Today's lunch: carrots, celery, leeks, onions, tomatoes, potatoes, zucchini, garlic, spinach, eggplant and green beans from my garden a pinch of salt and olive oil made in the firewood No blender, no electricity, soup like my greatgrandma used to do ??? Maybe. I have no one to follow, I was brought up using gaz stove and electric... Probably my grandmother would think i was going the wrong way. It's really good to have a vegetable garden and fruit bearing trees. You got some fresh and free food. I grow up with my mom using woods for cooking. But i prefer using electricity it's more convenient. But sometimes is there's a power cut I use wood.
Where's the bone or chunk of animal flesh to give it some flavor? :-)
