I went to Caleb so I can feed him. I enjoyed taking a few shots while he eats. This is the only shot where I captured his open mouth. He enjoys munching like that. You can see the leaves disappear really fast. This is one of the last few shots I had with Caleb coz dad gave him to one of our neighbors who has a pet rabbit. The reason why dad gave him away is because he scratched dad while he's cleaning his cage. Dad lifted him to clean the area he was sitting on, not knowing that rabbits are scared of being lifted. Being a prey animal, rabbits think that their predator is the one carrying them. Caleb struggled a lot and scratched him out of instinct. Dad gave him away a few days later. Farewell Caleb. I'll miss you dearly. 😢 Dad is doing fine now. His wound has healed. I'll be keeping Caleb's photos as memories of him. 🐇

Aww. Rabbits are gentle animals and must be handled with care. You're right your dad must have startled him when he was cleaning the cage.
Yes he did. Dad didn't know it. He didn't asked anyone. He just felt like cleaning the cage. I'm just relieved that Caleb was given to someone who knows how to take care of rabbits.
