing It was an amazing morning for us, the Energy here is amazing, so much to look, so many details, so many information available, both outside and inside the small museum In the first photo you can see Me, my husband and our 4 sons, in another photo there's also our new family member - my eldest son girlfriend/wife For more info you can use this link: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Con%C3%ADmbriga
