The War on Sirius B - Part 2 (Fiction) She slammed the door and rushed out into the pouring rain. Her mind could not forget the last words Tony whispered in her ears while all the others were arguing about the upcoming bootcamp. It’s been two decades since Marshall left the group and what once used to be an extraordinary facility has turned into a decadent place where fancy egos prevailed. Discipline, perseverance and respect were unknown ingredients to newcomers who participated in battles for the sole purpose of entertainment. *Is there really no one out there willing to question the decisions of the Grand Federation anymore?* She folded her hakama bringing back the memories of the good old times when her team joined Marshall to fight for the new galactic species that were banned from their home planet. It was a highly strategic fight which required sophisticated maneuvering techniques very few were familiar with. Marshall had an exquisite sense of intuition and his level of precision was admired by the board members of the federation. *Did they call him in?* *“Bravery … How uncanny of me to think of it in times of great despair”* murmured Vhal while closing the doors of her high-tech wardrobe that resembled a vertical operating table. When turning around she saw Admiral DeverX approach her station. *“Captain Vhal, your team got decimated during the last battle. How do you intend to replace your squad? The Sirians won’t let you flee next time. Or maybe, you’re pushing the boundaries so that you can join the likes of your deserted Admiral friend Marshall? You better not give me a reason to ground you.* *Dismissed.”* Vhal turned around and entered the playing field. Her team was training with the new laser swords that got shipped the night before from Lyra. The Lyrians have used their teleporting capabilities to swipe the latest technologies from the Cougars who were well known in the galaxy for their sharp tech skills. The Lyrians were acting neutral in the war, however they didn’t shy away from sending battle ships and equipment to all parties involved. *“How long until the next fight, Captain?”* someone shouted from across the field. *“We’re leaving tonight. Make sure the ships are ready to depart at 10 PM.”* Vhal responded and closed the door behind her. She headed to the elevators that took her upstairs for a quick rest. Once she was in her room, she swiped her left iris to bring up a private connection to Enik. *“They know about Marshall. I’m leaving tonight with four teams. The Lyrians were gracious enough to send me two new ships. Will report back after my meetup with the Council.”* *The War on Sirius B - Part 2 - Original Story by Krisz Rokk* Facing the Council wasn’t an easy task. Without their approval, you weren’t allowed to attack another planet even if it meant retrieving territories that previously belonged to your species. It was up to Vhal to convince them that a new alliance with the Sirians would benefit the galaxy. Understanding the interplanetary dynamics required a vast knowledge of space and more importantly, a deep comprehension of DNA structures across species. *“Captain Vhal, you may step forward. It’s been a while. What’s your request today?”* To be continued ... 💎💎💎 Krisz Rokk 💎💎💎 ___________________________________ If you missed the previous episodes ... **The War on Sirius B - Part 1** https://peakd.com/hive-199275/@kriszrokk/the-war-on-sirius-b Creative art: AI-generated images by Daniela S. via Midjourney https://www.midjourney.com/ Originally published on the Hive blockchain at @kriszrokk https://hive.blog/hive-199275/@kriszrokk/the-war-on-sirius-b-606b18a4f7dce

The Tower (Original Poetry) They emerged out of nowhere like mushrooms making their way after a rainy day showing their spectacular armors above the city’s dust rushing brave warriors to readjust.   While enjoying the prolonged arms of the February sun a bridge of thoughts and feelings rushed through my spine clearing my vision, enabling my soul to confine a love so deep it could trigger the divine.   Her majestic appearance shook the sky turning grey shadows into blue lines chains intertwined keeping curios eyes from seeing the amazing beauty that lies behind.   Guarded by angels with their inter-dimensional power some used the river to access the secret tower only to find themselves playing games at every single encounter.   Rose petals and poppy fields call for an earthly designer who understands the magic of both landscapes close to each other It makes you wonder why lifting the veil is so inflammable when entertaining this show sedates participants into becoming irrational.   The illusion of time continues to mesmerize the human mind clogging the path that leads to the heart a carousel of madness meant to keep the two apart as separate forces that co-exist in a purposeless life.   Don’t let fear alter your state and make you blind as no castle, tower or bridge can revive your inner child stay curious on your journey through life allow the universe to unfold in front of your eyes.   💎💎💎 Krisz Rokk 💎💎💎 Creative art: AI-generated image by Daniela S. via Midjourney https://www.midjourney.com/ Originally published on the Hive blockchain at **@KriszRokk** https://ecency.com/hive-161465/@kriszrokk/the-tower-original-poetry

The Gift (Fiction) Lisa could hardly breathe while she was scrolling and reading the long message she received. Sweat was pouring down her arms and an unpleasant heat covered her chest forcing her internally to scream *“Don’t. Please, don’t”*. She met Tim a few months ago on a retreat and they immediately clicked. It was an instant attraction Lisa never felt towards anybody before. All her cells were vibrating on a higher frequency and the universe seemed to have delivered to her the perfect mate. But Tim was sick, the doctors only gave him a couple more months to live. Despite the diagnosis, Lisa fell for Tim and they had the time of their lives. Then the harsh reality kicked in and Tim had to be taken to the hospital. No day would pass by without Lisa to visit him. She wanted to quit her job at the post office and stay with Tim but due to his severe complications, doctors advised her to keep her job and come as often as she could to visit him as she wasn’t allowed to stay there several hours next to him. Lisa would come and read comic books to Tim. They discovered this common hobby at the retreat and since they’ve spent every evening reading passages from different books for entertainment. It has become more than a ritual, it was an integral part of their relationship which both valued very much. Nobody understood the meaning of time as a precious commodity better than Lisa and Tim. They would cherish every single second they spent together. Nature was their biggest friend. They would lay on a blanket for hours, listening to birds singing and trees whispering. An innocent love, so pure and yet so fragile was about to merge between two dimensions. Before passing into the invisible one, Tim has drafted a beautiful love letter for Lisa. It was his last wish to his brother, asking him to pass this letter as a digital message to Lisa two weeks after the funeral. Lisa has worked at the post office for nearly thirty years. The whole town knew her for her friendly smile and kind words. She was always on time and when the recipient didn’t get a letter or parcel on time, she would go out of her way to do whatever it takes so that the client received the letter or package. She was one of the most respected people in the entire community. However, Lisa was more than just a simple worker at the post office. She had a miraculous gift of writing stories for children. She never revealed her talent to anybody nor did she ever speak about it. She was so afraid of rejection especially from those parents who had children and would put her down as a writer because she didn’t have a family, that she never went ahead to publish any of her amazing works. This disempowering belief held her back all her life. Until now. The only person Lisa confessed about her gift was Tim. Knowing that he’s on a quicker transit through life due to his illness provided the necessary safety net for her to confine in him. And so she did. She even showed her collection of creative writing to Tim and allowed him to read out loud a couple of her stories. *“These are amazing Lisa. You have to publish them. Children will devour these adventures. They will absolutely adore the places you’re taking them”* said Tim after reading the stories. This is when Lisa grabbed the papers out of his hands and told him, she would never want to talk about this subject again. But Tim never forgot this event and he wanted to make sure Lisa overcomes her fear and finally shares her beautiful gift with the world. That’s why he made sure he included this wish in his last message. It was raining heavily outside the bookstore but the door couldn’t be kept closed as more and more people were coming for the reading. Five years have passed since Tim’s death and Lisa had published her third volume of children’s stories. She was looking at the crowd that gathered in front of her reading desk when a little tear made its way down her left cheek. Gratitude filled her heart as she released a murmur of happiness: *“Thank you Tim. It was a blessing having you in my life”*. 💎💎💎 Krisz Rokk 💎💎💎 Creative art: AI-generated image by Daniela S. via Midjourney https://www.midjourney.com/ Originally published on the Hive blockchain at **@KriszRokk**. https://leofinance.io/@kriszrokk/the-gift-fiction

Branding (Original Poetry) I was walking down the streets holding a picture of you in my head when an obscure creature crossed my path inviting me to join his teachings.   They knew me in the other realm for what I used to carve in human minds some appreciated the divine art while others shied away with distrust.   First I focused on blue colors using marbles with sparkles attracting the logic with a cold structure building the foundation without disruption.   A pivotal moment, very subtle sending shock waves through my sculpture rewiring the fortress of the castle creating new thinking pathways and disjuncture.   Next followed a black and white cocktail splashed with red diamonds polarizing the scenery while also sending strong signals of alliance.   The business was thriving transforming hardship into kindness enabling misfits to act like magnets in a world of blissful oddness.   💎💎💎 Krisz Rokk 💎💎💎 Creative art: AI-generated image by Daniela S. via Midjourney https://www.midjourney.com/ Originally published on the Hive blockchain at @KriszRokk. https://ecency.com/hive-161465/@kriszrokk/branding-original-poetry

The Facebook Account Suspension Game **Have you ever violated Facebook’s community standards or their ever changing terms and conditions without knowing exactly what you did wrong? Welcome to the Facebook account suspension game. You can join this club from anywhere in the world, at anytime. Obviously, you need to have a Facebook account in order to participate in this funny adventure.** I joined the Meta ecosystem aka the world of the former Facebook spider back in 2011. The beginnings were nothing short of crazy as we were all kind of clueless trying to navigate something called a “social media platform”. Furthermore, I was among the early adopters and fortunate ones to run those juicy ads that got tons of clicks. Phenomenal times for all pros and nerdy insiders who deployed the Power Editor to better configure the ads and squeeze the most buck out of the traffic. Back than, corporations and big businesses actively indoctrinated their employees to stay away from Facebook. It was new, innovative and therefore very dangerous according to their specialists. It took these “intelligent” entities almost a decade to pour money into the system and they did so because Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Co. have become too big to ignore. **Control is Sweet** What started out as a colorful and creative playground for individuals, solo entrepreneurs and small business owners has slowly but surely been taken hostage by the big guys. Those who don’t abide to the mainstream narrative that is being cleverly propagated by the tentacles of the dark blue octopus are forced to exit. More so, often times, the gates are closed without any wrong doing of the user holding the account. Now that is centralized power on steroids. Three years ago I left the Meta party and joined the world of decentralized **blockchain** marketing. This meant: https://www.strengthinbusiness.com/category/blockchain/ No more Zucks rules and guidelines that get updated and changed on a day to day basis. No entity with a headquarter that controls your assets (e.g. creative writing, videos, podcast show or artwork). No fact checkers and machines that decide what type of content you’re allowed to post, read and comment on. Staying on a megalithic ship that was cruising on a fixed pathway was never my thing. I don’t like restrictions and patterns of limited features that are sold to the end user as highly valuable particles in exchange for their personal data. Critical thinking and asking uncomfortable questions were never designed for the guests of these cruisers. Those who dare to ascend the ladder of consciousness are expunged without explanation. Such is the exit story of many kindred spirits who were brave enough to find other, more beautiful and respectable shores. “**We Suspended Your Facebook Account”** What a gorgeous message to start or end the day, isn’t it? Well, I got this message a few weeks back. Actually, I got the message twice. The second time only a few hours after my account was unlocked by the powers to be in Silicon Valley. The reason for being locked out of my account was supposedly due to the fact that I violated Facebook’s community standards. What exactly had happened? For the past three years I’ve not accessed my personal Facebook account. I use the Business Manager every two weeks to check some client work for less then ten minutes and that’s about it. Recently though I’ve changed the operating system on my main Mac from macOS to Linux and accessed the Business Manager from the newly installed OS. That triggered in my opinion this entire cascade. Only a few hours later my Facebook account was suspended. Obviously, I disagreed with the decision and by the next day I got an email informing me to go through some random checks and confirm that the account belongs to me. FYI, my account is secured by 2FA using a hardware key. Cracking that requires some pretty decent knowledge unless you do it from within the Facebook ecosystem. It didn’t take long though to get my account suspended for the second time. A few hours later and I saw myself going through the same time-consuming ritual. This is when I reached out to Facebook live support which turned out to be a ridiculous mix of AI and human communication line. Starting a live chat and being served the “You violated the community standards” phrase was idiotic at best. This is when I informed the person on the other side to go ahead and wipe out my account so that we can finish this debacle once and for all. I guess they’re not used to getting these kind of replies from their addicted users. A day later somebody from Facebook reached out to me apologizing for the mistake and reinstating my account. *For how long you might ask?* Therein lies the essence of what I’m about to share with you as my final thoughts. Handing over our assets to a centralized entity turns us into “modern slaves” – for a lack of appropriate words. When we build our property on Facebook land we don’t own the keys. We therefore willingly give away our most precious commodity which is time. The Facebook octopus is a deceptive and yet genius alchemist that knows how to turn time into behavioral data, repackage this gift and sell it for epic amounts of money. **The veil has been lifted and it’s up to us to decide wisely. Those who continue to cruise along and enjoy Meta’s limited “free” world are welcome to do so. For those of you willing to hold the keys and stay in control of your assets, see you on the decentralized spectrum of blockchain social platforms.** Image by Pixabay on Pexels https://www.pexels.com/@pixabay/ https://www.pexels.com/photo/egg-power-fear-hammer-40721/ Originally published on my blog at StrengthInBusiness.com https://www.strengthinbusiness.com/the-facebook-account-suspension-game/

The Dreamchaser (Fiction) She entered the meeting room, poured herself a delicious cup of coffee and walked over to the window. Emily had joined the board a few years back as a loyal member of the founders of the company. Things have changed though since Jarred sold his share of the family business to an overseas investor who was in the game to make a quick return. The company used to have a kindergarten and an after-school facility in the basement enabling families to visit their little ones during breaks while feeling at ease at work knowing that their children are being looked after by highly-qualified and kind teams. The founders knew that the better their employees feel at their workspace, the better the results and the higher the profitability of the company. Obviously, this initiative wasn’t in the best interest of the new investor which led him to close down these facilities in a frenzy of cutting costs. Instead of hearing laughter and looking at children playing on the playground, Emily was staring down on an empty lot poorly decorated with a couple of grey benches and a table that was supposed to attract elderly who like to play chess. Ten more minutes until the room was filled with those attending. Emily grabbed a chair, sat down and closed her eyes while enjoying the amazing aroma of her first coffee this morning. Memories flooded her conscious mind taking her back to thirty some years ago. *“Mister Bondai is waiting for you. Thank you for coming early.”* said one of Mister Bondai’s main secretaries. Emily walked across the hallway into Mister Bondai’s office accompanied by the friendly secretary who swiftly closed the door behind her. *“So you’re Miss Gordon. Charlie speaks highly of you. I see you’ve been with McNeal’s for the last five years. What brings you to us? Why should I entrust my finances with you?”* *“You shouldn’t Mister Bondai. You should never let me or anybody else for that matter, control the financial statement of your company. I want to start my own business in a few years down the line and I thought learning from somebody like you who built an empire would be utterly beneficial.”* replied Emily in a confident tone. *“Hm … I like your attitude young lady. Tell me, how would you set up your company when the time is ripe?”* Mr. Bondai asked curiously. *“That’s one of the essential ingredients I intend to learn from you Sir.”* said Emily. Emily was in Mr. Bondai’s office for three hours. It was the longest and most warmhearted conversation she ever had with a human being. The business tycoon became her mentor and when he passed away Emily took over the finances of the company. It was Mr. Bondai’s last wish for Emily to continue the business trajectory his dear grandparents established. A teardrop awakened Emily’s left cheek increasing the sorrow and pain she felt in her heart. Closing those children facilities was the hardest thing she had to do since joining the world of business. Furthermore, blaming the investor for this decision was the wrong approach. The day had come for her irresistible offer. She felt she owed it to Mr. Bondai and more importantly, to herself. Her mentor prepared her for this day. Working alongside Mr. Bondai, attending business meetings with his executives and ultimately being chosen as a member of the board gave her the opportunity to look behind the curtains. She knew the ins and outs of this empire. She gave up on her own dream to be the creative force behind a unique brand that represented everything she ever stood for. No more compromises. No more settlements. No more negotiations. Just a few more minutes until she could finally inform everyone that she holds the keys to the empire she always wanted to build. *“Good morning. As of today, we are adding a dream board accessible to all employees who dare to share their dreams with the company. Please enable everyone willing to play along, to add one dream only and explain the main reason why they’re chasing it.* *A wise man once told me to never ever give up on the one dream.* *Let the hunt begin!”* 💎💎💎 Krisz Rokk 💎💎💎 Creative art: AI-generated images by Daniela S. via Midjourney https://www.midjourney.com/ Originally published on the Hive blockchain at **@KriszRokk**. https://ecency.com/hive-199275/@kriszrokk/the-dreamchaser-fiction

Invaded (Original Poetry) He acted like a clown in the garden while a may bug was pleasantly tickling the calves making his way up like a courageous warden eager to explore new cavities that erupted in his heart’s valves.   A secret space invaded by spiders devouring veins like ferocious snipers maneuvering along slim channels looking for tenacious survivors who could reveal the names of the insiders.   Once infiltrated the heart went into survival calling for help from rival energy cycles minimizing the damage caused by a former disciple who once protected this beautiful castle.   Hijacking the mind would be a disaster so they sent a shockwave through the system to awaken a deep desire while causing a massive disruption in a mission set out to trigger the volcano to spit fire.   Silence filled the void of ephemeral nuances lights forming patterns to encapsulate the infinite building concave structures that convey dynamism shaping an elastic movement to ignite humanism.   It beats again! Let’s celebrate! The Machine (Fiction) Covered by leaves and little tree branches, he laid there barely moving for ten hours when he decided to take a sneak peak and hide behind a bigger tree. The forest was the closest place he could run to hide when Mr. Andrews released the machines the very first time. This memory stuck with Mike for all these years and when the story repeated itself, he knew the forest would be a great place to look for shelter. The one thing the machines hated most were wet leaves covered in mud. Their tentacle-like extremities would distort the rotor and bring the machine to halt. It was a tough but valuable lesson Mike learned on his very first encounter with one of these peculiar, inhumane creatures. Mount Penra used to be a peaceful little town with friendly people who would give their souls for the community to thrive. One day a well-dressed gentleman from far away visited the town and since then, nothing has been the same anymore. Mr. Andrews came to attend a funeral of a far distant relative who passed away and found in Mount Penra the perfect place for his new factory. He could finally start anew without anyone knowing anything about his background and what he used to do before. Eventually it might come out but until then, he could build something big enough and make tens of people dependent from the jobs he was offering, thus making it insurmountably more difficult for the mayor or any other government official to kick him out of their town so easily. Fifty eight people were working at MaBa for Mr. Andrews. They were assembling parts for machines but the employees never got to see the final product. Everybody knew Mr. Andrews was a tech-savvy person with good manners but nobody sensed the ambiguous intentions this gentleman was hiding behind his tender personality which turned out to be extremely demonic. Mike was a little boy when Mr. Andrews’ first prototype somehow escaped from the facilities and went out to destroy everything and everyone that got in its way. Not many people knew about the incident cause Mr. Andrews guards where quick to catch the prototype and deactivate it before he had done more damage to the things and people living in this town. Luckily nobody got injured and only a couple of cars had severe damages the owners of which got paid out fairly quickly and nicely by Mr. Andrews the very next morning after the incident. Nobody talked about this incident. The local paper didn’t write about it and the radio didn’t report about it either. Not even the employees at MaBa knew what had happened that evening after they left the factory. Clearly Mr. Andrews didn’t want any bad press about his business so he moved swiftly ensuring everybody kept quiet. What escaped the businessman was a ten year old boy who has seen the machine in action. Mike was actually chased by this strange looking metallic thing deep down into the forest while giving out strange noises. Fortunately for Mike, the guards who deactivated the prototype that night were so engrained in their task that they didn’t notice the boy. Thirty plus years later and the story was repeating itself again; at least for Mike. As a forty-two year old man, he now had to distract an even more advanced prototype to follow him into the forest so that the machine doesn’t take out his beloved family. Mr. Andrews had enough time to experiment on his models and was convinced that one day, he could finally reveal his fantastic invention to the world and everybody would be excited. What he didn’t envision though, was a machine so clever, it could program itself to perform certain activities without being powered on by a computer or chip. It would use the properties of photosynthesis and recharge itself without the need of an electrical cord or a conventional power source. Basically, the prototype learned all the algorithms and reprogrammed itself according to new variables without the knowledge of his master. Who could stop the machine this time around? Mike knew instantly he was dealing with an upgrade. The machine looked more sophisticated, it had way more buttons, moved significantly faster and more smoothly. Furthermore, there were no noises being released while he was walking, running or engaging in other activities such as demolition. Suddenly a metal clutch grabbed Mike from behind and threw him on the ground. The machine used one of his tentacle-like feet and stepped on him while turning his head left and right as if waiting for further instructions. What followed next was quite intriguing. A little door on the right side of the machines opened up and a little screen appeared with the following writing in red: *“Run.”* Mike looked at the machine, managed to quickly release himself and roll out underneath his feet. He got up swiftly and started running without ever looking back. Only when he felt safe did he turn around to see whether this metallic box was chasing him or not. But there was no sign of the machine, nothing. After the incident, Mike went straight to the police and reported everything. Despite all the good Mr. Andrews has done for the community by providing well paid jobs for so many people, he was asked to close the factory and leave Mount Penra. Years passed by and there wasn’t a weekend Mike would not gather friends and volunteers to go into the forest to hunt down the machine. But they never found it. Not the slightest piece of metal, no parts, no electronic cables, not anything. The machine was gone forever and not a soul would ever find it. *Could a machine like that become an integral part of a laboratory or a new factory without the owner and the workers noticing it?* 💎💎💎 Krisz Rokk 💎💎💎 Creative art: AI-generated image by Daniela S. via Midjourney https://www.midjourney.com/ Originally posted on the Hive blockchain at @KriszRokk https://ecency.com/hive-199275/@kriszrokk/the-machine-fiction

The War on Sirius B - Part 1 (Fiction) His skin could absorb huge amounts of radiation which enabled him to walk for hours in the midst of the day when the sun seamed to melt all the surroundings. Enik’s vibrant and crystal clear blue eyes were shimmering while he walked across the boulevard greeting two neighbors who rushed to the other side of the road. It must have been two decades since Enik’s family descended from Sirius B due to an interplanetary war that erupted between rivaling federations. The spaceship landed on Gaia to drop the four of them off before it headed to another planet in the galaxy. Enik and his three younger siblings were acquainted with the Multiverse. They understood the notion of space and time better than any human could possibly grasp. The community was comprised of a couple thousand people. Most of them worked in agriculture, growing their own food and taking care of animals. They used to gather fresh produce in a van that was parked twice a week outside the city town hall and a driver would transport those juicy, organic fruits and vegetables to the market in the city close by. These were simple people living simple lives. When Enik, Maya, Toruk and Zendo showed up that day at Fred and Martha’s farm all dressed up in their blue uniforms which made their blue eyes pop even stronger the two 60-year-olds looked at each other surprised. *“How did you Smurfs end up on my porch?”* was all Fred could say when staring at these blue characters. *“What’s a Smurf?”* replied Maya looking at her brothers. Being the oldest prince of the Phtalys royal family, Enik knew about Gaia’s level zero civilization and its inhabitants. He always wondered why someone would volunteer to come here. He replied confidently and respectfully: *“My name is Enik and these are my siblings. We attended the carnival and thought it would be fun to keep these clothes on for a few more days.”* *“Hm … So what exactly is it that you want from us?”* said Fred while continuing to stare at the four strangers. *“I noticed you’re growing wonderful vegetables on your field. We wanted to ask you whether you could offer us a fresh tomato or carrot juice, or point us towards someone where we could buy these from?”* continued Enik. Fred looked at him surprised and replied: *“Last Thursday we sold ten bottles of tomato juice to Mr. Barney who owns a store in the city. His van is parked outside the shop. Maybe he has a few more bottles left for you to purchase.”* It was the last time Fred and Martha sold their vegetable juices to Mr. Barney. During the past twenty years “the Smurfs” as Fred liked to call Enik and his siblings became their only customer. Nobody understood what these foreigners were doing with all the vegetable juices they were purchasing from the surrounding farmers and they couldn’t care less as the payment they were receiving was twice as much as Mr. Barney used to pay them for the same produce. Enik rushed into the house and gathered his siblings around him. *“Zendo, we need to leave now! The war is over and dad wants us to take over part of his kingdom. Unfortunately, Maya and Toruk, you’ll have to stay here until Zendo and I sign the contracts. We’ll get you out of here as soon as we’re in charge of our sub-planets.”* A small tear rolled down on Maya’s cheek while she was looking at Enik and Zendo swiftly embark the vessel. Toruk stayed in the house making sure nobody peaked into their back yard while his brothers left Gaia. *“How long until we can finally get rid of these nasty human clothes once and for all?”* said Maya frustrated when facing his brother Toruk. Love to Drive (Original Poetry) Living, breathing, squeezing the juice out of life is all I can think of when faced with the illusion of death.   He was kind gentle humble but then he left quickly out of the blue without noise leaving us wondering why rose petals grow.   Tender his voice when telling jokes laughing wholeheartedly sharing his smile with all of us folks. An innocent soul inspiring us all while passing swiftly through this world.   A great teacher I would recall nudging me to aspire for more. Release the brakes, learn to switch between fast and slow, a mind so sharp can ignite the core. Driving through life should follow a flow that runs through your veins bypassing the ego.   Don’t be shy spin the wheels empty the battery and explore the wind. It was a great race I could hear him shout from across the street leaning on his car window excited, totally pleased.   One day I’ll join you for another spin Mr. V. until then, rest in peace.   💎💎💎 Krisz Rokk 💎💎💎   **In loving memory of Mr. V.❤️, who taught me to drive.** Creative art: AI-generated image by Daniela S. via Midjourney https://www.midjourney.com/ Originally published on the Hive blockchain at @KriszRokk. https://hive.blog/hive-161465/@kriszrokk/love-to-drive-original-poetry

The Lessons We Need Are in the Tasks We Avoid **Writing a novel, applying for a particular job, asking that beautiful girl out, selling the old stuff from the garage … Fear wears many masks and layers. It’s a master of disguise. Most people will do whatever it takes to avoid pain without acknowledging the fact that on the other side of it lies freedom and opportunity.** **Life** is all about experiences. We experience life and we express everything we feel, touch and smell. Sometimes we do it in the open, other times we lock it deep down inside of us, guarding it like a precious treasure. https://www.strengthinbusiness.com/your-life-is-a-battle-with-your-mind/ We define containers, set rules and seldom question principles and laws that have been passed down to us for generations. When life knocks us from our path, we pause and reflect, blame and victimize or take full responsibility for the actions we took or lack thereof. After a while some get back on the same track, others choose or pave a new road bathing in endless possibilities they pull like a vortex from the unknown. *What lessons are waiting for us on the other side of the realm?* **Avoiding Pain at All Cost** The feeling of being rejected is deeply engrained in our human mind. The pain and suffering that we associate with rejection is carefully carved into our cells from an early age. We get punished for making mistakes instead of being guided to discover meaningful lessons that are connected with these experiences. Another set of standards most don’t dare to question. And so we live our lives running away from false associations and wonder why we’re not enjoying the journey. While bliss and abundance is all around us, we narrow our focus consciously or subconsciously, blending out the beauty of the present moment where everything is possible. Like a broken car on the highway we stop for fuel, look around and dream of that “one day” that for most of us never comes. So we hit the road again frustrated and feeling pity for our sorry little lives without understanding that the power to change in an instant lies in us. Instead of wandering shoeless clueless through life looking for the outside to determine how we feel on the inside, we should reverse engineer the process and configure the outside according to what we want on the inside. *What if I don’t want to be a doctor, lawyer or engineer like my parents and teachers suggested but go to art school and design my own clothing brand instead?* *What if I don’t want to join the corporate world but build my own business?* *What if I don’t want to marry and have children but go on an expedition to explore other planets in the galaxy?* *What if …..* **The Other Side of Nothing** Have you ever noticed that when you run away from fear or avoid pain, everything kind of multiplies and hits you tenfold when you least expect it? Wouldn’t it be wise therefore to learn to dance with fear and pain without allowing them to dominate or control your life? Life is energy. Pain, fear, suffering, joy, love, gratitude etc. are all sources of energy. The question is how to transform the sources we consider negative into a positive experience. One of the most proficient ways is to open our hearts and allow that inner child to express its creativity. The frameworks, pathways and adventures it picks might pleasantly surprise you. **A pure, innocent and loving intelligence that is invited to shape our future sees beyond the daily show we try to put up. Coming from a good place is all that’s required for it to help us unleash our hidden potential and talents.** Image by Los Muertos Crew on Pexels https://www.pexels.com/@cristian-rojas/ https://www.pexels.com/photo/happy-woman-in-gray-sweater-6836519/ Originally published on my blog at StrengthInBusiness.com https://www.strengthinbusiness.com/the-lessons-we-need-are-in-the-tasks-we-avoid/

Awakening the Alien (Original Poetry) I laid dormant for decades waiting for the host to be ready to finally release me into the open.   I waited patiently gaining more knowledge continuing to accumulate power to make my appearance count.   Years would pass by without notice an inner crumbling designed to strengthen what was once lost.   A love so deep it caused bleeding fleeing memories captured by spirit suffocated emotions and feelings disempowering beliefs fueling a habit.   Experiences colliding in seconds forming a kaleidoscope of colorful patterns explosions of energies tickling the quantum yearning to provoke an answer. A strong mind reaching out to help me allowing sound and music to activate me the heart sending shockwaves of light enabling the feminine to awaken me.   Tears of joy and kindness celebrating my appearance a peaceful calmness surrounds me until next time my brave soul, stay open-minded.   💎💎💎 Krisz Rokk 💎💎💎 Creative art: AI-generated images by @ifeherart via Midjourney https://hive.blog/@ifeherart https://www.midjourney.com/ Originally published on the Hive blockchain at @KriszRokk https://hive.blog/hive-161465/@kriszrokk/awakening-the-alien-original-poetry

Two is One (Fiction) A vast space. Emptiness all around me. I continue to follow the instructions sending energy upwards to lighten up the brain. The overflowing impulse of a heart full of love impacts the quantum field generating beautiful patterns in the ether calling for like-vibrating souls to bound. Coherence has become a magical word in the spiritual realm. It is a state that triggers the mystic to perform at its peak. Time for the analytical mind to rest and unlock the hidden potential of the subconscious. A phenomenal white party is taking place in my head. Lights everywhere I look. I’m trying to pick up a sound but no signs of music. It looks like a perfectly coordinated team of handpicked drummers are hitting tiny light bulbs performing a spectacular show. *Am I hallucinating? Is this real?* Suddenly I notice a gorgeous brain approaching me from afar. She looks elegant, sophisticated. We’re vibrating at the same frequency. I bow down and ask the ultimate question: *“Would you like to dance with me?”*. She gives me an innocent look and says *“Yes”* with a gorgeous smile. Imagine two minds working as one, charging and complementing each other while dancing in the void of infinite possibilities surrounded by nothing but vasts amount of space. All of a sudden my heart starts pumping stronger picking up another signal. It’s a handsome heart approaching and asking for permission to enter my field. I say *“yes”* and switch all of my attention onto this scenery. He wears an impeccable suit with a fabulous red fly. His blue eyes filled with warmth and infinite love invite me to let down my guard and open up. A level of trust unknown to earthly feelings pushes me into his arms saying *“yes”* intuitively to a question he intended to ask. *“Would you like to dance?”* he whispers softly into my ears while holding me tightly and guiding us to the biggest dance floor in the universe. Two hearts beating as one, sharing love, romance and compassion with the planets disguised as marvelous bouquets of flowers. In a multi-dimensional realm without time I finally feel whole. No physical body to take care of. No ego that blurs opportunities and overshadows who I truly am. Loneliness is unknown here. Frequency and vibrations attract the perfect dancing partner like magnets desperately waiting to bond so that they can release the energy needed for growth. I hear noise in the back of my head. A student has dropped a book while rushing through the corridors of the library. I open my eyes looking up at the ceiling wondering why I’ve never paid attention to the gorgeous antique chandeliers carefully selected by those in charge of the building. I’m sitting alone at a large wooden desk surrounded by huge shelves filled with books. A calmness and inner peace I’ve never experienced before floods my senses. I keep smiling and decide to close my eyes for a few more seconds. The dances never stopped. Two hearts and two minds deeply in love, bonding for eternity. Expansion. Evolution. A fantastic journey inviting brave and committed souls to explore and experience a world unseen by many. Once you’ve been introduced to this spectacular phenomenon, there’s no going back. Life is elevated waiting for you to further pull back the curtain in order to discover new realities. 💎💎💎 Krisz Rokk 💎💎💎 _______________________________________ Creative art: AI-generated image by @ifeherart via Midjourney https://ecency.com/@ifeherart https://midjourney.com/ Originally published on the Hive blockchain at @**KriszRokk**. https://ecency.com/hive-199275/@kriszrokk/two-is-one-fiction

Pain (Original Poetry) My dreams were showcasing my pain and I was unwilling to look away. First, it captured my heart then slowly spreading like a parasite inside my brain it suffocated my energy like an uninvited passenger unwilling to go away.   I was hurt, unable to share what I felt love tormenting me tearing me inside out like a cataclysm the doors of my soul wide open witnessing dimensions colliding inviting an attractive spirit that would question my status quo.   Such was the unknown a familiar face not afraid to lead me to a mirror ready to reflect my deepest fears an inside bleeding causing the weakest cells to grow apart.   A much-needed liberation followed activating my willingness to live a deeper life filled with joy and blissful moments pulling me towards a purpose like a magnet that attracts positive vibes.   💎💎💎 Krisz Rokk 💎💎💎 Creative art: AI-generated image by Daniela S. via Midjourney https://midjourney.com/ Originally published on the Hive blockchain at @**KriszRokk**. https://hive.blog/hive-161465/@kriszrokk/pain-original-poetry

The Roller Coaster (Fiction) It was a beautiful afternoon when the three took a cab to the city. Without previously agreeing where exactly to be left off, Harry told the driver, “Take us to the roller coaster, please”. The cab driver nodded briefly and swiftly left the hotel parking lot in front of the main entrance. A half an hour drive followed although there wasn’t much traffic this time of the year especially at that hour. The hotels were running at less than half of their capacity waiting for the next season and the tourists that would flood their rooms, restaurants and bars again. “Here we are. This looks amazing. Guess we’ll spend the evening here, have dinner and later watch all those amazing lights coloring the sky”, said Jude while exiting the cab and feeling in awe by the place. “Let’s walk around a bit before we grab something to drink” continued Mary. Unlike the periphery, the city center buzzed with life and energy. Modern music sounded from the loudspeakers hanging on street lamps while people of different ages were savoring the pleasant temperatures outside on their walk through town. Some hotels were offering special meal deals trying to attract more guests whereas others were focusing on their evening program which in most cases was due to start in a couple of hours time. The three headed down the main street walking in and out of shops, looking for souvenirs and little gifts for their loved ones at home when all of a sudden the music stopped and all lights went off. A few seconds later the pleasant night turned into a battle field with people screaming and shouting out of fear, despair and panic. It was the perfect moment for all the pocket thieves in the area to maximize their yield before the emergency generators turned on. These blackouts weren’t uncommon for locals but obviously, tourists weren’t accustomed to these changes. Facing total darkness in the streets isn’t for the faint of heart, that’s for sure. Mary was petrified even after the lights went back on. She could hardly get a word out. The boys tried to cheer her up but she could barely walk. Her face turned white and she was trembling all over her body. Without understanding what was happening to Mary, Harry kept asking: “What’s wrong? Do you want us to call an ambulance? Did something like this happen to you before?” Before Harry could finish his last question, Mary’s shivering suddenly got worse. Fearing she would get a stroke or a heart attack, Jude grabbed the phone out of his pocket and called an ambulance. The sedatives worked and Mary could finally calm down. When the doctors left her room, she was asleep. The boys were waiting for nearly three hours in the hospital hallway desperately looking for a doctor that could provide information on the wellbeing of their friend. “She was very lucky you boys were there and called the ambulance. Thank you for that” said the older lady doctor. She was accompanied by a younger colleague who looked more like a medical student. She went on to ask a few questions: “How long have you known Mary?” “For roughly 10 years, I’d say” answered Harry and Jude added: “I’ve known her for a bit longer, maybe 15 years”. “How well do you know Mary?” asked the lady doctor. The boys looked at each other and almost unanimously they answered “We studied together”. Harry went on, “We both lived in the same hostel. We even had a few classes together. We partied together, often times did our homework together and we’re now working at the same company.” Jude continued, “I’ve known her since school, before she left for uni. We used to play basketball together. She is a great team player.” The doctor smiled, told the boys that Mary would recover in a few hours and she’d be good to join them again. There was something in the doctor’s eyes that left the boys puzzled. She knew something that she didn’t want to share with them. “Did you catch that Harry?” said Jude. “Yes, I did mate. Something doesn’t smell right. But I guess we’ll have to wait and ask Marry about that” said Harry before grabbing a chair and making himself comfortable for the next hours. They finally made it to the roller coaster. It was Mary’s deepest wish to come back to this place for one more time. She was seven years old when her father took her for a ride on this very same roller coaster. Then out of the blue, the lights went off and when everything was back on, her father had disappeared. That was twenty three years ago. Mary never heard of him since. Life is full of mysteries. Some mysteries we embrace, others we despise. Sometimes we lose ourselves in them only to vanish further and further away. 💎💎💎 Krisz Rokk 💎💎💎 Creative art: AI-generated image by Daniela S. via Midjourney https://midjourney.com/ Originally published on the Hive blockchain at @**KriszRokk**. https://hive.blog/hive-199275/@kriszrokk/the-roller-coaster-fiction

Fusion (Original Poetry) You came into my world Fusion paralyzing my thinking brain dismantling the addictive patterns that kept me a prisoner for decades.   I played with radio waves interfering with dimensions ignoring the repercussions inviting souls from other realms to dance with Earthly matters.   My innocence opened the portals flooding the hearts of us mortals allowing passion to flow in circles emulating infinity without purpose. The game captured our immaculate senses pushing non-playing characters into the trenches illuminating a spectacular maze kept secret over the dark ages.   A twisted and plagued ecosystem spreading its tentacles like an octopus trying to squeeze hope and wisdom from species not willing to play victimhood.   I tried bravery, it didn’t work bending the matrix to my will stopped energy from its free flow What was I to do with all my force?   So, you intercepted my thoughts willing to shed light on the confusion pulling back the curtains of this gigantic illusion Am I responsible for your descend Fusion?   💎💎💎 Krisz Rokk 💎💎💎 Creative art: AI-generated image by Daniela S. via Midjourney https://midjourney.com/ Originally published on the Hive blockchain at @KriszRokk https://ecency.com/hive-161465/@kriszrokk/fusion-original-poetry

The Future is Multichain - This is my latest blog post. There is no perfect blockchain. No matter how deeply in love we are with the notion of singularity or one chain to prevail over all other chains, if we want abundance, we need to go multichain. Dominance, centralization, singularity – we don’t cope well with these systems on this bipolar planet we call Earth. And I’m glad we don’t, no matter how desperately certain entities are marketing and selling these concepts to the human race. Extremes are dangerous. The Future is Multichain **There is no perfect blockchain. No matter how deeply in love we are with the notion of singularity or one chain to prevail over all other chains, if we want abundance, we need to go multichain.** Dominance, centralization, singularity – we don’t cope well with these systems on this bipolar planet we call Earth. And I’m glad we don’t, no matter how desperately certain entities are marketing and selling these concepts to the human race. Extremes are dangerous. We’ve seen and experienced the results of these adventurous endeavors in our daily lives and they’re not fun. *So how do we diversify? Can we minimize risk by using multiple chains?* Putting all eggs into one basket is very risky. We don’t need to study Warren Buffet to come to this conclusion. Our innate intelligence is here to guide us, we just have to listen to it and follow our intuition. The Bitcoin blockchain has been around for over a decade now and it has proven to be the most robust and secure **blockchain**. Despite these gigantic pros, the chain also has some cons. This is where other chains try to balance the act such as Ethereum, Polkadot, Cardano, Cosmos etc. https://www.strengthinbusiness.com/category/blockchain/ Some of these chains scale better or are more flexible, others enable developers to quickly build decentralized applications (dApps) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on top of them. **Multichain: The Pudding is in the Mix** The other day I was having an interesting conversation with a like-minded soul I befriended on **Hive**, the go-to platform for all web3 marketing fans. We were talking about maximalists and their view of the world which basically encourages separation instead of unity. https://hive.blog/@kriszrokk *Why is it that we always have to divide and conquer? Why is it so hard for the human species to drop confrontation and go all in on cooperation?* Let’s think back to the founders of the Ethereum blockchain. A team of phenomenal mathematicians, IT devs and scientists gathered to create this chain only to grow apart within a few weeks and months. What happened next is no mystery for those following the cryptoverse saga so to speak. Vitalik Buterin stayed with Ethereum while Dr. Gavin Wood went on to create the Polkadot blockchain and Charles Hoskinson the Cardano chain. So far so good, as each of them embedded a unique component into their project. Instead of one blockchain we now have three different chains. Here’s the problem though: communication between chains. Keyword: cooperation. Harnessing the power of the multichain means putting aside the ego and celebrating the differences with a clear emphasis on uniqueness. The most dApps are built on the Ethereum blockchain. Polkadot on the other hand, excels at web3 interoperability and cross-chain performance. Cardano is slick and fast, the type of go-getter that always needs to prove itself. Three very different chains reflecting the strong personalities of their founders. **We Shape the Future, Not the Other Way Around** Responsibility. A powerful word with thorns for those unwilling to stand strong and face the consequences of their thoughts and actions or lack thereof. Multichain, multiverse, multi-xyz … It all comes down to our willingness to step up and create the life we want for us and future generations. Evolution isn’t based on singularity. There might be an all mighty source of consciousness and energy but our planet, galaxy and universe thrives from a plethora of multiple, colorful layers. The blockchain technology will revolutionize every single aspect of our lives. It will enable us to improve our lives on a large scale, if we deploy it wisely. The last thing we want and need is one entity such as for example the government to control every single aspect of our lives by enforcing all citizens of the world to use one blockchain. **The power lies in learning to juggle multiple chains. It’s up to us to use this amazing technology to enhance and enrich our lives. By opening up to new frontiers we invite the collective mind to grow and transform.** Creative art: AI-generated image on Lexica https://lexica.art/prompt/aba8296f-84b4-4c2a-ad4f-13196ff52bba ________________________________ Originally published on my blog at **StrengthInBusiness.com** https://www.strengthinbusiness.com/the-future-is-multichain/

A Crack in the Code (Fiction) She looked at me ferociously and said *“No”*. The deep void in her eyes matched the color of her hair, an insatiably black that always kept strangers from interacting with her. I continued my plea disregarding her reaction. A few more no’s continued before she understood that the charismatic character facing her would never give up. Becky was hired by the owner himself a year ago. He trusted her and knew she would follow his strict guidelines and principles. The Center operated previously for ten years under a different owner but became unprofitable during the last couple of years when a tough recession hit the country. The new owner got rid of all the old personnel except two trainers who he used as front puppets for his ideal clientele. Not everyone could afford the remodeled Center and those who did, had interesting backgrounds to say the least. Becky was distant and trustworthy. No client was able to approach her, let alone ask her out for a meal or drink. She was an excellent negotiator, someone you’d like to have on your team when closing highly sophisticated deals. Her poker face was her ultimate weapon making it extremely difficult to read her emotions, feelings and thinking patterns. On that particular Saturday morning though, Becky seemed to have met her master. The person standing in front of her was of a totally different caliber. Her approach wouldn’t work no matter how hard she was pushing ahead with her favorite word *“no”*. The strategy she deployed routinely to ensure everything worked out her and Mark’s way did not provide the results she was used to getting from all her previous encounters. As her level of frustration and anger grew it became clear to both players that things could get out of control. Mental toughness, fancy strategies and techniques combined with an immaculate poker face weren’t enough this time to win the game. Mark was downstairs when he heard about the debate. He waited to see whether this was one of those occasions where Becky wins and sends her opponent to rest. There was something about this person that triggered a chain reaction in Becky he never experienced and witnessed before. He himself was puzzled and couldn’t figure out what to do next. *Should he wait for things to unravel naturally? What if Becky lost the game causing an irreparable crack in the code? Will he be able to restart the matrix without severe damages like he did the last time?* Out of the blue, the fire alarm went on and everybody was forced to leave the building. Players rushed out of the Center leaving three participants in the game. Becky hesitated a few more minutes before she beamed herself out of the scene too. Here I was on an empty floor surrounded by windows and doors of glass when I heard footsteps approaching on the staircase from a lower level. Mark entered the hallway and whispered in a soft tone: *“We are the only ones left in the building. We should go too.”* *“Are you the designer of this game?”* I replied swiftly. He smiled and looked at me surprised: *“Maybe”*. I then continued: *“Good program, I must confess. Well thought out characters, enticing plot and Becky, what a great idea for a gatekeeper. Do you know how I found out about the glitch?”* Ten years must have passed by since my last encounter with Mark when I spotted him on the cover of a famous gaming magazine. His unique sense for coding gestures and sophisticated emotions into his characters revolutionized the industry. He redesigned the game we both played in a decade ago but was never able to uncover the source of the glitch thus leaving a crack in the code for future generations to fix. 💎💎💎 Krisz Rokk 💎💎💎 Creative art: AI-generated image by Daniela S. via Midjourney https://www.midjourney.com/ Originally published on the Hive blockchain at @**KriszRokk**. https://hive.blog/hive-199275/@kriszrokk/a-crack-in-the-code
