Situation

Moral situations are moments or experiences when we are confronted with the need to make a moral discernment—the process by which an act is decided as either good or bad, with a preferential option for what is believed to be good/right and an aversion from what is believed to be bad/wrong.  Moral discernment refers to the process of weighing the values of moral options through an appeal to standard moral principles that can guide judgment.
