A Message to BTC Maximalists - Are you Starting to See the Game Plan Yet?
**Bitcoin was created to disrupt the global financial system.**
The writing has been on the wall for the BTC project since Blockstream managed to hijack the entire narrative and direction of BTC.
The censoring of anything that did not align with their business plan was unforgivable and anyone who pretends to align with "censorship resistant money" should have spoken out more and looked at why this was going on.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3Tx9Pw1P0s
People like Andreas Antonopoulos have sold their souls to the devil. Don't believe me? Look at his speeches back in the early days of Bitcoin and ask yourself if the current Bitcoin Core project is working towards them or away from them? He is indebted to his donors after the BTC price skyrocketed so we can forget him ever admitting to his mistakes, instead we will see a change in his message slowly over time until he is basically advocating for a Paypal 2.0.
**Liquid**
This is your King BTC!? This!?
How moronic does this look, if you can't see what is happening right before you then all hope is lost.
It is good to see people within BTC still speak out but that is not enough, nobody has the power to implement or change anything in BTC anymore unless they are aligned with Blockstream's vision of creating a business out of limiting BTC at the protocol level!?
Don't believe me? See below.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEBi_iaCd1Y
**Core Arguments**
The arguments I hear from Core can be summed up in "look at the price". Looking at where the price right now is such a weak argument.
Step back and look at the market share BTC has been losing and will continue to lose because no innovation is happening there.
**Ethereum**
Remember Vitalik wanted to launch his project on Bitcoin however when it became clear certain developers would be at WAR with him he opted to start Ethereum.
Other coins too started to flourish as Bitcoin would not innovate, Monero getting privacy advocates, DASH getting people interested in digital cash. All these coins were only ever possible because Bitcoin failed to innovate and move with the times. In technology that is only going to end one way.
**Bitcoin Cash**
That is why I will forever be grateful to the people who decided to fork off and create Bitcoin Cash back in 2017, however forking alone did not guarantee optimism.
The community rallying behind Bitcoin Cash is what has kept us going despite constant attacks and negativity by people in this space who really should know better.
Bitcoin Cash right now is what Bitcoin was meant to be, literally the only thing we do not have is the original ticker and therefore network effects. However, these network effects are really negligible when BTC is not being designed to be used as money!
The opportunity is now for Bitcoin Cash, it is amazing seeing development teams get funded and community efforts in places like South America and Africa really pushing adoption out there.
We are already addressing so many of the flaws that led to the creation of these altcoins on Bitcoin Cash:
Ethereum - SLP Tokens
Monero - Cash Fusion
Dash - Block Size Increase
This is why for me personally I see no reason to diversify my own cryptocurrency investments, I totally understand why people do as due to the way this market operates of course I will miss out on gains here and there if I was a trader but I am not. I am simply a man who wants to see a global peer to peer electronic cash begin to dominate and provide financial independence to every individual in the World.
I am happy to take a position in this, dollar cost average throughout the journey and help donate to projects that I see can get us to our goals quicker.
I actually cannot wait for the BTC price to increase because when this happens the flaws with BTC in transaction fees and times become so much more obvious. Do not fear when this happens maxis, there is still time for you to come back into **Bitcoin**.
Bitcoin Cash Related Podcasts
Well we are now over a month into lockdown here in the UK, and whilst the disadvantages certainly outweigh the advantages, one of the plus points to being stuck at home for me has been having the time to dive deeper into the World of Bitcoin Cash and so I thought I would share a few of my favourite Bitcoin Cash related podcasts.
Podcasts
My favourite medium for information is podcasts, they really are a great way to learn about a wide range of topics, and are short enough that they aren't too intimidating like an audiobook sometimes is.
Coinspice
https://open.spotify.com/show/5JNoI4qT3uH1bW38Zogka3?si=nVDaBAutSkeLYYqN54I06Q
Coinspice is probably my favourite BCH related Podcast right now, there are over 70 podcasts available so plenty of listening material for you to expose yourself too!
Humans of Bitcoin
https://open.spotify.com/show/5fGtjPQt92RF9ygxz2A5iq?si=ieI6bD0PR-aG_cIo6UhvoA
If this podcast was still running then this would probably have taken top spot. Sadly Matt Aaron (@mattaaron) left Bitcoin.com and no longer does produces podcats however there are plenty of episodes in the archive for you to listen to, from interviews with high profile guests such as Vinny Lingham, Erik Voorhees and Jeffrey Tucker you will definitely take something away from each episode.
The Agora
https://open.spotify.com/show/5VnKYUBsCAZP5mrN0MKDaz?si=OGvmJaAQSDejBzPLSoEvUQ
Although not specifically a Bitcoin Cash or Crypto related podcast, The Agora podcast by Sal Mayweather (@SallyMayweather) touches on Bitcoin Cash and Austrian Economics in a lot of episodes and is definitely worth a listen!
*Also, if you are not following Sal on Twitter you are doing it wrong! This guys memes are hilarious and I don't think he is ever not online!
Bitcoin.com
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCetxkZolEBHX47BqtZktbkg
Although not a Podcast persay, the Bitcoin.com YouTube channel consistently puts out BCH related videos and allow you to keep your finger on the pulse with what is happening in this space.
Roger Ver also has his own YouTube channel:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZyrn1awtEVne0bdryfuI6A
However, there is a lot of crossover between these two but it is worthwhile subscribing to both!
I hope I have given at least a few of you some new Bitcoin Cash related listening material and if there is any others you think I should check out then please let me know in the comments!
SLP Tokens - Bringing Trillions of Dollars of Investment into Bitcoin Cash
One of the things I am most bullish on within Bitcoin Cash right now is Simple Ledger Protocol tokens (https://simpleledger.cash/)
We perhaps do not hear about SLP tokens as much as we did maybe 6 months or so ago but I still believe this is quite possibly the thing we should all be keeping a close eye on over the next few years.
I have continually thought about ways I could get involved in the Bitcoin Cash space and allow I have no computer science background I think it is perhaps feasible that one day I or anyone could launch Real Estate fundraising projects on SLP given my experience.
**Real Estate**
Real estate / Property investment is probably the most agreed upon asset class that you should store your wealth in. There is trillions of dollars sitting in real estate that could surely start making it's way over to Bitcoin Cash.
I have experience in Real Estate prior to ever discovering Bitcoin Cash, and investing in real estate had always been the way I saw myself becoming financially indepedent and escaping the rat race.
This mindset probably is from the effect reading Robert Kiyosaki's *Rich Dad Poor Dad* had on me at a young age.
**Bringing Passive Income to Bitcoin Cash**
Surely it is feasible that we could soon start tokenizing real estate assets and bring them over to Bitcoin Cash, thus lowering the barrier of entry to people to invest in property and also allowing people to actualise some of their Bitcoin Cash gains without fully cashing out into the fiat system.
I picture a World where property investors can pitch their investment to people on a platform such as Flipstarter, provide a breakdown of all the costs involved and the expected yield this will produce for them. For example:
Purchase price
Refurbishment costs
Taxes
Letting agency fees, etc.
A crowdfunding target of say 500 BCH could be set, where your money only leaves your wallet once the target has been reached and SLP tokens are then distributed to all the participants in a percentage of investment basis.
Ownership of these tokens would then bring monthly or annual dividends in the form of Bitcoin Cash through rental income, therefore "normal" people so to speak could feasibly start to live off their Bitcoin Cash investment.
**Incentivize Adoption**
Real estate investment in Bitcoin Cash could incentivize adoption through a few ways:
People being able to invest in Real Estate and achieve passive income easier than in the current banking World where they would most likely have to raise all the funds themselves.
Tenants could be offered a small discount if they agree to pay in Bitcoin Cash, thus benefiting the tenant to buy and learn about Bitcoin Cash, the discount would also be somewhat negated to the investor by less transaction and exchange fees going from fiat to BCH.
Further down the line who is to say we could not see Bitcoin Cash communities where apartment complexes are fully owned and rented out in BCH. Similar to the Free State project in New Hampshire.
Imagine how many businesses would then HAVE to start adopting Bitcoin Cash in that area?
**The Next Stage**
SLP tokens seem the next stage for me with Bitcoin Cash adoption. It is great being able to buy things using my Bitcoin Cash and getting paid in Bitcoin Cash (even through producing articles like this) is genuinely amazing and earning BCH feels so much more better than buying it.
I see being able to invest your Bitcoin Cash in projects as being the next great adoption stage now where entrepreuners are encouraged to come on over to Bitcoin Cash.
I really do hope I can read back on this article in a few years and be living off Bitcoin Cash.
Learn Austrian Economics For Free
Hello everyone,
Perhaps you are like me and you discovered Bitcoin / Bitcoin Cash without any real knowledge of economics before, Austrian economics in particular.
If you have been in this space now for even a short period of time I am sure you have heard the term Austrian economics, well I am going to write a guide in how you can learn from some of the greatest thinkers and teachers the World has ever seen for free thanks to the Mises Institute!
I am so grateful for discovering the teachings of people such as Murray Rothbard, Ludwig Von Mises and Henry Hazlitt to name a few since discovering Bitcoin. This has only strengthened my belief that the invention of Bitcoin is one of the best things to have happened to mankind, it is honestly a travesty that the schooling system doesn't encourage debate around Austrian economics or Libertarianism.
We have been indoctrined since a young age into a certain way of thinking, a way of thinking that essentially wants us to believe the State is good, the State knows best and we should never question the state!
Well thank God for Bitcoin and it putting me on a path of free thinking and a path of discovery to Libertarianism!
So now, here is a great way I hope many of you will go and discover this message for yourself.
**Step One**
Go to https://mises.org/
**Step Two**
Navigate to the books section, where you will see featured categories of some of the most popular topics.
**Step Three**
So having selected "Rothbard Books" I can now browse a list of various books and essays by the great man and pick which format I wish to download this in, for this example I will choose PDF.
**Step Four**
Having selected PDF a tab like this should open and allow you to freely download this book so you can read it at your own leisure.
Now if you are like me, reading from a PDF on a laptop or monitor isn't the best so I will now show you how you can take this file and convert it to read it on your Kindle device much more comfortably!
**Step Five**
Navigate on over to https://calibre-ebook.com/
and then click download Calibre and install as per the requirements for your device
**Step Six**
Having installed Calibre you can now load up the software and click add books and locate the PDF file you downloaded from the Mises Institute and then click convert books which will allow you to convert this to **AZW3** which is the file type needed to be read on a Kindle.
**Step Seven**
Just to confirm this is the output you want, AZW3 and you can fill in the title and authors name as you wish, although this is 99 times out of 100 already prefilled for you.
**Step Eight**
Done! You can now locate a folder which will be titled the same as the book you have converted and within it, it should contain the following files.
Now simply copy this folder and paste it onto your kindle when it is connected to your laptop or computer and you can now go and read the works of some of the smartest men the World has ever seen just as if you had purchased the book from Amazon for your kindle!
**The Mises Institute**
The Mises Institute accept donations in Bitcoin Cash and a few other cryptocurrencies and so if you do find value in the content they provide for free I would encourage you to consider a donation to them.
These donations can also be used to pay for a membership of the Mises Institute if you are interested in that sort of thing.
Thank you for reading and I hope you get some value out of this :)
Dollar Cost Averaging - The Most Underrated Approach to Investing
Dollar cost averaging, not the most sexy thing you will read on here today probably but it could be the most powerful thing you read IF you apply it.
Dollar cost averaging is an easy method to explain, but a very hard method to pull off. Human nature is built on survival so you can bet when you see your asset depreciate it feels like an overly emotional experience, it goes very much against our built-in human survival nature.
A lot of people will discover Bitcoin during a bull run, they end up buying on emotion as it is very easy to feel FOMO in this environment. A lot of people end up throwing in a good percentage of their life savings, only to see this drop by say 50% over a couple of months and if they bought on emotion not really understanding this technology there is a good chance they will sell, take their losses and leave this space. That is not what we want, that is not how we grow the BCH ecosystem.
**Timing the Market**
Nobody can time the market. Go back and read that again, **"NOBODY CAN TIME THE MARKET"**. So lets not even bother trying.
It is not timing the market you need to worry about, it is time in the market we should be concerned about!
When you find something you believe in, commit to that over the long term. Never stop educating yourself, and remind yourself of what drew you to this in the first place.
**Embrace the Dips**
When you accept that timing the market is impossible and you switch your focus on where this will be over 10 years say, as opposed to one year everything becomes better.
Emotion is removed and when you see that the day you buy your Sats they are 20% off, rather than question why you are doing this embrace the fact you are getting a discount!
Even when the market is way down, do not be tempted to buy a day or so early and hope you get it at a better price than if you had waited until the day you have committed to buying previously.
E.g. Every second Friday of the month you buy a set amount of BCH, from the same exchange, ideally for the lowest fees possible.
**Start Small**
Here is what I am currently averaging in with every two weeks, it is not a lot of money by any stretch of the imagination but it is an amount I got comfortable with.
I overextended myself before, lost my job and then had to sell my BCH to survive. I do not want to EVER experience that again and so I am trying to remain disciplined with a small amount that I know I won't miss and will remove price swing emotions from.
**Where to Buy**
If you are new to this and don't really know where to start I have a couple of recommendations for you.
local.bitcoin.com
If you want to purchase BCH anonymously without it being associated to you, this is by far you're best option. There are sellers all over the World, what you will pay depends on the seller and the fees they charge.
uphold.com
Where I have started buying is through uphold.com, this is because they have no fees on either end of the transaction provided you use your mobile app. They do require KYC though so this all depends on where you sit with that.
There are multiple other options for buying that a simple web search will bring up, that is not the most important thing. The most important thing is that you start and that you start today!
**Providing Liquidity**
I will finish with what I think is an important thing to note, the people who are buying every payday, every week or every two weeks. Whatever it may be are providing liquidity to the marketplace and that is massive for us.
The more of us that embrace the dollar cost averaging method in my opinion the better.

How I Became a Bitcoin Cash Maximalist
Hello! Sorry, allow me to introduce myself…
I have been posting on this platform for the past week now and I realise that I haven’t actually introduced myself properly and documented my journey not only to this platform, but to Bitcoin Cash in general.
I was properly introduced to the crypto space late 2017, I had heard about it around 2013 but dismissed it at the time as I was studying and didn’t have the time to invest in something I thought was nothing more than Internet tokens at the time.
Getting into this space around then meant I was initially oblivious to the whole scaling debate Bitcoin had had for years in the lead up to the forking off. Like many, it was speculation that brought me here and I had no idea the power behind this technology.
My main sources of information when I was new was Reddit and “Crypto Twitter”. “Crypto Twitter” really is an intimidating place for someone new and I remember a lot of Litecoin fanboys at the time regurgitating the Bcash line and trolling the Bitcoin Cash community, probably hoping to get a LIKE from their leader Charlie Lee and so I never really paid too much attention to Bitcoin Cash early on.
At the time I put a little bit of money I had into Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and also NEO (apparently the Chinese Ethereum…) and with that small investment I thought I was all knowledgeable and had this place figured out. Apparently after a few weeks of buying on Coinbase and checking in on Twitter I could pick the winners in this space.
**Then Came the Bears!**
I started reading on different subreddits and subscribing to a few podcasts and started to hear an awful lot about this Roger Ver guy, the man people were claiming was behind Bitcoin Cash (even though we know it wasn’t Roger who invented BCH)
When I first started to look him up through old blogs and videos my initial reaction was just this is someone who is genuinely passionate for Bitcoin and the good this technology could do for the World. I get how his passion could lead to heated debates with some people but I liked what I saw! I have never judged people on other people’s opinions and so I started looking more into his videos, following his social media platforms and also properly looking into the Bitcoin Cash.
**The Community!**
My first impressions were am I in the same place here!?
What a difference in the rhetoric between the BTC and BCH camps, anyone going onto r/bitcoin will be hit with posts about buying lambos one day and an almost arrogance in some people that Bitcoin had already established itself as an uncorrelated asset and long-term store of value and every other project was just a scam and doomed to fail…
Contrast that with what I was seeing on r/btc. The posts were all about building an infrastructure, developing a BCH ecosystem of commerce and building the tools that will enable Bitcoin Cash to achieve the original mission of Bitcoin and become a global peer to peer electronic CASH system. This whole can do attitude of everyone in here can do something no matter how small, was inspiring! Especially compared to the complacency on r/bitcoin that Bitcoin was already the winner and we were all not to worry as it is in the hands of the blockstream Gods and they know better than you so don’t ask questions just buy and hold and don’t even dare question the fees! The fees in late 2017 were apparently a good sign and a cause for champagne bottles to be popped!?...
It was this night and day difference that helped changed my perspective and got me excited to be involved and feel like an early adopter of a technology I genuinely believe can and will change the World.
**A Reminder that I was Still Living in a Fiat World**
In late 2018 I was quickly reminded that I was living in a fiat World and lost my job, a job I had held since university.
I couldn’t believe it. In the end I was just over 6 months out of professional employment due to the job market where I reside. In that time I had taken on work as a manual laborer on a construction site to help pay my bills however there was still a shortfall between what I had been earning and what I was earning now.
To cover this shortfall, I started doing all the usual things like dipping into my savings, selling off unnecessary items such as my PlayStation, video games and record player, trading in my car in for a cheaper one and I also changed what I was buying grocery wise and where I was buying it. This helped but not enough as I was out of professional employment longer than I anticipated and so it came to selling off my crypto, most my holdings by this point had been shapeshifted to BCH plus a few other small tokens that I thought were cool projects.
I sold these off slowly, hoping that I could “hodl” onto at least one BCH coin but unfortunately in order to keep paying my bills and help look after my family that last one got sold too.
Looking back now I believe selling my last piece of BCH might have been the kick up the backside I needed as I became a lot more aggressive in my job hunting efforts and in the June of last year I finally got a position back in line with what I had been doing before.
**Where I am at Today, and my Approach**
After a couple of months of finding my feet again I started to reinvest into BCH again, every payday paying myself first and buying around £50 of BCH, sending half to my bitcoin.com wallet for spending and sending the other half into cold storage with the goal of building up my reserves again! The only project I am going to buy now is BCH, although maybe not the best investment advice my rollercoaster so far has made me realise I am more attached to BCH succeeding than making a quick buck or two. I will keep an eye out on what is happening with other projects and stuff as there is a lot of cool things happening in this space but I believe in BCH I have found something I truly believe in.
It is funny, as I came here initially for the gains and with illusions of cashing out and making money but spending my BCH has become a much more enjoyable thing to do than simply hodling.
When I do spend my BCH I try and replace as soon as I can too but if I can’t afford to I never grudge my purchases as I see every purchase and every transaction as helping bring BCH closer to achieving its goal. It’s got that bad (or good depending on your perspective) where I have now become almost militant in my approach of seeking out products and services from companies that accept BCH as a payment method, and if they don’t you can be sure I am asking them why not.
It was discovering Rick Falkvinge and listening to him explain his vision of how we grow an economy with Bitcoin that helped this concept sink in for me.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nWGBMHUHj8
Although I am no Nostradamus I genuinely believe BCH will be the winner in this space purely down to the community and the motivations of the people involved. I believe owning 1 BCH will be a BIG deal in 10-15 years time so I am still working away to buy back at least my 1 BCH and now after everything I am getting there again. Knowing what I am investing in makes me so much more relaxed too as even if I never got wealth in this space I know that if this project succeeds the World will be for the better anyway!
**My Hopes and Concerns Going Forward**
If you cannot tell by now I am extremely bullish about Bitcoin Cash going forward, even though I wasn’t invested for a while early this year I never lost any of my interest and enthusiasm in this space and it excites me with how dedicated people are to making BCH a financial tool that will be universally available throughout the World.
The Cash Fusion project is what most interests me right now and what I am trying to learn about in my spare time as financial privacy is a big concern of mine. Like a lot of people when I first got involved I thought Bitcoin was an anonymous method but quickly realized it is in fact the exact opposite!
My concern is how we ride the next financial crisis, a lot of people believe that is when crypto will rise but I am not so sure just yet. I do not believe if it happened today money would flood into the space rather than out, using myself as an example, as much as I didn’t want to I had to sell my crypto. I imagine there is a few people who if they lost their job for a fair amount of time would have to turn to selling their crypto assets too.
Hopefully when that day comes (and it will) we are a lot further on and are in a position to thrive and capitalize as the rest of the financial World melts down around us.
**My Hopes for 2020**
After a rollercoaster 2019 my hopes for myself and my BCH story this year are pretty modest.
- Firstly, I would love to attend a BCH meetup somewhere in the World, there isn’t one near me so London is probably the closest one. Failing that Amsterdam would be pretty cool! (Probably my favourite place that I have visited).
- Secondly, I finally buy back my 1 BCH and think of that as a retirement fund (I enjoy seeing the price go up right now...but not too much!) That will finally bring closure to my job loss etc.
- Thirdly, my redundancy also made me re-evaluate my skill-set in the marketplace and so I am learning more about coding. This will hopefully give me a greater understanding of BCH too and so I have been looking at online resources of how to code and would love to see if I can pick up the hang of it over the next year.
- Finally, I hope to find a way to contribute more to this space, however small it is and of course generally just keep my eyes open and take in as much as I can.
A year in crypto is like ten years in real life so bring it on!
If you stayed with this article this long thank you!

If This Was Day One Which Project Would You Choose?
Okay, stick with me.
It's day one in the crypto space and we have two main projects who allege they are competing to become a new global currency.
One is called Bitcoin Cash, and one is called Bitcoin Core...
One project (Bitcoin Cash) has agreed to work on the premise of increasing its block size when required thus enabling consistently cheap and fast transactions making it usable by people Worldwide and not too expensive for more than half of the planet's population.
They know that in order to convince people it is a legitimate store of value they first must establish themselves as a means of exchange and so they are committed developing an infrastructure where people can easily transact, either paying with their Bitcoin Cash for products or service or receiving Bitcoin Cash for providing products or services.
The other project (Bitcoin Core) which is ran by a small group of programmers who have decided to start a side business whilst they try and make their project a World currency...
Oh but don't worry, this side project is related to this. In fact, the whole success of Bitcoin Core hinges on their business being able to scale and being user friendly so that people in the least developed parts of the planet can still use it. Locations where sadly people can't read or write must be able to use this technology or sorry, you are now excluded from the new World economy.
It's fine though despite having wasted years on this already they are no further forward. These people still claim Bitcoin Core is fit for purpose and the only logical choice here?....Okay....
Can I let you in on a secret?
This still is day one!!
The whole cryptomarket is valued less than that of bloody Apple!
The tools for what we are competing to be (a global peer to peer electronic cash) are still being built and everyday BCH is gaining more and more adoption in this space.
Bitcoin core is propped up with speculators and people hoping to sell their bags to buy a new car or something.
Do not get disheartened when core trolls say look at the market, the market has decided. This complacency will be their downfall and you will be rewarded for your foresight.
Throughout history, the winners in technology has been because of adoption. We have real adoption happening and being worked on at BCH, BTC has nothing but the sexier ticker symbol.
Please someone publish this article in another 10 years (02/15/2030) and quote this. I have a feeling it will age pretty well...

Why Bitcoin Cash IS the REAL Bitcoin
Is it just me or does it really f**king annoy you when you see a comment on r/cryptocurrency or "crypto twitter" by some Litecoin fanboy or whatever decry that BCH is a scam.
I know being angry at the ignorant won't solve anything but if these people would just do an hour of independent research they would start to question the narrative that has been fed to them through censorship and media darlings in the Bitcoin space.
**Who is/was Satoshi?**
I think pretty much everyone has been accused of being Satoshi Nakamoto at one point, we will probably never know for definite (however I can tell you who it definitely isn't and that's that FRAUD Craig Wright)
My suspicions are that it was Hal Finney (RIP) but I will probably never have my suspicions confirmed.
What we do know is that Satoshi handed the project over to Gavin Andresen. Although, not perfect without Gavin Andresen it is doubtful Bitcoin would have ever got to the position it is currently in as he brought in and organised a bunch of developers to help Bitcoin go to the next level.
All wasn't rosy however and Gavin Andresen started butting heads with some of the developers, as he knew Bitcoin would have to increase the block size if it was ever to scale and have any chance of achieving it's goal of being a peer to peer electronic cash system! Not digital gold or whatever it is the Winkelvoss Twins have paid and encouraged people to call it.
This led to Andresen being chased out of the project that he and Hal Finney had worked on together in the beginning.
Bitcoin was to be the most disruptive technology the planet had ever seen and start to swallow up the printed fiat currencies around the World. This is literally impossible with a 1MB block size.
Creating that problem allows a good business to be built around it however and alas, the Bitcoin core developers aka Blockstream launched their Lightning Network business.
It is now 2020 and the Lightning Network is still a shambles and is hardly going to be user friendly thus propelling Bitcoin to becoming a global peer to peer currency.
**The People Who Backed Bitcoin Cash at the Time of the Fork**
There are numerous Bitcoin OGs that backed the best economic solution at the time of the fork but here's a few that I wanted to mention that I see get disrespectful abuse online, and whether you agree with them or not they done more for Bitcoin adoption than 99% of people!
Jihan Wu
The CEO and co-founder of Bitmain. This man translated the Bitcoin whitepaper allowing it to reach over a BILLION people on the planet!
Jihan has been on record as saying not only does he understand the computer science principles behind Bitcoin but more importantly the economic principles. It's these economic principles the Blockstream developers don't understand whatsoever.
Jihan is currently working towards AI powered miners which will probably change the game forever so watch this space when that gets rolled out!
Roger Ver
Bitcoin Jesus as he was once decried, the energy and passion this man has for Bitcoin is infectious. Roger has travelled the World as an advocate of Bitcoin and the freedoms it will give every single person the planet.
Contrary to popular belief, Roger did not found BCH and there was actually a time when people weren't sure which side he would back in the fork. But as a successful businessman who understands economics of course he backed the path which enabled low fees, quick payments and Bitcoin returning to its path of becoming a global currency.
Rick Falkvinge
Founder of the Swedish Pirate Party. Rick transferred all of his wealth into Bitcoin back in the very early days of Bitcoin and he was on a lot of media outlets explaining how Bitcoin will reach the price of $2 million to $5 million per coin, working back the way from Bitcoin swallowing up the fiat of world currencies. Rick knew this was only possible by Bitcoin being spent and infrastructure built allowing Worldwide adoption, not by hodling it and allowing Bitcoin to become a play thing for the valley and essentially a ponzi scheme where you sit and wait and hope you can sell your bags onto someone else for more than you paid.
**Store of Value versus Medium of Exchange**
One point that shows the economic illiteracy of core supporters is how they claim Bitcoin is a store of value.
Sorry, one can not just simply call something a store of value. It first must prove itself as an established medium of exchange before it can ever possibly become a store of value.
I think Core supporters should log off r/bitcoin and go and read some Ludwig Von Mises and some basic economics books.
**The Good News**
The good news is me and you right now have the potential to roll back the years and collect our Bitcoin for much cheaper than it currently should be.
My approach is paying myself first every month, with half sent to my bitcoin.com wallet for transacting and half into cold storage for saving for the potential opportunities that come in this space.
Make no mistake owning 1 Bitcoin will be a big deal, and by 1 Bitcoin I mean the REAL Bitcoin, the one attempting to become THE global World Currency.
Right now, BCH is priced at $490, BCH could easily 1000x from this point. Sounds crazy but do as Rick Falkvinge done and work back.
Core supporters think the market has decided, my friends the market isn't even aware. How many people in the World know about Bitcoin, let alone have any of their wealth in it?
By building infrastructure and focusing on adoption BCH will overtake BTC and I don't know when this will happen but when it does it is going to be quick. BCH has a lot more support than hashpower suggests and when the stars align the flippening or cashening will happen.
We can't rest on our laurels and expect other people to do the work for us however, we all have a duty to waken up our family and friends to what is happening. We are literally laying the tools for the biggest transfer of wealth this planet has ever seen to happen.
Make sure you are on the right side of it.
Thank you.
