3. The Australian funnel-web spider The Australian Funnel-web Spider is a venomous spider that can be found on the east coast of Australia. This spider has teeth so strong that it can inject venom through the nail. The toxins in the venom are called Atrachotoxins (ACTX) and are harmless to wild animals, but extremely dangerous to humans. The victim may initially have most of the symptoms of spider bites (profuse sweating, vomiting, dizziness, nausea, excessive salivation) after which he may enter a coma or even die within 15 minutes.
