No! You are only helping yourself, not me. Perhaps both! Does helping others drive our own success? A lot, if not all religions and moral beliefs uphold the act of acting kindly which includes talking well to people, helping others financially or in whatever way possible, sorting things out for those who are in dispute and so the list goes on and 0n. The acts of kindness are endless and you can always choose from the endless lists but have you ever for once thought of why you offer the help you offer to others? Have you ever take a brief moment to think of why you do the things you do(it is only a habit for intelligent people to analyse their actions truthfully to gain clarity as to why they do the things they do), but have you thought of why we help people? You see, no matter how good or "spiritual" we think we are, they is still a bit of selfishness within us. Bear in mind that the word "selfishness" has been too misused and misinterpreted that we only see the negative side of it. There is a form of selfishness that is, infact, necessary, talk about self-love. There is another form of selfishness that focuses solely on the self, this is the form of selfishness that is disliked because it does not care about the harm it does to other people, as long as it makes the possessor of this form of selfishness feel good, this is the negative aspect of selfishness. There is also a form of this selfishness that l ets you strive in a cause of making yourself feel good, and then making others feel good, or making 0thers feel good, and then making yourself feel good(note the other in which they are arranged). There are people who do good deeds not because they really want to, but because they want other people to see the good they do so that they would get their favors in form of praises or other forms of acknowledgement. That is a form of selfishness as the intention of helping is not really with them, but rather they were doing it for themselves in the long run. They are others who offer help because of the bad people they were in the past and so, they only help others so as to feel better about themselves, not to get any form of praises. For those who believe in religion, they offer help to gain the favors of God or because God says we should help others, they do it because they wanna go to heaven. They do it because they do not want to go to hell. IS that not doing it for their own good in the long run? There are also those who help others, not because they see it as a means of going to heaven, not as a means of feeling better about themselves nor as a means to gain other people's praises. They do it because helping others is simply the right thing to do. They do it because they want to see others happy. I am sure these kind of people become happy themselves when they see other people happy, so the help also resulted in their happiness which has to do with themselves, so now, do we say that this is also a means to a selfish end? COMMENT YOUR THOUGHTS IN THE SECTION BELOW. THANKS FOR READING! **LUCIDBEING**

You! Yes you! You don't deserve anything. Yes and I mean it. You reading this do not deserve anything, whether good or bad. The feeling or thought that we deserve anything either from others or the world. The mentality always lead to the cause of one the world's greatest causes of sorrow and heartbreak: disappointment. Thinking that we deserve to be treated good just because we treat other people good leads to expectations, expectations lead to disappointment and disappointment lead to heartbreak. It is an innate human nature to expect good things where they invest good things in, but do we always remain optimistic about that? what if that optimism leads to heartbreak? can you handle it? Does that mean that we r**eally** do not ***deserve*** anything? yes we do, but from none other than ourselves. The fact that we deserve happiness does not mean that there will be someone who will come around someday and that is when we start believing that it is what we deserve. The problem with this is that when a person continually treats us well relentlessly, there is a time that will come that we start getting entitled to their treating us right, and when for a day they change towards us we et hurt or maybe even angry at them, because we already think that that is what we deserve from them. Rather than feeling entitled, why not feel grateful? Not everyone has even one person who shows them genuine love and care? Do you think you deserve it all? If you do it is from non other than yourself. Same goes for those who have had their inner child wounded and have been exploited emotionally to the extent that they start thinking that anything bad a person does to them it is because they deserve it. They have lived with this thought for so long that they become the ones to even apologise when they get wronged. Does that mean they deserve to be treated that way? Of course not! But that is what they believe for a very long time. These people need guidance. They need to be guided and dead that mentality. In actuality, all you need is already inside of you. It takes courage to realise that nothing you are giving in this life is truly yours. You think that the air you breath, the food you eat or the good health you are giving by God is given to you because you deserve it? If that is the way you think, then you are the most Ungrateful person on earth! Yess!! Living life as a wayfarer is a good approach to understanding this. Live life like the journey that it is. Appreciate good things, learn from the bad things and strive to be a better version of yourself. Thanks for reading guys. **LucidBeing.**

Day 2 on readcash. Good morning from Nigeria everyone. I hope each and everyone of us woke up in good health and shape and are already preparing for the tasks ahead of the day. Today is sunday and it also seems to be quite sunny too despite we being in the harmattan season. It has been blowing for two months now but today seems quite different. Very few people have their sweaters on. So folks, I wrote an introductory post yesterday in which I introduced myself. I hope the very few people who read it enjoyed it. Special thanks to @erdov and @Abubakar for reading and thank you for the upvote. *smiles. Today is my second day on readcash and it just keeps getting better and better, furthering my explorations I took a look at the communities and how they work. I also came to realise that there is a community known as NaijaWazobia for Nigerians!! I was very thrilled by this as I did not think there will be much Nigerians in the forum to the extent of even creating a community!! Greetings to my fellow Nigerians!! Furthering my exploration, I also found a community for Filipinos. It seems we also have alot of them here. I have always loved the Phillipines for similar reason I love Nigeria: the diversity. I have learnt that there are alot of languages spoken there also and they still live happily together. I am a person who loves and craves diversity and in fact, I plan on touring the world when I have enough money and I will work extra hard to acheive that. I love seeing how big the world is and see things from the perspective of different people all over the world. Looking forward to many more meanuingful interactions with you all. So, what do I have to write about today? From my first paragraph, I talked about today being a very special day. Sunday. So friends, what do you do on a Sunday especially during a sunny one like mine? The festive air of the new year is still very much present so I guess it is going to be a very special one for everyone. As for me, I have not really much to do because it is holidays and I really have to start preparing for resumption. School is resuming on the 4th of this month so it is that near. I do not have much friends around here so I might as well engage well in readcash today if something does not come up to ruin my plans. What do you plan to do today? Any proper ideas on how to make Sunday more enjoyable? Feel free to drop your invaluable comments and suggestions. Thanks very much for reading!

Hello people!!! Good morning/afternoon/evening wherever you might be in the world. Hope you are all doing good. I am a new user of this site and this is my first ever article or post. As a person who binges on the internet surfing randomly through stories, sites and blogs in my free time(which I happen to be having lots and lots of them lately as we are in holidays now), I stumbled upon this site. I had intended to search for readycash but readcash happened to be the first to pop up. As a curious person whose two favorite words have just been combined to form a single word(**read** and **cash** because I love reading and I love money haha), I decided to go for it instead and I must say, this is one of the most intriguing sites I have ever come across in my online surfing Journey. As a 17 year old kid who is aware of how fast the world is changing, I see this as an opportunity to grow. A lot of information is been spewed here all of which are valuable. I took my time to explore before deciding to write on my findings and please if you are reading this I will appreciate it dearly if you drop a comment on how I will enjoy this site better. I wish to make the most of the holidays and also my time and also the New Year. So having said all these, I would like to introduce myself briefly, you will get to know more about me as I write because most of what I write are a direct reflection of my person, how I think and my personality in general. My name is Abdullateef Adam Ibrahim. I am 17 years old. I am a Nigerian and the third child in a family of four excluding the parents. I am a student schooling in Bayero University Kano and I also from and reside in Kano state. My hobbies are eating, reading, playing basketball, drawing and coding. These are things I derive immense joy from. I will also use this opportunity to wish each and everyone of you readers A Happy New Year. I wish you all the happinness that you all deserve, more money and more self growth. This is all for now thank you very much for reading.
