Poooffff 💢 SunDay disappeared 😳 A sunset + hot pepper + gentle rain And as soon as the sun sets the temperature drops from 16°c to 10°c 🥶 I wish I had a switch to turn off my mind and heart... More and more ppl ask for help, nice and educated, good ppl looking for a helping hand to start a new life... Right now I'm trying to find: 2 couches 1 couple bed 3 single beds 1 stove 2 microwaves 2 fridges 2 washing machines Cutlery, carpets, sheets, blankets pillows, cloths, shoes, toys ... etc ect ect For 2 different families, one with 2 children, other with 3 children... When there's children involved it's even harder for me to keep a distant heart... I'm sending messages to all my friends looking for help, trying the fb groups... My hate/hate relationship with money doesn't pay off when I feel my hands tight 🙁 In the 2nd photo, the children that arrived today, the mother sent me the photo, they're happy to be finally reunited after 4 months living in different countries (Portugal and Brazil), I can only hope for the best, they left Brasil in the summer time, they arrive here in the cold, they'll suffer a 18°c temperature shock 😞 I've sent them warm cloths and shoes, I hope they don't get sick with the sudden change

It's different, here the cold comes with wind and a lot of humidity And for ppl that lived in Brasil all their life till yesterday, it's very hard
Well, here wind can be tricky. As Akureryri is surrounded by mountains. But, I understand what you mean.
I say only what other ppl say, ppl that have been in Canada, Germany, France... Much colder in winter... But they say it's a dry cold, easier to endure... I wouldn't know cz this is easy for me, the real cold isn't here yet
