Simeona Punsulan-Tapang. Simeona Punsulan-Tapang The only female commander in HukBaLaHap or Hukbong Bayan Laban sa Mga Hapon with a high rank that was left.

She fought the Japanese in the battle of Mandili in Candaba Pampanga in the year 1944 and was the leader of the troops against the enemy in Arayat, Pampanga. Simeona Punsulan-Tapang just recently passed away in 2016.
