Some time ago, an action of awarding free ash seedings was organized under the name "Plant your shade". The most responsible minicipalites, 160 of them, applied, and my city is not among them. Obviously, the mayor does not listen to something that everyone needs, and that is oxygen, a natural respirator. Instead, they cut down trees in many streets. Maybe they think it's enough for us to have a few nature parks. If the city leaders had given money for free, they would have been the first to apply and probably keep a part for themselves because they are not interested in the well being of the citizen in the officially most indebted city in the country. Trees are a source of good mood and many studies indicate the importance of afforestation of the city center because they have a positive effect on happiness, reduce stress, and alleviate sadness. There a many reasons to plant your shade. The region where i live is rich in forests, but that is not the case with the city because they have cut down a lot.
