When I Was Little I Was The Big Man
I started at a young age to be a big man.
I carried the paint crate on my back and the weight of life on my shoulders.
While my peers were running to play games after school, I was chasing a living in the corners of a small town's coffee shops.
I was never ashamed to go to school with paint in my hands and learn science.
I started my life at the age of twelve, much earlier and much younger than my peers.
At first, I was ashamed and even afraid to ask, "Brother, should we paint?"
The shopkeepers of the district loved me very much, and after a while I became a mafia, so not every painter could enter the places I entered without my permission. Even if they did, no one would paint them.
When I was little, I was a big man, everybody respected me, everybody loved me.
I have not harmed anyone, no one has heard of my theft or my arrogance.
Over time, I learned that dignity is the greatest wealth.
I have never held hands with my loved one, I was already ashamed to say I love you to someone.
I just loved from afar, he would pass by that street, it would be like my heart would burst.
I knew by his smell that he was passing by the street, the street smelled like him, everywhere he passed smelled of love.
He would laugh, my heart would also spring, butterflies would fly, birds would sing.
I used to work with my small body, summer, winter, snow, mud.
When it was very cold, I would warm my hands in coffee shops and continue working.
Both school and work were difficult, but life was never easy for us anyway.
I didn't play games, I didn't go to an amusement park, I didn't ride a gondola or a bumper car.
I've always missed that.
A fair would be set up in our little butcher, only then I would see the bumper car and the gondola, I could not get on it again.
There was an uncle cyclist who came during the fair, one day I was riding too and my head was dizzy, I was either scared as a child and even cried.
Uncle also refunded my money and said that if you want to ride again, come and I will not take any money from you.
I looked at him with excitement and surprise, it was the first time someone was gifting me a game, but I was afraid to ride.
Every time I passed by, I would greet the cyclist uncle, and he would always say to me, "Do you want to try one more time?"
As my body grew, I started to be a child, I lived to the fullest of everything that I did not experience in my childhood. Even though I am thirty-eight years old, I got into the bumper car only yesterday, and I took all the pain out of the time I couldn't get in.
I started to be a big man when I was little, my body was small, the load on my shoulder was big. I didn't have a new dress, thanks to my father, he tried to do his best on his own, but a mother of six children and a mother could not reach the influence of eight herself.
I've never bought expensive gifts, not even expensive toys. It turns out that I went through my hardest and most beautiful times, because everything was more sincere, everything was more beautiful, everything was simpler.
One by one, I climbed the stairs of life, we got the job power, the position of authority, but I never forgot where I came from, nor did I forget the beautiful childhood that I could not live...

The story I lived with my sister
It was the early eighties. I was in middle school back then. There weren't that many in our neighborhood who went to secondary school. There were also boys, but only one of the girls was gone. I was one of those few.
Those were the years when television was in the few houses in the big neighborhood. Technology had not taken their lives captive yet.
Friendships, neighbors, evening stays, tea was burned, I was waiting for you, the neighbor was called from the window or the courtyard.
Those glorious years when home phones, let alone cell phones, did not enter every house.
In street games, all the children of our street used to gather. But there were always problems between states, we used to make weapons from small pieces of wood and play as warriors.
There are such beautiful memories of those times to tell, but in this article, I am not talking about the memories of that day; I will tell you about my elder, who is one of the notables of our neighborhood, who we can call a cornerstone, who has experienced it.
Our next door neighbor. A small window of their back room faced our courtyard.
My sister, on the other hand, was a seasoned, understanding and helpful modern woman.
Whoever had a wedding in the neighborhood would rush to help or be consulted about the size of the wedding meals. We are talking about the years when home weddings were held for three days and three nights and the wedding cauldrons were boiling.
Whoever had a funeral, he would understand everything to be done and would be found in the house where the funeral was.
My sister was called when she was going to ask for a girl, her experience was used when she was coming to ask for a girl, and even when we were getting a girl from our neighborhood, the bride would go to the boy's side along with our daughter.
She was one of the wise ladies of our neighborhood. She sewed very well and cooked very well.
If I'm assuming my sister now, she's in her nineties or something. May Allah give you a good life.
Schools and reading were very precious back then. A child who went to school would be privileged over those who did not. He would have read the name.
Even the neighborhood grocers would ask the child who had read the bill, if a child who had studied at the grocery store came. Be it primary or secondary school.
You're a schoolboy, calculate it, it was called a lad.
Children would be sent to grocery shopping, and cash would be given to their hands anyway.
—-Come on, son, get two kilos of yogurt and four eggs!
The years when it was said not to lose your money...
Grocery stores were like a neighborhood school. Perhaps the children were developing their ingenuity in grocery shopping…
Those who had studied would come to his house the day or days before to take the university exam and stay. In this way, I can say that it has taught or helped many children to read.
Recently, I went to see my sister in my hometown. He is staying with his daughter. Once again, I saw that life is empty.
I heard that our sister, one of the cornerstones of our neighborhood, who has worked on many people for years, has not even knocked on her door.
I went and saw him, he was lying on his bed, shiny. We shared a lot of salt and bread. You have a lot of right on us. If he is on our side, may his halal be pleasant. I kiss your hands, my dear sister.
We humans have sucked raw milk. How ungrateful and how disloyal we were.
How many children did he have, including his own children and grandchildren?
Nowadays, people do not accept to have their brother's child educated at home, because they are afraid of taking responsibility and we have become an intolerant society.
Where is loyalty, where is humanity?
Now I am afraid to think about our own end, even to think about it.
May God not let you down. Let him not let his son be called my daughter, let him not act in need of oppression.
Because when we call ourselves with our elderly people in need of care, there is only a time difference of 20 years.
In other words, we are in the place of our elders, whom we did not turn today, twenty years later.
Lord, you are omnipotent.
Do not alienate us from our humanity, my God. Give our hearts a sense of love and compassion.
It is so ordinary to walk, to go out, to travel, to see different human faces as long as we can hold our hands and feet. We don't even realize what a blessing it is.
However, if you do not have a hand and feet and are confined to bed, how valuable is it to even sleep by a window. A knock on your door, a familiar face saying hello….
But we are beings who cannot understand without falling, unfortunately...
My Little Story of Living
Hello everyone, I would like to share with you the problem I had recently. Actually, maybe it's not a problem, but... Let's call it a kind of "reproach" if you want. I hope you welcome me.
The gigantic beings (i.e. people) residing in this area have always peeked at me. They look like idols as soon as they see me. Believe me, they are stable enough to almost hold their breath. If you see them, they become so ridiculous. Therefore, there is a question that bothers me a lot: I don't know how to explain it...
How can people carry their big bodies with their tiny feet? Moreover, they are upright. Besides, I see them running. Even the fastest of them can't compete with my slowest! My aim is not to compare, but to try to understand: Besides, how can they climb with their gigantic structures like me; nor can they fly? There must be an explanation for this, of course, but no one can explain it to me.
I think what would I do if I were in their place. But unfortunately, no matter what I do, I am incapable of being more different than I am…
I wander all day. I jump and climb. It's not like bragging, but it's not like jumping on me. This ability is perhaps due to my slender body and long tail. My tail helps me balance from branch to branch as I jump. My long legs and hard notched nails allow me to hold on well. My big eyes are like binoculars. I am among the best seeing among rodents. But unfortunately I can't parse the difference between red and green. Thanks to the position of my eyes, I can immediately discover the dangers behind me. For this reason, it would not be difficult for me to protect myself from those who want to taunt me. Moreover, since my speed is not in any of the rodent family, I am quite peaceful.
All tree species in this Filar forest where I am is my abode. Moreover, I do not have a habit of quarreling with crows and swallows. We live and go here as friends.
To my favorite places when I'm hungry; I go on expeditions by jumping from branch to branch. Actually, it's okay to fill my stomach. There are plenty of fresh pine leaves, hazelnuts, pine cone seeds and mushrooms to fill me up. But I always enjoy looking for the best, the freshest.
Let me tell you before I forget: I have four front teeth that are constantly developing (due to wear). I have a total of sixteen teeth. I usually live under dried leaves and bushes at the bottom of trees. Thanks to my fur, which keeps me warm in winter, I take shelter in my house, which is approximately 30 cm in diameter, in the snow. After about forty days, I give birth to 4-8 puppies. My babies are born blind and naked. After 22 days they open their eyes and I feed them with my milk for 12 weeks. Then they become able to sustain themselves.
You may not believe it, but I take full responsibility for my puppies myself. You see, their father would never be there!
I know every corner of the Filar forest very well. I love the pine trees there. I am also aware of how much the smell they secrete affects people; because they always sit in those areas and listen to the sound of the forest; They breathe deeply and feel pleasure. They follow me and take walks.
But recently, while I was strolling under the pine, one of them threatened me. Oh, you don't believe it, do you? Believe me, I'm serious. If I said threat, not with a gun or anything. Aww! You immediately think of violence. Do not be afraid! He wasn't young enough to even try boxing or karate. His threat consisted only in camping under the pine I loved so much. You see, it turns out that he too was finding peace in the shade of that pine.
Ah! What should I see: he also has a notebook and a pen in his hand. He was watching me without hesitation and writing something; Or he was drawing, I don't know! If I had to guess, I'd say he was writing poetry. Don't mind me saying it's so stupid: After a while I realized that it was not meant to hurt me. Because he sat innocently and watched me for minutes. At one point, I left and hid in the branch of a poplar tree. I saw that that person had closed his eyes and was still sitting. Meanwhile, the sounds of woodpeckers and sparrows cheered the air. Seagulls shrieked on the shore of Lake Mälare, a short distance away. It must have been a lot of fun for that person. Believe me, even I said to myself "I'm glad I live in this forest".
After a while, I heard other human voices. I saw that a man is examining me with his dog and binoculars in his hand. I looked at him angrily. I also wagged my tail quite a bit. I don't know if I understood it from my gaze, but I would like to ask him "why do you turn my attention away every time you see me and disturb my peace". But unfortunately I don't know their language. The man's dog also started wagging its tail and salivating. Paradoxically, the dog's drooping tongue made me shudder a little, but his actions were very entertaining. We stared at each other for a while. Then they went away. And I left there quietly.
Then I climbed a beech tree. That man and his dog stopped several times to look for me with their eyes, but they could not see my tiny being. However, I could see them very clearly. They are poor! They left helplessly.
It's been a long time. I was wandering. I was under a roadside pine. While I was dealing with a huge pinecone that looked delicious, someone came towards me. I'm nervous. But what I saw were little people. They were so cute and excited. They were talking loudly and jumping around. One of them discovered my existence. He immediately grabbed his phone to take a picture of me next to him. Well, I posed too; As if to say "come on, attractive people".
How bubbly these little people were. I really admired them. It wasn't because they had seen me that they continued on their way with a satisfied attitude. I looked back too. I wish I could hear their voices a little more...
When I came back under the pine I loved, I realized that the person who was staying was gone. Should I return home too?
Unfortunately the weather has cooled off quite a bit. We are entering the winter season. My food treasury on the ground is also running low. I guess I'll have to be more active from now on.
Ah! How quickly time has passed! I must return to the stash before dark. Well, there is a time for everything.
