Good morning!
Sharing my thoughts on this morning's reflection. I've read about Paul who has been physically blind at a time and when he received his sight, he also received spiritual wisdom and understanding on the life of Jesus Christ. Like him, we have been spiritually blind too, understanding God and His word in the Bible was never easy.
In Acts 13: 22, God echoed through Paul of how He was pleased on the character of David. What is pleasing to God? Not David's work, profession, or success, but on his character. He is a man after God's own heart.
Paul's entire entire life and preaching from that moment on where totally fixed with nothing but Jesus Christ. In the same manner, our life should be nurtured from His word in the Bible after receiving the spiritual eyes to comprehend God's will. A man after His own heart is the ability to understand the meaning of Jesus in our life and live the life of obedience to Him.
I hope we have lived pleasing God above all, than pleasing other people.
