Religion
A big word that has caused lot of chaos in the world we are now.
This morning a man called me, his appearance clearly has shown that his religious, a clergyman I'd say, then he told me that it's been days that he's observing me. He went ahead and ask me this very annoying question "why are you wearing a bracelets to mosque and not just that but one of them has a cross sign on it", then I told him it means nothing to me. he went ahead and quoted a Quranic verse that "says it's a sign of those that God will punish because it's says that sign is part of those who said Allah has a child who will eventually end up in hell for that", all these he said doesn't freak me because it's a normal thing, not until he cut them loose then I looked at him then started to nag him. The issue created a scene in the street and the most funniest thing is that he even stood up that what he did was the right thing. The man am speaking about is far more older than me still I stood up and made my point clear that 'religion isn't by accessories or by what people say you should believe in, it's about you doing it from your heart, my people call it *Iman* which means faith the first pillar of being religious. Worshipping God is done in many ways and this is my way and that's what am gonna do'
That's when I took it up that I must try to enlighten us read.cashers on what religion means to me...
What's religion by the way it means "what people believe in, which they regard as holy, sacred, absolute, spiritual, divine, or worthy of especial reverence". It is sometimes regarded as consisting of the way people deal with ultimate concerns about their lives and their fate after death. Meanwhile to me religion isn't just what you worship, neither is it the one that tells you how to be who you are, religion is a part of our life I agree but we do not let it decide us. Religion is what you believe is unique to you being you,what we could sacrifice for at our loose end, religion is relating one's attitude to the broader human natural world... I personally have several religion, to me music is a religion committing my time to it is part of me, ditto making friends everywhere I go at least one. I think we shouldn't allow religion to interrupt our way of communicating with the one who created us. All we know is that we met religion we do not know who created them, sometimes I asked myself this question about religion and its roots where it arose from which always lead me to the ancient religions and belief which include Hinduism, Judaism, Zoroastrianism, Jainism, confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, Shintoism these are the oldest known religion while the popularly known religions are the Christianity and Islamism. there are other religions also including:African religion; Anatolian religion; ancient Iranian religion; Arabian religion; Baltic religion; Buddhism; Calvinism; Celtic religion; Christianity; Confucianism; Daoism; Eastern Orthodoxy; Eastern rite church; Egyptian religion; Finno-Ugric religion; Germanic religion and mythology; Greek religion; Hellenistic religion; Hinduism; Islam; Jainism; Judaism; Mesopotamian religion; Middle Eastern religion; Mormon; mystery religion; Native American religions; Neo-Paganism; new religious movement; Old Catholic church; Orphic religion; prehistoric religion; Protestantism; Protestant Heritage, The; Roman Catholicism; Roman religion and many others.
Many war, conflicts and Chaos has occurred due to religious difference between people but the interesting part is that some still believe in the differentiation
So am here to enlighten us, we should decide religion not the vice versa, let this be clear to you religion was made by some people, we all can connect to God without being religious, it's just a sign of respect and continuity of legacies... Thanks so much for reading
Its so painful and unbelievable
some people do not come to mosque for the sole aim of praying to God. Some come to mosque to steal rob others
it's so painful, this morning my dad woke me the first time he was going to mosque to start the daily 5 compulsory prayers... I unfortunately didn't answer until he came back then he slapped laps and said "get up and go to mosque" then I stood up went to the restroom washed my face and pee. Then I wore my Jalabiya and took my tezbiu. The new slippers I bought the previous week I wore then pick to my heels to the mosque, there I prayed normally like I do daily then few minutes later I went outside to set myself for returning back home there I couldn't find my slippers to me it was a joke I was even playing not until everyone left the mosque I knew that my slippers are gone then I went home told mom and dad they also tried their best finding it, they went to one of the attendant of the mosque who told them "it a normal thing here" Then I made up my mind that the slippers is gone for good then I laid a curse that "whosever took my slippers shall steal until he's caught and embarrassed by the people in public"
Its really painful when something unexpected happens especially from people or places we laid our trust.
A turtle
The above picture is a cartoon turtle painted by me, I used mart paint of the colour brown, lemon and green to paint that it was really fun doing it. I think you should try painting because it's really fun. Now let's get to business let me tell you of the origin of turtle, the first time they were seen on Earth. The earliest known turtle, lived 260 million years ago. That's the first time they showed up on Earth. Now let's know what a turtle is...
A turtle is a land or marine reptile of the order Testudines, characterised by a protective shell enclosing its body which it use as hideout whenever danger appears also as a shelter when it needs some sleep.
Turtle is a very sensitive and wise animal though its slow. Night time stories from our Grandparents has shown that a turtle is wisdom wise and I guess we should all learn from the good attributes of a turtle.
They are known to have been noticed around 260billions years ago during Triassic period. they can't be seen in only one continent which is Antarctic because of the coldness of the place and they are found in all other continents including Asia, Africa, North and South America and Australia...Turtles are ectothermic animal or "cold-blooded animals", meaning that their internal temperature varies with their direct environment, that is their body regulations depends on the temperature of the environment such as sunlight's heat.
Turtle shells are made mostly of bone; the upper part is the domed carapace, while the underside is the flatter plastron or belly-plate. Its outer surface is covered in scales made of keratin, the material of hair, horns, and claws. The carapace bones develop from ribs that grow sideways and develop into the covered shell of the turtle.
Turtles make use of vision to find food and mates, avoid predators, and orient themselves. The retina's light-sensitive cells include both rods for vision in low light, and cones with three different photopigments for bright light, where they have full-color vision. A sea turtle is carnivorous while a land one is a herbivore but most times turtles in general are omnivores.
Turtles are one of the animal who can live for decades of years. The oldest one in our country Nigeria is said to have lived 344 years in Oyo state. The turtle is related to the royal family of Oyo state the Alafin of Oyo.
