My Love story that started with NEARGROUP "Will you be my friend?" "Can i court you?" "Will you be my girlfriend?" Being in a serious relationship means being fully ready and committed to someone you love. Being in a relationship doesn't just mean that "HEY I HAVE A BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND" but it instead it means "HEY, IM WITH SOMEONE I SEE THE FUTURE WITH" I've been through some relationship. I have been cheated on, been ghosted and etc. Meaning i have been broken several times. In 2019, i met someone online. There's this thing where you can chat to stranger and it's called "NEARGROUP". Midterms just finished and im just there sitting in my dormitory feeling bored thats why i took my phone and tried Neargroup again after months of not using it. Then i got matched to someone (which is my now boyfriend for almost 3yrs). Right away we matched. I remember him asking me 3 questions. The first one was " WILL YOU BE MY FRIEND?" he asked me that before asking me to add him on facebook.

After that We talked alot until 4am. We sleep while the call is ongoing. Well just FYI i wasn't that attractive im chubby and have a alot of flaws. A week passed we decided to meet in a mall near my home. He came and i saw him sitting on the food court. Came to him and we smiled at each other. He then lead me to the hypermarket and the first thing he started to look for was the STIC-O. Which is a wafer stick. Im like why STIC-O and he told me that he remember me saying days before we meet that I forgit to buy stic-o to eat with the cream stixx that i bought and that moment i told myself i just fell for this guy. It's really the little things that got us. After he buys me tons and tons of snacks he asked me if i was hungry and boy yes i am. LOL. We walked straight to Mang Inasal which is a famous fast-food in the philippines where they serve freshly grilled chicken and unlimited rice. On the counter i insisted on paying the meal. Coz girll im raised with equality. If he buys the snack I'll pay for whatever is next. Coz i know that we're both still a student and that im a girl yes but im no less than a man. Im not with him for the free stuffs. So moving on. We went to the cinema after watched a horror film which is a horrible choice lol but ofc i loved the moment because i was with him. We then go straight away to our local church. Then we sat to a park we talked and he's like hey why are you not looking at my eyes while we're talking. Lol booy coz im shy. But I didn't said that and im like because that's how im used to. But after he said that i tried my best to look at his eyes and oh boy i fell even harder. A month after we've been flirting alot with each other lmao. On chat ofcourse because he lives on the City and i live in province. There's this line that i told him that always makes me laugh when i remember. Him: ikaw kaya madaming crush ( you have a lot of crush) Me: luh hindi kaya isa nga lang crush ko eh! ( Nope, i only have 1 crush) Him: weh di nga. San ba crush mo sapakan kami lol ( oh really, where's your crush. Ill have a match with him) Me: asan kaba? ( Where are you) Him: sa bahay (at home) Me: oh andun sa kanila( he's at home) Him: HAHAHAHAH -kinikilig- (hoity toity) Me: screaming internally- lmao Anyway our 2nd date was when he went to my university to watch my team's football match. Note that we're only friends by that time. He bought me munchkins and water. While i was in the middle of the field while having a warm up. It started raining so hard and the match was cancelled. I looked on the side to see him standing with an umbrella with my dorm mate lol. I was a little jealous. I looked away and so everyone in the field running to the covered court. I was looking at the ground and running. I suddenly bumped to someone and when i looked up i saw his face while holding the umbrella askkkkdhsjs sorry kinikilig nanaman. He hugged me then we both went to the covered court. Since the match is cancelled it's time to go home. I heard a lot of school mates saying SANA ALL which means hope all haha. After that we went to sky ranch pampanga. Where we ride the ferris wheel. The unexpected happened while we're in the ferris wheel. That's when he dropped the second question " CAN I COURT YOU?" I was too shocked and blushing to gave a decent answer ans i just blurted out "LUHHH LANTOD" ( Flirttt) After that we had to go home he hugged me for the first time while waiting for the bus. At home he texted me that he was a little disappointed/ sad something because all i said was that. Then i told him it means yes and i was just shy that time. After that he started courting me and we met in SM North just when i entered the mall i saw him he run towards me and again surprised me by dropping the third question not letting me even sit or anything Hahahah. He asked me "will you be my girlfriend?" I was os shocked again and i just kept walking not saying a word and he's like "heyyyy..." I stayed silent for about 3 minutes and i just said YES. We became official. Went to a lot of dates and sleep overs gala galore for the past years.

Now we're in a relationship for 2 years and 4 months. It's been a roller coaster ride. It's not always happy and easy. Well i guess that how a relationship is supposed to be. He met my parents already and i met his. I could say that we are in a very serious relationship. And i will be forever thankful to NEARGROUP because of it. I met my destiny.
