"July Morning" In my country, there is this semi-hippie way to celebrate the first day of July by meeting the sunrise either on the sea beaches or somewhere high in the mountain. Usually at that time is played "July Morning" by Uriah Heep. I've done this few times, not my thing exactly, to be honest, I still respect that, we need more things to celebrate in our lives, don't we? :) I took that sunrise photo near the lighthouse of Ahtopol, Black Sea, Bulgaria. Do you have similar celebrations in your country? :)

This way of celebrating summer, I think, I like and I have always liked the song of Uriah Heep. We do not have something similar and I am sorry but I find once again that Bulgarians are more inventive and modern than Romanians.
:) Thank you, I wouldn't compare our nations that way. :) In economical terms, I think you are developing/prospering better then us. The important salaries... of the doctors, teachers, etc. are better now. Sorry to see that huge accident in the oil refinery near Constanța :(
From this point of view, you are right but the differences are small and can be overcome. The truth is that we are at about the same level, that's why we entered the EU together, in a package. I wanted to say from another perspective and perception ... I like the sea but in the last twenty years, I have only traveled to Bulgaria (Shabla, Balchik, Nessebar, and Sozopol) or the island of Thassos, although from Bucharest to Constanta it is only 200 km and it would have been easier for me to go there. I liked the Bulgarian coast, first of all, that the sea is more beautiful, probably because of the relief. I liked the climate that is a little closer to the Mediterranean, in my opinion, I don't know if I'm not wrong. I liked the way those in hotels and restaurants behave, much more honest than those in Romania. I liked, of course, that it is cheaper than ours. It is a perception of a stranger, you know the situation much better ...
I think I understand your point of view. My last ten sea vacations - one in Bulgaria and nine in Greece. It is somewhat more expensive than Bulgaria but considering the quality of the beaches, the hotels, the food and the famous Greek hospitality, most of the Bulgarians prefer to pay more but return with great experience from a Greek sea vacation. ;) My point of view about the Bulgarian shore is based on a comparison - what it was like 20 years ago and what it is now... Too much concrete, too many people. After a vacation here, I need few days to relax before getting back to work, so that isn't actually a good vacation, at the end :)))
I also understand your point of view. If I had lived close to Greece, all my vacations would have been there. I think Greece has no equal, I mean the sea, the beach, and the hosts. But not everyone appreciates this somewhat rustic sea. Resorts full of buildings, modern glass, and concrete hotels are far from my pleasure ... I understand that for you and I am glad that it is so.
Exactly :)
