When I remember our fierce war, I remember the children, these innocent creatures who paid a price for a sin that them would not enter into them, the children of Syria, many of them lost their father, and many of the children of my country are now displaced and refugees suffering from the harshest conditions of life, what sin did they commit to make their lives like this, the more I remember the war and the children cry Because once I saw a beautiful blonde child with my own eyes who was killed and her body was thrown because of one of the explosions, and I remember the children screaming whenever they hear the sounds of rockets and car bombs. Today we all pray for the peace of civilians and children all over the world. We have a poet who says, Lord, protect the laughter of children, because if it sings in the thirsty sand, it weeds and blooms.
