Confession of My Crush Habang busy ako sa pag notes sa notebook ko kinalabit ako ni Kristine.. "Ano?" bored na tanong ko sakanya. "Truth or Dare tayo" nakangising sabi nito. "Eh? I rolled my eyes. "Okay fine" "Yownn!" masayang sabi ni Kristine. Mukha talagang may binabalak. "Who among this guys you found attractive? or na-attract ka agad pag nakikita mo?" "Truth or Dare?" tanong sakanya ni Jacob. "Same question as Kristine. Who among this girls you found attractive and why?" Tanong nito. "I not just found her attractive but i actually like her.." #oneshots stories

t͜͡h͜͡e͜͡ s͜͡t͜͡r͜͡a͜͡n͜͡g͜͡e͜͡r͜͡s͜͡ a͜͡t͜͡ n͜͡i͜͡g͜͡h͜͡t͜͡ 🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑 I was looking at the full moon here at my window in my room whe suddenly a cold wind filled me. I know it's not windy but i think it's him. "H-hey.. may tao ba diyan?" i asked. Walang sumagot. "Ang tagal kitang hinintay at binabantayan.. now it's time." "T-time? a-anong ibig mong sabihin?" "I choose you to be my wife.. either you like it or not you must have to choose to be with me. Teka alam ko to! Hindi ba bampira ang gumagawa niyon? "T-teka anong nangyayari?" "You'll see.." ngumisi siya saakin... Yung bampirang kumagat saakin. "Y-you! what did you do to me huh?! nasan ako?!" naiiyak na tanong ko sakanya... Hindi siya nag salita at lumapit saakin. He hugged me. But because of that i remember everything.. everything we've done.. he's my boyfriend.. he's my everything. But because of the accident i lost my memories but here he is, he wait for me. He make me remember again. "I love you.. do you still treat me like a stranger?" He asked while a sad expression on his face. 💮oneshots stories🌼

THe Right TiMe There was a man.. i really likey like the most. It's been 3 years since i saw him. Well i really love to see him again, i miss him so much. "Trixie?" My heart skip a beat when suddenly a familiar voice call my name. He's still the same Drake i known. He's handsome, tall..cute.. "D-drake?" I was speechless, i didn't know how to start this. I don't know what I'm going to say in front of him. "K-kumusta? Haha" I feel tensed. "Are you okay? Looks like you're not happy to see me." "I've been looking for you." Dahil sa sinabi niya nilingon ko ito. "I miss your presence.. your smell.. your little gifts that actually makes me smile.." "W-what do you mean?" "I'll be honest with you...." sandali siyang tumigil at tumitig saakin. "I like you, Trix.. no. I mean I love you.." "Nagawa ko lang iyon just because I'm engaged to someone. But that someone is nothing for me. Hindi ko siya pinakasalan. sinuway ko si Daddy.. now this few months I've been looking for you. And what a coincidence dito kita makikita sa favorite coffee shop ko." Sabi nito saakin at ngumiti. "Now Miss Trixie.. pwede pa ba? may chance pa ba?" "A-anong ibig mong sabihin?" "Now that i confess my feelings too.. can you be mine?" Napangiti ako ng wala sa oras. Naluluha ko siyang tinignan at tumango. "Of course Drake.." oneshots stories

I Love❤️ YOU, GooD BYe I've been waiting in 3 hours here in our meeting place but he didn't came. I know it's him. "Vince! He smiled at me. "Promise to me that you will reach your dream, babe.." maya maya'y sabi nito saakin. "Of course and because of you... mas tumaas pa kumpyansa ko sa sarili ko" ngumiti ako sakanya. "I love you.." "Please take care always.." sabi nito na para bang nag papaalam. Hindi ko nagustuhan iyon. "Ano ka ba mag kikita pa tayo" "Of course mag kikita pa tayo.. hihintayin kita tulad ng pag hintay mo saakin lagi. Mag kikita tayong muli sa kabilang buhay.. I love you, Goodbye." he's smiling while saying those words while my tears are slowly falling down. Of course we'll see each other again someday, Babe. I love you too, Goodbye. oneshots stories

Dear Fellow Youth, I know that you are stressed and depressed due to problems, online classes, and modules in this new normal. I would like to remind you that " PAHALAGAHAN MO ANG BUHAY MO, MAHAL KA NG PANGINOON." Surrender your problems to God, do not kill your life by your own will just because you are problematic. Be positive lahat ng problema may solution. Remember what God says to us “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light" -Matthew 11:28-30 Continue to Pray! 😉🥰

"Hindi mo naba ko mahal?" After getting married we were sooo happy together. Halos hindi kami mapaghiwalay! Netflix, dates, travels, washing dishes, cooking, and in almost everything... we love doing things together. After a month of getting married I got pregnant and when he said I'll court you forever, it doubled! Syempre dalawa na kaming inaalagaan niya. Ang sarap pala na kasama mo ung partner mo no? But he had to leave us again for work and ever since umalis siya, everything changed. From long night calls nung engaged palang kami na halos umaga na magkausap pa to early good nights. From long sweet messages to "Kamusta check up mo?" "Kamusta si baby?" "Ano sabi ni Doc?" From ending our phone calls with I miss you and I love you to "Vitamins mo ha?" It is really different from how we used to communicate! Everything is sooo different. Until a week after giving birth nag breakdown ako and confronted him," HINDI MO NA BA AKO MAHAL? We really had an argument! Then he told me, "Ano ba ung basis mo ng love? Sweetness lang ba? Syempre mahal kita but in a different level na." Then we started communicating our feelings... You know what I learned from this? 1. There are thousands of ways to say I love you! This is the longest time we've been together in person and ever since we got married, nasanay kami showing affection in person. In marriage, caring for your partner is the new kilig way of showing love. Long sweet messages becomes cringey because in person, nanjan ung little things like pag kuha sayo ng tubig, pag prepare ng isusuot ng partner mo, pag timpla ng kape, iaabot nalang ung vitamins before sleep, plus hugs and kisses are always available and ALL THESE could also mean I LOVE YOU! Bonus na ung extra mile efforts which is important din naman. Kaya ngayong LDR, pinapatulog pala ako kasi he knows how tired and worn out I am from pregnancy to motherhood kahit gusto pa niya ako kausap because we all know how lonely it is to work abroad lalo sa barko. He cares about my vitamins, schedules, and check ups, kung kamusta kami, because he's not here and he can't physically take care of us. Concern means I love you, time means I love you, checking on you means I love you, providing for the family means I love you. So to those spouse thinking na cold na ung partner nila, I realized, there are thousands of ways of saying I love you! 2. Work it out together He reminded me about my answer in our marriage counseling when our ninong/pastor asked me, "Paano mo nasabi na mahal mo siya?" So dapat ung definition ng love is not based sa natatanggap mo. You both work it out together, punuan niyo ang pagkukulang ng isat isa. 3. When you feel in love, tell your partner. When you're angry, pag usapan. When you feel cold, sabihin mo din. Learn from me, wag niyong patagalin! Give your partner a chance to explain and also yourself a peace of mind lalo sa mga LDR like us, communication is the key! 4. Pray for your spouse Hindi laging all knowing ung partner natin para malaman how we want to be treated, meron at meron sila pwede ma miss out on how to become a good spouse and parent, so pray for wisdom. Hindi sila laging malakas, minsan napapagod physically and emotionally, so pray for strength. Di naman sila perfect so talk to God to talk to your spouse. We are not perfect as a person and as a couple but we have a perfect God. And when you allow God to be the center of your marriage, it will never go wrong.

What Works in Preventing the Development of Depression and Anxiety in Children Mental health problems have been increasingly recognised as one of the most significant health concerns (PDF) for children and adolescents in developed countries. According to the World Health Organization, depression and anxiety disorders are two of the top five causes of overall illness for children and adolescents in Europe. In many cases, development of symptoms starts before a child's 14th birthday. The impacts can be severe and long-lasting. Mental health issues, including depression, are one of the leading causes of suicide among adolescents. The risk for developing depression or anxiety disorders can also be greater for children from disadvantaged (PDF) or challenging backgrounds. Despite the difficulties associated with depression and anxiety disorders for individuals, they can be treated. Early diagnosis and access to treatment are crucial in ensuring effectiveness. But not only are they treatable, they are also preventable. Accordingly, policymakers and practitioners alike are increasingly looking for evidence on interventions that might be effective in preventing the development of anxiety and/or depression in children. However, a review of the available evidence by RAND Europe researchers from the European Platform for Investing in Children, shows that the quality of existing evaluations can make drawing conclusions about 'what works' difficult. Available evaluations seem to vary greatly in their design, making it hard to draw comparisons between studies and build a convincing evidence base. The review also raised questions around the use of control groups and the occurrence of biases in evaluations, which will significantly impact study results. There is still a lot that is unknown in terms of what could help prevent the development of depression and anxiety in children. Share on Twitter Because of these issues, there is still a lot that is unknown in terms of what could help prevent the development of depression and anxiety in children. For example, approaches that use some element of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) are common, but it is not known which approach might work better than another, or for what reasons. Neither is it clear if CBT approaches are more effective than non-CBT based approaches. Another question that may need to be answered is at what age it is best to expose children to such interventions. There is some evidence that suggests the younger, the better. But other studies show no difference by age in the outcomes of a particular intervention. Additionally, there are certain aspects which simply remain under-researched. Little knowledge exists as to what works regarding vulnerable children. This is of concern, given that they might be more likely to develop symptoms. Also, it is not yet known if it makes any difference whether initiatives are delivered at a distance (e.g. virtually or over the phone) or in person. There is also hardly any evidence regarding the difference in outcomes based on gender. There are some areas however, where the evidence is more conclusive. For example, it shows that longer, ongoing interventions can be more effective than one-off projects in which children can participate. Furthermore, the evidence suggests that interventions aimed at a specific target group yield better results than initiatives that are aimed at children in general. Given the importance of the topic, a stronger evidence base would be welcomed by all. Future research could aim to include long-term evaluations, be more rigorous in nature, and include more diverse samples of children. If these limitations are tackled, policymakers and practitioners will have a better understanding of 'what works,' and in what context.

The Victims Upon initial reading, “The Victims” by readers seems to be a poem that paints the picture of a life of abuse; starting from the dawning of the exploitation and arching over into the life of the abused following the maltreatment. In the work, it is made to be believed that the clear victims of the poem are the speaker and their family—which is a rightful and obvious assumption—but there is another victim that is not as prevalent as that of the speaker and their family: the speaker’s father. After a second read, it is made evidently apparent that although the work does focus on the speaker and their family as the victims of the poem, the ideal that the father is also a victim is explored. Since the father is depicted as an abuser, it is seen It is unclear exactly if the events and feelings in the poem are that of Sharon Olds’ personal experience at some point in her life, but it is made abundantly clear that the speaker of the poem is an adult who is reflecting on the abuse that they suffered as a child by saying, “When Mother divorced you, we were glad,” showing the infinite joy they had felt when the speaker and their family was liberated from the toxic environment and from the abuser (1). The speaker goes on to say, “Then you were fired, and we/grinned inside” (4-5). The speaker of the poem not only feels ecstatic to be out from under their abusive father’s thumb, but at the mere fact that their father is experiencing a form of loss that the speaker and their family had endured. Although the poem mentions abuse, the tone of the work is not revolved around the abuse, but instead involving the events that take place with the father after the divorce. The beginning tone is happy with an edge of malice at the father’s deterioration from a successful business man to a ghost of what he was before the tone shifts to one of remorse toward the speaker’s father at the end of the Focusing on word choice, the speaker states, “She took it and/took it,” using the word “it” to describe the abuse (1-2). Although abuse is seen as a very serious topic in this poem, the effects of the speaker’s abuse is lessened by calling it a vague name and by doing so, shines all the spotlight onto how the speaker’s feelings toward the father as well as his own victimization is the main focus of the poem. Lending insight into the tone, the speaker says, “Then you were fired, and we/grinned inside” (4-5). By using imagery, Olds shows the tone of the poem by means of the way the speaker and their family finds malicious glee in the father’s slow deterioration. The speaker continues on to state, “Would they take your/suits back too, those dark/carcasses hung in your closet” (11-13). Using figure of speech to personify the suits as carcasses, Olds symbolizes the suits to portray the “death” of the father’s career which leads into his victimization in the poem, where the author begins to explore the idea that the speaker and their family are not the only victims in the

Dear Future Husband, Dear Future Husband, Throughout the years I have prayed, asking God to send me a man who always puts him first. I never understood the importance of my own prayer until recently I realized the importance of having a man who is willing to do so. It’s so crazy to think you were created for me, just walking around on this earth somewhere. I just hope you continue to follow his word so it may lead you back to me. “Woman came out of a man’s rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but from his side to stand with man. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved.” I will never expect you to be perfect because the Lord knows I’m not. You will make mistakes, so will I. I know that we will learn from past mistakes, which will make us stronger over the years. I vow to love your every flaw and weakness. For you, I promise to always be by your side throughout every trial, bad day, and hardship that may come our way. I promise to always see the good in you, reminding you who you are in case you ever start to lose sight of that. I promise to love you above any disagreements we may have and never hold it against you. I promise to always pray for us and our family. I promise to always care about your every concern, need, and taking everything you say into consideration. I will never pretend I am perfect, I will probably get on your nerves, eat off your plate, steal your yummy leftovers in the fridge, make you switch plates when I order something gross, and I may just wake you up at awful hours in the night when I can’t sleep. I can almost guarantee I will have bad days, moody moments, and sometimes I’ll be downright hard to handle but I know having a marriage surrounded by God’s love, all the good days and moments will outweigh the bad. I look forward to making you breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, doing your laundry, cleaning our home, and always making sure you can find your wallet, keys, and probably a list of many things I’ll hear you yell from the other room asking “Do you know where ____ is” I look forward to the laughter and joy our relationship will bring, but most importantly the look on your face when I defeat you in every prank war. I look forward to always surprising you when you least expect it, and rubbing your back and feet after a long day. I look forward to being your biggest support for anything your heart has set out for you to do. And I want to just say thank you in advance for all the spiders you will kill for me. Thank you for representing true love to me. Thank you for never holding a bad day of mine against me and loving me through it. Thank you for pushing me to always be better than I was yesterday. Thank you for your understanding, kind, and gentle heart. Thank you for seeing me for who I am. Thank you for loving every flaw and ugly part of me. My hope for us is that our love will grow stronger as time goes on, that we will never stop having slow dances in the kitchen, always continue to laugh, and to never stop holding each other. I hope that we are those old people in rocking chairs while our crazy grandkids run around laughing, singing, and full of joy, because being in our home and around our love becomes so contagious and overwhelming to others. And above all, I hope we never stop putting God first. I love you and will always love you. Sincerely, Your Future Wife

What to do if you’ve been the victim of a scam A woman stands by a window, thinking Scams are becoming more sophisticated and many people fall victim to them. This can be very upsetting, but don’t feel embarrassed or ashamed – you have been the victim of a crime and it’s important to report it and get the help you need. Listen Reporting a scam If a crime is in progress, or you or someone else is in immediate danger, this is an emergency. Call the police on 999. If you have fallen victim to a scam, make sure you report it. You may not always be able to get your money back, but you might be able to reduce the damage and take steps to stop it happening again – to you or other people. Scams are crimes and should be reported to Action Fraud, the national fraud and cyber crime reporting centre (0300 123 2040). You can also report phishing scams or computer viruses that you’ve received but haven’t fallen victim to. Phishing is when scammers send fake messages by text, email or social media to fish for your personal information, such as bank details or passwords, or promise rewards for an upfront fee. Certain scams can also be reported to Trading Standards using the Citizens Advice consumer helpline (0808 223 1133). Trading Standards looks at cases where companies have acted illegally or unfairly – for example, if they’ve pressured you into buying something you didn’t want or haven’t carried out work on your home properly. Getting support If you've been the victim of a scam, it can be extremely distressing, but support is available. Victim Support is an independent charity that supports victims of crime or traumatic events. When you report a scam to Action Fraud, they will ask if they can pass your details to Victim Support, who will then contact you to offer free, emotional and practical support. You can also contact Victim Support directly (0808 168 9111). You may also find it helpful to talk to family and friends, or you can call Samaritans for confidential emotional support on 116 123. Avoiding scams in the future Take a look at our information on spotting and avoiding scams for some simple tips on keeping your money and personal details secure. Be aware that scammers sometimes target people they know have already lost money to scams. They might claim to be an organisation that can help to get your money back in exchange for an upfront fee. Genuine law enforcement agencies would never ask for a fee to recover the money you have lost. Friends Against Scams train people to protect themselves and others against scams. If you’ve been targeted by scammers and want to help, you could sign up online as one of their Scam Marshals. Getting your money back You won’t always be able to get your money back if you’ve been scammed. You might have more protection if you've paid for something by credit card. Contact your bank immediately if you know that you’ve been tricked into revealing personal information or banking details, or if you notice suspicious activity on your account. The Money Advice Service has more advice on getting your money back if you've been the victim of a scam or identity theft.

A independent person Being a strong, independent person takes your self-esteem to a higher level and it’s great. You feel like you have a strong shot at moving up the corporate ladder and you feel like you can handle anything your boss throws at you. Which is definitely true. You know that the more people rely on you and the more people come to you with special tasks, the more chances you have to achieving your goals and getting promotion after promotion. Being independent also makes colleagues perceive you in a different way. You are seen as a valuable member of the team. Your strong and independent personality makes you a key player on the company and a reliable colleague. You are seen as a pillar of the company and someone who is able to help others. You are looked at as a role model for newer and younger employees. You are considered to be dependable and as someone who will help those in need. There is no reason why you wouldn’t want to be an independent person. It is a big part of being truly happy. At least I think so. There are somethings that an independent person does that sets them apart from others. You may have noticed them in other people or you may exhibit them yourself. If you are unsure that you are a strong and independent person though, read on for seven signs that will help you answer that question. And if you find that you are not, well it’s never too late to start being one. You Know How to Prioritize You are not one of those people that can’t determine what needs to be taken care of first. You have had so much experience at prioritizing and organizing your tasks, that it is now second nature to you. If you had to choose between solving a problem with a consumer and doing research for an upcoming project, you would definitely choose to help out the consumer. To you, it’s common sense. Your ability to prioritize enables you to be a strong independent person because you are able to make tough decisions without a second though. You Take Pride in Your Work You thrive at work because you pride yourself on doing a good job. Your motivation to be independent, also helps you climb the corporate ladder. You want to make more money to support yourself, so you work long hours. You come into work early and leave late. You basically slay at work in order to get the promotions you rightly deserve. Your job also provides you with the security to stay dependent on yourself. Without your job, you might have to move back in with your parents, which would strip away your independence. You take pride in your job because it is your life line. Literally. You Reap the Benefits of Your Career Success You don’t need someone else to buy you nice, extravagant things. You’ve got it covered. You have become extremely successful thanks to your independence. And your success means an immense amount of cash flow. You’ve dreamed of rolling around in a beautiful pile of green and now you can. If you see something you like at your favorite store, you buy it yourself. You’ve worked hard and you deserve to treat yourself to anything you please. If you want a new watch, it’s yours. You’ve decided you want a private jet? I’m sure you could get that too. Because you are so independent, you don’t have to wait for gifts on your birthday, Christmas, or Valentine’s Day. You buy yourself gifts on a daily basis. You Utilize Your Time Alone to Think About New Business Plans During your time alone, you take the opportunity to be innovative and create new ideas for the company. Or if you are just starting out, you use your time alone as a chance to develop new skills in order to move up the ladder. That doesn’t mean you can’t squeeze in time to enjoy yourself and partake in hobbies. Whether it’s sewing a sweater for your grandma, or geeking out on a new video game, you spend some of your solitude having fun. But you never forget to take some time to develop you career skills. And exactly because you are a strong and independent person, you are able to teach yourself new skills.   You Know When to Ask for Help You are not a know-it-all. When you are lost or confused, you know when to ask for help. Asking for help, keeps mistakes from happening or from making things worse. You don’t want to be the one to leave the faucet running, watching the entire place flood, without knowing how to turn it off. If anything, not asking questions makes you the problem. Asking questions doesn’t make you weak and not knowing everything doesn’t make you dumb. You know that and it’s evident in your independent nature. You Share Your Career Success With Others You are a kind and giving person. Your independence allows you to take care of others and let them reap the benefits of all your hard work. You give out extravagant gifts and decorations because you can afford it. You buy your mom the house of her dreams and your dad the nice car he’s always wanted because they instilled in you the motivation to become self-sufficient. You also find time to volunteer and give back to the community that helped craft you into the person you’ve become. You give to others because people gave to you and helped you become the successful person you are. You Are Seen as the Go To Person If you are doing well, people will gladly point it out. You have become the go to person for everything at work because your colleagues know that they can depend on you. You are reliable and hardworking, and everyone knows it. You have been given raises and promotions at every company you’ve worked for and word of your awesomeness has spread. Determination and hard work don’t go unnoticed and that is a pretty good thing. When people see you taking care of your responsibilities and receiving promotions, they congratulate you and admire you. You receive well deserved compliments left and right. And you’ve achieved all these because you’re independent and you like people to rely on you. Being a strong independent person is what everyone should aspire to be. There are a number of benefits to being self-sufficient and able to work alone. There is an immense amount of opportunities open to independent people. When you start to exhibit these signs, new doors will open for you and you will definitely be in a better place in life.  That's a great job for our self......

Yung scenario is, tumugtog na yung pang TITHES AND OFFERING na music. As in saradong sarado yung palad ko. 💯 I share this story of my life to inspire people na, ngayong pandemic na kinakaharap natin, ngayon tayo mas kailangan maging matatag sa FAITH natin kay Lord. We have a BIG GOD. Kaya mula noon hanggang ngayon pinahalagahan ko yung blessing na binibigay Nya sa akin and I make sure to PAY IT FORWARD. Truly FAITH SHOULD BE BIGGER THAN OUR FEAR. 🔥 ALL PRAISE AND GLORY TO GOD ALONE! Amen

How can I help someone with depression? Depression is a serious but treatable disorder that affects millions of people, from young to old and from all walks of life. It gets in the way of everyday life, causing tremendous pain, hurting not just those suffering from it but also impacting everyone around them. If someone you love is depressed, you may be experiencing any number of difficult emotions, including helplessness, frustration, anger, fear, guilt, and sadness. These feelings are all normal. It’s not easy dealing with a friend or family member’s depression. And if you neglect your own health, it can become overwhelming. That said, your companionship and support can be crucial to your loved one’s recovery. You can help them to cope with depression symptoms, overcome negative thoughts, and regain their energy, optimism, and enjoyment of life. Start by learning all you can about depression and how to best talk about it with your friend or family member. But as you reach out, don’t forget to look after your own emotional health—you’ll need it to provide the full support your loved one needs. How to talk to someone about depression......... Sometimes it is hard to know what to say when speaking to someone about depression. You might fear that if you bring up your worries the person will get angry, feel insulted, or ignore your concerns. You may be unsure what questions to ask or how to be supportive. If you don’t know where to start, the following suggestions may help. But remember that being a compassionate listener is much more important than giving advice. You don’t have to try to “fix” your friend or family member; you just have to be a good listener. Often, the simple act of talking face to face can be an enormous help to someone suffering from depression. Encourage the depressed person to talk about their feelings, and be willing to listen without judgment. Don’t expect a single conversation to be the end of it. Depressed people tend to withdraw from others and isolate themselves. You may need to express your concern and willingness to listen over and over again. Be gentle, yet persistent.

Kapag Nanay,mommy,mama kana. Kapag Nanay ka na, maraming matang nakatingin. Lahat sila nagmamasid. Lahat sila may sinasabi. Wag puro matatamis." Kapag payat ang anak, "Bakit ang payat niya?Pakainin mo ng madaming kanin. Painumin mo ng vitamins." Kapag ang mataba ang anak, "Naku, bawas bawasan mo ang pagkain niya. Baka mahighblood agad eh bata pa." Kapag breastfeeding, "Baka nagtitipid." Kapag formula feeding, "Ayaw atang magpadede. Madaming pambili ng gatas." Kapag sobrang alaga sa anak, "Wag mo masyadong selanan. Hayaan mong madumihan. Kelangan niya yan." Kapag hinayaang madumihan, "Ano ba yan, pinapapabayaan." Always remember that YOU are making the best decisions and doing really great, no matter what they think and say. YOU are enough. YOU are the best. YOU are special. Just keep going.

Galvez targets inoculation of all tourism workers by year-end When the pandemic struck, the nation’s tourism sector took a major hit. We believe that in order for the industry to get back on its feet and safely open our economy, we need to vaccinate as many members of our workforce as possible,” said Galvez during the ceremonial vaccination of tourism industry workers in Cebu on Friday, Sept. 24. To help speed up the inoculation of tourism workers, the NTF allocated 20,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines per week for them. The life-saving jabs are seen to benefit not only those who work at hotel and resorts but also the employees in restaurants, airports, and members of the informal economy who are doing business in tourist destinations. According to the Department of Tourism (DOT), there are currently more than five million individuals who are part of the tourism workforce or are employed in tourism-related establishments nationwide. Galvez said the vaccination of tourism workers in major tourist hubs, such as Cebu, will revitalize the economy as they will already be protected against the threat of COVID-19. Around 50 percent of the province’s tourism workers have already been vaccinated and the DOT aims to fully vaccinate 99 percent of the workforce in Cebu before Christmas. From Sept. 1 to 23, a total of 14,798,750 vaccine doses have been delivered to the country. Galvez said 317,144 doses were allocated in Cebu; 60,960 doses in Cebu City; 40,220 doses in Mandaue City; and 29,310 doses in Lapu-Lapu City. A buffer supply of 46,990 doses was also set aside for the province. Meanwhile, Alfred Reyes, president of Hotel Resort and Restaurant Association of Cebu, reaffirmed the group’s commitment to help the government in inoculating 100 percent of employees in the tourism workforce. “Restarting the industry relies on the success of the COVId-19 vaccination campaign which requires individual voluntary participation to reduce the risk of both host and visitors. Vaccination os one of the key factors that can help revive both domestic and international tourism,” Reyes said.

Love, Faith, and Trust ‘Love’, 'Faith' and 'trust' are the most important aspects of a man’s life. You can say they are the spices of his life. Without love a man would be a machine. Love is the potential in man that can metamorphose him into an angel. Love is the message given to mankind by Messiahs. Jesus said “Love your neighbors and hate your enemies.” Faith and Trust the other two divine qualities that make a man great. You must have seen people talk about it so often, but there are very few who practice them. Jesus in his Gospel talks often about faith. According to him if a man has even a grain of faith, he can move mountains with it. Unfortunately people relate faith to some religious aspect. But it is far more than that. Faith actually is silent trust in the Power that has created such a vast and complex universe. Faith is the acknowledgement of the existence of this power and a natural conviction that this Power is good. So people who have true faith, they work miracles. Jesus did all the miracles with faith. So if you are in search of any miracle in your life, it is possible through faith only. The bliss follows the miracle on its own accord! In conclusion it can be said that these three qualities are the power that make the world go. Without them the world would be not half as beautiful. They are the inspiration behind every invention, art, innovation, and betterment of life. We must nurture these divine qualities in us and try to become great human beings.

@Ligaya19

Faith A few years ago, I found myself in a dark place: It was as if nothing was good, and nothing will ever be. It was so dark I thought I lost myself in a battle within me. I felt so helpless and hopeless that I withdrew from everything. My grades in school slipped, my mind wandered to dark places, my friends barely knew who I was, and what has happened to me.I could say that my heart was broken, and maybe, that time, it was. But it wasn’t broken because of a failed relationship, and if that was the case, it wasn’t all of it. I came to a point when hugs, chocolates and ice cream weren’t enough: crying was the only way I can breathe, and cutting was my form of release. I was in such a dark place, that I felt weak and I wanted to surrender everything. I contemplated on death more than I should have. The truth is…well, life’s not fair. We are given so many obstacles that sometimes it seems like we can’t handle them anymore. Even if we can, it was too much drama for us to even want to handle them. We just want them to end. And then one day, the darkness just lifted. See, I realized that no matter how crazy life gets, there are things that can help you through: Faith, Trust and Love.

Family Planning **Family** **planning** services are defined as "**educational**, comprehensive medical or social activities which enable **individuals**, including minors, to determine freely the number and spacing of their children and to select the means by which this may be achieved".[1] Family planning may involve consideration of the number of children a woman wishes to have, including the choice to have no children, as well as the age at which she wishes to have them. These matters are influenced by **external factors** such as marital situation, career considerations, financial position, and any **disabilities** that may affect their ability to have children and raise them. If sexually active, family planning may involve the use of contraception and other techniques to control the timing of **reproduction**. Other aspects of family planning include sex education, prevention and management of sexually transmitted infections, **pre-conception** counseling and management, and **infertility** management.[2] Family planning, as defined by the United Nations and the World Health Organization, encompasses services leading up to conception. **Abortion** is not considered a component of family planning, although access to contraception and family planning reduces the need for abortion.Family planning is sometimes used as a synonym or euphemism for access to and the use of contraception. However, it often involves methods and practices in addition to contraception. **Additionally**, there are many who might wish to use contraception but are not, **necessarily**, **planning** a family (e.g., unmarried adolescents, young married couples delaying childbearing while building a career); family planning has become a catch-all phrase for much of the work undertaken in this realm. **Contemporary** notions of **family planning**, however, tend to place a woman and her childbearing decisions at the center of the discussion, as notions of women's **empowerment** and **reproductive** **autonomy** have gained traction in many parts of the world. It is most usually applied to a **female-male** couple who wish to limit the number of children they have and/or to control the timing of pregnancy (also known as spacing children).Family **planning** has been shown to **reduce teenage** birth rates and birth rates for **unmarried** women. https://www.iomcworld.org/publications.html https://www.iomcworld.org/publications.html''''''''''''''https:/www.iomcworld.org/publications.html''''''''''''''

Me "Heal the past, live the present, and dream the future." I believe that my past makes me who I am today and the future depends on my present life. My life reflects the piano. What I get out of it depends on how I play it. In this journey of my life, I have to overcome many obstacles to be where I am today. Going back on my life, it brings forth a feeling of nostalgia. It seems as if were only yesterday, I was a child and now I am beginning a new milestone in my life. I now look back at those obstacles and smile at all those times that seem so unimportant. Today those memories bring a sign of joy to my life, and a desire to go back. As I aboard a train to take me back in time, all these memories come rushing back to me. I am now looking at my past. I inhale the air of my seventh grade year. It is the air where I learned to overcome my obstacles. Looking back at my seventh grade picture, I see a quiet, shy girl with a lack of confidence and that spend most of her days in solitude, due to her parents inability to let go of her. My shyness and lack of participation in school activities was also in many ways due to my parent's strict rules. I became an outcast of many activities because I was too shy to make friends and too shy to start a conversation. The reason I never rebelled was because of the gratitude, which I had for my dad for putting his happiness aside and thinking of his daughter's well being. Today, I feel that I have come a long way from the quiet reserved girl in junior high. I believe that the turning point in my life was during my eight-grade year, for it was when I began to become independent. I decided that it was time for me to leave my shyness behind and start all over, for I had many more years to come, where my shyness would hinder opportunities that would only come once.

@Ligaya19

Upgrading Your No Over time, as you continue to improve and succeed, your strategy needs to change. The opportunity cost of your time increases as you become more successful. At first, you just eliminate the obvious distractions and explore the rest. As your skills improve and you learn to separate what works from what doesn't, you have to continually increase your threshold for saying yes. You still need to say no to distractions, but you also need to learn to say no to opportunities that were previously good uses of time, so you can make space for great uses of time. It's a good problem to have, but it can be a tough skill to master. In other words, you have to upgrade your “no's” over time. Upgrading your no doesn't mean you'll never say yes. It just means you default to saying no and only say yes when it really makes sense. To quote the investor Brent Beshore, “Saying no is so powerful because it preserves the opportunity to say yes.” The general trend seems to be something like this: If you can learn to say no to bad distractions, then eventually you'll earn the right to say no to good opportunities.

@Ligaya19

Why We Say Yes We agree to many requests not because we want to do them, but because we don't want to be seen as rude, arrogant, or unhelpful. Often, you have to consider saying no to someone you will interact with again in the future—your co-worker, your spouse, your family and friends. Saying no to these people can be particularly difficult because we like them and want to support them. (Not to mention, we often need their help too.) Collaborating with others is an important element of life. The thought of straining the relationship outweighs the commitment of our time and energy. For this reason, it can be helpful to be gracious in your response. Do whatever favors you can, and be warm-hearted and direct when you have to say no. But even after we have accounted for these social considerations, many of us still seem to do a poor job of managing the tradeoff between yes and no. We find ourselves over-committed to things that don't meaningfully improve or support those around us, and certainly don't improve our own lives. Perhaps one issue is how we think about the meaning of yes and no.

@Ligaya19
