Sharing with you another workout buddy. If you're familiar with the anime, Hajime no Ippo (Knock Out), I got the inspiration to use ankle weights from that show when I saw the main character wearing them on his boxing training. Mom bought me this one along with the badminton racket that my friends and I play with after our jogging. I use the ankle weights when I practice karate. I wear them at my wrist when I throw punches. I transfer them to my ankles when I practice the kicks. Each of them is around 2 lbs., just the right weight so I don't force my back. They feel a bit heavy when you use them while you punch and kick. I remove them after completing 30 counts of punches and kicks then I perform another 30 counts without them. I felt a bit of surge in strength when I remove the weights and my hits create marks at the punching bag. I practiced that for 3 years and I can say that the results manifest until now. It helped me gain enough strength to do things that would sometimes require force that a normal woman can't take. I'm very thankful and I'll do this routine again once I get the rest of my things at home which includes my punching bag and get settled in my new place for good. I'm excited. 😁
