9 Mistakes Writers Should Never Commit Are you looking for some useful writing tips? If yes, then these 17 mistakes writers should never commit will certainly come in handy to you. Writing an article or content isn’t easy — especially if you want it to be perfect. Most writers would love to create flawless pieces, but the reality is they don’t always succeed. Why? Because they’re prone to commit common mistakes, such as grammar errors, spelling mistakes, bad punctuation, etc. Here are 9 mistakes writers should avoid. These mistakes include grammatical issues, word choice, sentence structure, and much more. Keep reading to see them all. 1. Write for Readers, not search engines Readers don’t care if you have 10,000 Facebook fans; they just want to read your words. If you want people to find and share your writing, write for them. You should always keep readers foremost in mind. You should treat your audience members like friends instead of potential customers. You can do this by asking yourself questions about who you are writing for, what their interests might be, how they spend their time, what they look for online, etc. Once you know where you're going and who's going to read your content, you'll be able to create great content that will go viral! 2. Create consistency If you've ever started a blog, you may know that consistency is key to staying consistent. A lot of bloggers make the mistake of launching their first post and then never posting again. If you plan to stick around long-term, you need to create content consistently. People won't stick around if they don't find quality content to consume every week. If you don't have anything interesting to write, you're not going to last long. 3. Don’t Let Perfectionism Stop You From Writing You may hear people say they want to write, but never do anything about it. I have been guilty of being that person myself. I always believed my work was good enough, but never got around to making something out of it. Now I am not saying we need to put our work out there and just expect rejection, but once you decide to get started, nothing should hold you back. If you have not written before, start small. Write short stories, poems, and blog posts. Make sure you post them online somewhere. Once you start getting feedback, you get excited and motivated. Then you continue to work on bigger projects. Don’t let the fear of failure stop you from getting started. Perfectionists are generally self-critical people who find it hard to accept praise from others. But if you want to write well, you need to learn how to take criticism constructively. Criticism helps you to understand just where your weaknesses lie and how you might improve. Most importantly, it lets you know whether a particular piece of work is worth pursuing further, or whether you should shelve it for now. 4. Don’t Neglect Grammar No matter what type of project you are working on, if you can’t find basic grammar rules, then you are going to struggle. When looking at other people’s work, check the grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. Also, look at the sentence structure. Are there any awkward sentences? Take note of these things because bad grammar and poor formatting will cause readers to lose interest and turn away from your piece. Grammar and spelling errors are serious mistakes that can mar the quality of your work and make readers think badly of your professionalism. So always check your work carefully for accuracy before publication. Make sure you correct any errors you find at least once before submitting your work. If possible, have someone read your text out loud to you so you can catch any obvious mistakes. 5. You should always look up words you don't know. Don't be afraid to google things you don't know! There are lots of great websites online that will tell you everything you need to know about a particular word or phrase. Also, try using the advanced search feature to narrow down your results. For example, if you want to learn more about the word "bored," type "how to become bored" into Google and see what comes up. 6. Don’t Assume Your Readers Knows What You Mean This is probably the most common mistake made by beginner writers. While writing, you should always assume your reader does not already know what you mean. Readers might misunderstand what you meant or misinterpret what you wrote completely. In addition, if you are talking about different topics, you should explain what those topics are. For example, if you were talking about two different companies and one uses plastic containers while the other uses glass containers, you could mention that fact. This allows you to simplify the content, reduce clutter, and make it more concise. People today are very savvy consumers. Consequently, they expect you to tell them exactly what your product does. If you fail to explain what you're offering, they won't buy it. So make sure you clearly state the benefits of your goods and services. In addition, make sure your customers know all the features of each product you offer. If you make a mistake here, you run the risk of confusing potential buyers. 7. Don't Ignore Basic Rules of English When writing anything longer than a couple of sentences, there's no point in trying to sound clever. Instead, stick to simple language that everyone will understand. Avoid long words and technical jargon; instead, concentrate on making your message clear and concise. And remember, brevity is the soul of wit, so try to cut out unnecessary verbiage wherever you can. 8. Don't Forget to Proofread Your Text If you've written anything longer than a short story, you should always go back to edit your work thoroughly. There are two ways to do this. First, look for places where you could replace nouns with more precise ones (for example, take 'a' out of 'a fact'). Then check every sentence for errors in grammar and spelling. Finally, reread the whole thing aloud to ensure that it sounds good. 9. You should never put together a sentence that doesn't flow naturally. There's nothing worse than having a bunch of disconnected sentences running around in your head. To fix this problem, break each idea down into its own paragraph. The paragraphs should flow smoothly into one another so that the ideas are connected and make sense.

6 Success Tips for Your Personal Life ***You have to work hard to achieve success in life. But there are some things you can do to help you along the way. Read on to discover them!*** Successful people often share similar traits. They're goal oriented, focused, and determined. They also tend to be optimistic and positive. These characteristics can help you succeeds in many areas of your life. That said, lets have a look at some tips to help you succeed in your personal life. 1. Focus on Positive Relationships In my opinion, Positive relationships are the foundation of your happiness and well-being. Whether it is family, friends, or romantic relationships, the quality of these relationships are the ones that really matter. When you surround yourself with supportive friends and family, you’ll feel better about yourself and experience greater levels of self-esteem. You feel good when they’re around too. So, instead of being negative and complaining about things, look at the bright side of life. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer! They’ll appreciate you for this and it will help you stay focused and motivated. 2. Never Stop Learning We should be constantly trying to grow and improve ourselves. The problem that many people face is that they believe that once they hit a certain milestone, then their journey will be complete. In reality, we can continue to learn new things every day of our lives. Sure, we may lose interest in certain areas of our lives, but that doesn’t mean we should give up entirely. With that being said, I firmly believe that when we are constantly improving, then we will experience greater levels of happiness. 3. Have Fun Doing Things I am a huge advocate of having fun while living your life. One thing that I always tell myself is that I am going to live every single day like it were my last. I cannot stress enough how important it is to enjoy life because life is too short to spend it worrying about the future. For example, if you are worried about paying rent next month, you need to learn to accept that fact now and figure out a solution. Instead of spending countless hours stressing over it, you could be out enjoying yourself right now. 4. Practice Optimism Optimism is a positive attitude towards life and the future. When we adopt this outlook, we live our lives to the fullest, even despite negative situations and circumstances. We realize that things could be much worse and we believe that everything will be okay. This helps us cope well under pressure, especially financial stress, unemployment, and relationship problems. And the good news is that this mindset contributes significantly to overall happiness and wellbeing. 5. Challenge Your Perspective Perspective refers to the ability to change the lens through which you look at things. A great example would be looking at a beautiful sunset from a plane window versus observing the same view from ground level. From the outside, both views seem nearly identical; however, the former allows you to appreciate the beauty of nature while the latter forces you to focus on the tiny details. Therefore, the same thing should apply to your life. Instead of focusing on what you lack or what is wrong with yourself, try changing your point of view to see the bigger picture. 6. Don't Forget Your *Mental* Health Good mental health is essential when trying to achieve a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately, our society often overlooks the importance of maintaining mental health. For instance, stress levels are increasing due to financial instability, environmental degradation, rapid technological advancement, and others. These factors contribute to serious physical and emotional ailments. Thus, it is important to take time every day to relax and unwind. Engaging in activities that bring joy such as reading books, exercising, going outdoors, having fun with friends, and meditating can all help improve your mental state.
Why We Procrastinate and How to Avoid It How often have you tried to start something only to put it off until later? Are you afraid of starting something new because you don't want to fail or get hurt? Procrastination is a common problem that occurs when someone delays initiating tasks that he wants to complete. It can come from fear, lack of confidence, or laziness. The result is a feeling of anxiety, stress, and tension. If you haven't started working on your goals yet, procrastination is probably holding you back. Once you realize why you procrastinate, you'll be able to figure out ways to overcome it. In this article, we'll explore some of the reasons why we procrastinate and how to overcome this problem. What is procrastination? Procrastination is delaying something without any good reason. Common examples include putting off paying bills, cleaning the house, writing reports, studying, exercising, doing chores, and even working on personal goals. At its core, procrastination comes down to poor self-discipline. When we put off doing what needs to be done because we feel overwhelmed, bored, stressed, unmotivated, or distracted, we are being lazy. Why do we procrastinate? This question might seem obvious but many people often procrastinate due to their inability to focus on tasks. If this is the case then it would be best to address this issue first. This could mean setting aside time where we work alone on our projects, or it may mean getting some much-needed help from someone else. There are also other reasons why we procrastinate including feeling overwhelmed, having too many things going on at once, and lack of motivation and energy. Here are a few reasons why we procrastinate: #1. Fear of Failure Many people try to avoid doing something because they think they might fail. This may seem counterintuitive since many people don't want to fail; however, failing isn't always bad! Failure helps us learn and better prepare for future tasks. Additionally, failure doesn't mean that you did anything wrong or that you should give up. It only means that you didn't fully reap the benefits of what you were trying to achieve. #2. Lack of Motivation When you lack the motivation to do something, you tend to procrastinate. If you aren't motivated, then you probably won't complete your task. If you haven't found any reason to motivate yourself to do the task at hand, ask yourself why you're doing it. Is it because someone else expects you to do certain things? Or maybe you just enjoy completing a project or experience? Either way, you should identify the reason behind your procrastination. Once you have a clear idea, you'll be able to figure out how to overcome it. #3. Lack of Knowledge Procrastination is often caused by a lack of knowledge or understanding. Sometimes we don’t know enough about what we want to achieve or how to do so, especially if it involves learning something new. Other times we may not understand the consequences of taking action versus doing nothing. This lack of knowledge leads to us avoiding the necessary steps to accomplish what we desire. #4. Negative Emotions Another reason we procrastinate is that we are overwhelmed with negative emotions. Sometimes we experience fear, sometimes nervousness, and sometimes anxiety. All of these emotions cause us to procrastinate. They prevent us from making decisions and acting, causing us to stay stuck in neutral. #5. Lack of Commitment We all know that life gets busy and that time often becomes scarce. With increased commitments comes less time to devote to accomplishing tasks, including completing projects. Our excuses for putting off work range from “I will start tomorrow” to “I am too tired” or “I don’t enjoy working on my project.” Sometimes we put off work because we aren’t committed to it. We say we will take care of it later but never follow through. How to Overcome Procrastination Now that you understand why we procrastinate, here are some tips on how to overcome procrastination: Do what needs to be done: It is sometimes hard to force yourself to finish projects sooner. So instead, do what needs to be done. Don’t put things off until tomorrow, but rather take action today. Set realistic goals: When you set unrealistic goals, it becomes harder to achieve them. In order to make sure that you aren’t setting yourself up for failure, set realistic goals. Be sure that you have the right resources to complete the project on time and that you are willing to put forth the effort needed to accomplish the task at hand. Focus on the present: The past cannot be changed; the future is still unknown. As much as we might want to change the past, we cannot. We can only focus on the present. Rather than worrying about what will happen later, we should focus on what we have now. Make a plan: Before you start any new project, sit down and write out a plan on how you are going to execute the project. Create a timeline for yourself and think through everything ahead of time. Have support systems: For many individuals, having friends and family that encourage us to follow through with our plans is one of the most effective ways to reduce procrastination. Having someone else look over your shoulder while you work on a project can help you stay motivated when you begin to lose the drive to continue working on a particular task. Set deadlines. Setting a deadline ensures that you will complete a task within a certain amount of time. For example, if you want to lose weight, set a specific date to accomplish this. By setting a deadline, you ensure that you will take action even though you might be feeling lazy at the moment. Visualize yourself achieving your goals. When faced with a difficult situation, imagine yourself achieving your goals. For instance, say you want to lose weight. Imagine yourself walking down the beach wearing a swimsuit and looking fit and healthy. Then turn off any negative thoughts and simply let your imagination run wild. After you envision yourself succeeding, visualize all the great things that will happen once you reach your goal. You will soon notice that you’re much more likely to perform well under pressure when you visualize success. Find a mentor. A mentor is someone who can act as a guide for you. Mentors offer advice and guidance that helps you move forward and accomplish your goals. Having a mentor is beneficial for many reasons. First, having an experienced person to lean on provides the motivation that you need to persevere and push through obstacles that arise. Second, mentors keep you accountable by reminding you of your commitments, which increases your chances of successfully completing your goals. Finally, mentors provide positive reinforcement. When you achieve a goal, your mentor celebrates with you. Keep promises. Be sure to follow through on your promises. Make a commitment and then see it through. It could save your life and the life of someone else.

Self-education will make you a fortune Formal education will make you a living, self-education will make you a fortune – Jim Rohn We can’t always stay where we are and not expect things to remain exactly the same. The world changes all the time and the more you learn, the better equipped you will be with the tools and knowledge to keep yourself ahead of the curve. If you never adapt, you’ll always fall behind. It’s important to continuously grow and evolve your skill set so you stay in front of the competition. The more you learn, the more opportunities present themselves for you to explore. You won’t succeed at everything, but by doing something every once in awhile, you’ll constantly progress. Formal education will help you become employable. Self-education will make you rich. Formal education is full of theory, and self-education focuses on real life application. You cannot learn how to start your own business in any classroom. So why study at all? A college degree isn’t the key to success, but it certainly gives you a leg up. Your formal schooling teaches you how to survive, but it doesn't teach you how to become successful. The key to success is to learn how to learn. Self-education includes reading books and articles, learning new languages, taking courses online and attending seminars. Self-education gives you a fortune, and it can also help you change the world around you”. What does this quote mean? Focused studies during your time at school can provide you with a good foundation to survive after graduation. However, these skills are not taught in schools. They need to be developed outside of classrooms. Therefore, I believe that self-education can give you a great opportunity to explore your interests and develop skills that can lead you to a career. Furthermore, most of the skills required to run a business are taught when you start running one. So, instead of spending time building the skills to run a business while doing nothing, learn those skills first and then build your business. Start working hard immediately after graduation, then focus on getting as much self-knowledge as possible. Don’t wait until you are 30 or 40 years old to begin developing the skills you need. Once you have built up enough capital, create your own business. If you want to change your life, you must change yourself. If we remain the same we will always get the same results. Life will never give us what we want if we are not willing to change ourselves to fit what we desire. We must first accept the fact that anything less than everything we wish for will not happen. The question is - does this mean we should stop trying? No! Instead, we should be determined to achieve all we want as long as we continue to embrace change. Allowing ourselves to grow is what will help our dreams come true.
Take the Long View The decisions you make today will shape your future. As you read this, there are two things that are true: 1. You are alive and breathing. 2. You woke up this morning and made a decision about the way your life is going to go today. The decisions you make today will shape your future. Whether or not that future involves a happy marriage and kids in your lap, or if it's full of endless nights spent drinking too much, making poor choices, and wondering how you got where you are now… all of it is going to be because of what you decide today. And so here's the question: What kind of person do you want to be? What kind of person do you want to become? How will this decision shape your future? You can't always control the path that your life takes, but you can control how you spend your time. The decisions you make today are going to shape your future, so it's important to take the long view. All of the choices we make have consequences, and those consequences will affect not only our present selves but also our future selves. When you're making big decisions, it's easy to get caught up in the moment. And while it might seem like your choices are limited by your current situation, there are always broader consequences of your actions—and it's important to take a long view. We've all heard that we should "live in the moment," but what does that actually mean? For most of us, it means we're focused on what's happening right now: our next meal, our next vacation, or even just our next meeting. We spend so much time living in the now that we forget about what comes after—and we forget about how decisions made today will shape our future. When you think about how decisions made today affect your future, they seem less like simple choices and more like major life decisions—like whether or not you want kids or a mortgage down payment or whether you want to move cities for work. The fact is: if you don't take a long view when making these kinds of big choices (or any other kind), then the consequences could be huge! Every decision you make has the potential to shape your future. And that's not just because you're making them for yourself. Every decision you make is also shaping the lives of people around you, whether they're a friend or a stranger. That's why it's so important to take the long view when making decisions. Look at what's happening with the people around you and how those choices might affect their lives. What kind of person do they want to be? What kind of person do they want to be around? How will your choice affect their quality of life? You can't always be right, but you can always be aware—and conscious—of what's going on around you, and how those choices will affect others' lives as well as your own. That's how we build communities that last! It seems like everyone has their own idea of what the perfect life looks like. Some people believe they can achieve financial freedom by working less, spending more time at home with family, and traveling the world. Others dream of retiring early and living off their savings. How important is it to take time to plan ahead? Many people believe that they should focus only on the present moment and try their hardest to achieve their goals now. Planning is essential in life. Whether it’s starting a new job or buying a house, things always seem easier when you map out the steps beforehand. This approach will also come in handy when setting goals. Planning is crucial when you want to succeed at something. As you go through life, you will encounter obstacles along the way. If you don’t prepare for them, you’re likely to get frustrated and give up. But who really knows what the future holds? There is no guarantee that your current situation, habits, and lifestyle will remain unchanged over the next ten years. If you want to create the life you desire, start now. Make decisions that will impact your life positively tomorrow.
9 Simple Strategies to Overcome Obstacles - Put Some Pressure On Positive pressure brings out the Treasure in you. Do you ever get discouraged when things don’t go your way? Everyone at some point feels down or has bad days. It’s normal to feel frustrated from time to time. The question is whether you let those feelings distract you or they motivate you. If you want to improve your life, stop letting negative emotions derail you. Instead, learn to manage them. I've had my fair share of ups and downs, but I didn't make excuses or allow myself to get stuck in either. Don't forget no one ever became successful by making excuses. The thing excuses is that you'd never run out of them. Every successful person you admire had a 1000+ reason to give up. They succeeded because they chose to make progress instead of making excuses. That's why sustainable success doesn't happen overnight. If you're given MONEY, it can pay your bills today. If you're given KNOWLEDGE, it can pay your bills now, tomorrow and even beyond. Successful people trade the 'litte' they have now so as to have much 'MORE' tomorrow. Pressure is what brings out the Treasure in you. Comfort will make your life Confined. Stay around people who apply positive pressure on you till your greatness breaks forth. Don't yet have such persons around you? Take the initiative now. Apply some pressure on yourself my friend. Put some pressure on! Simple Strategies to Overcome Obstacles 1. Apply positive pressure There are many reasons to pressure ourselves into doing well and having high expectations. But we always need to remember that the only people who do not have goals are those who never get started! In order to achieve our goals, we should set our sights really high and work towards them every day. When we set our goals too low, we will feel frustrated that we cannot reach our desired destinations and this can lead us to give up. We need to use both realistic goals and big ambitions if we want to thrive. 2. Be Self-discipline Self-discipline is the ability to overcome negative emotions and follow through with our plans. One of the most powerful ways to become self-disciplined is to break down our tasks into small steps and then reward ourselves once we complete each step. If we don't take action, we risk becoming overwhelmed by stress and anxiety. Take control of your life by setting attainable goals, scheduling your activities, and rewarding yourself for accomplishing what needs to be done. 3. Be Patient Last but not least, patience is the virtue of taking things slowly. Be patient even when others around you do not understand your intentions. Everyone goes through different stages and learning takes time, so stay patient until you reach your goal. It's hard to achieve something we desire but it is worth waiting for, isn't it? 4. Be Consistent Consistency is everything in life. This applies to both your physical and mental health. If you are consistently getting good grades at school, then you are going to get good grades at college. If you consistently exercise, you are going to increase muscle mass. Consistency builds confidence and belief in yourself. **5. Never give up** I know that this advice may seem obvious, but I have seen many people quit too soon in their fitness journey. You need to develop patience and perseverance. When things aren't going well, do not panic and run away. Instead, try to analyse what went wrong, figure out ways to improve it and keep moving forward. The best way to succeed is to learn from failure. 6. Believe you can If you believe that you can do something, then you probably won't fail at it, right? I have seen this time and time again. There are many people who try their hardest but they never seem to make any progress. Then after several months or years of trying, they finally give up because they just cannot get themselves to meet their goal. This is where we need to change our mindset. We need to think of ourselves as the person who has already succeeded and we need to use that as motivation to keep going. Just remember, if you haven't tried yet, then how would you know whether or not you can actually achieve your goal? So don't let fear hold you back from achieving your goals. 7. Don't compare yourself to others Comparison is the thief of joy. If you find yourself comparing your life to other people's lives, then realize that you are only bound to feel low. When evaluating your own performance, always look at what you have achieved instead of what someone else has done. Your success should be solely based on the work that you put into it. And if you really want to improve, then focus on improving your skills, knowledge, abilities and strengths rather than focusing on the weaknesses. By doing this, you will start feeling positive about yourself and will build confidence that will lead to success. 8. Have a Plan B If your first attempt fails, have a backup plan. You don't want to be left sitting at home wondering what happened if things go wrong. Always have a fallback plan, but make sure to follow through with it... I'm serious! 9. Take time out for yourself This one may sound simple, but it's so easy to forget that we need to take care of ourselves. You aren't getting anywhere if you're not healthy and happy. Taking some time for yourself once in awhile will help boost your morale and energy levels. Sometimes, we need to recharge our batteries. So, as you apply the pressure on yourself to succeed, go ahead and enjoy some alone time.
We Make Choices Everyday Everyday we wake up, we make choices. To hit the gym, of lay in bed. To take action towards becoming rich, or swim in our pool of excuses and remain broke. To leave that toxic friends, or keep deteriorating in the mind. We all make choices. Every single one of us. The choice we make everyday, whether we know it or not, matters more than we think. It's about how we spend our time, our energy, and our money. We choose to do things because we want to feel good about ourselves, and we choose to do things because someone else expects us to do them. When we don't take responsibility for making choices, life gets out of hand very quickly. We end up spending too much time trying to figure out why we're unhappy, rather than doing something about it. Our lives become unmanageable, and it takes an incredible amount of willpower to change anything. If you're unhappy, chances are you've done some things that you regret. You might have cut corners at work, or spent money you didn't really have. Or maybe you haven't taken care of yourself as well as you should. Whatever the reason, every day you wake up there are new decisions to be made. And every decision you make affects everything else in your life. So what are you choosing today?" "The question: “Why do you choose this instead of that?” is one of the most important questions we ask ourselves in life. We make choices everyday and there’s always something better out there somewhere. But sometimes, we don’t know how to answer that question. We want to make sure that we’re making the right choice here. Because here is the deal – everything we do is part of our story. And every single choice matters because it influences us. Things to Consider When Making Choices (Decision) We make choices everyday, be it about work, taking a vacation or deciding what to eat for breakfast. Choices are a very integral part of life. They can either make or break a person's life. When you're making a choice, there are a lot of factors at play. You want to be sure that the decision you make is the best possible one for your life and for the people around you. These tips aren't just for people who are struggling with their decision-making skills; they're for anyone who wants to make sure they're getting the best possible outcome from their decisions. When making a decision, it helps to ask yourself: What's the goal? Is it something that will help you accomplish your goals in life? Or is it just something fun for now? If "fun" is your goal, then go for it! But if you're really looking for something substantial, then don't be afraid to go back and revisit this decision later on down the road when you have time and energy to devote to it. Who else will be affect? Can everyone in your family benefit from it, or does one person need to be left out because they might get hurt by using it? Don't forget about anyone who might need their own special consideration when making this decision—even if they don't say anything! Do I have enough money right now to get this item or service? If not, is there another way I can spend my money instead of buying this item or service? Does it fulfill my needs? If not, then why am I considering buying it? What do I need by getting it? Things to Note Look at your options and choose one that is suitable for your lifestyle Learn from past mistakes and avoid repeating them in the future Take time to think about the consequences of your choice before making it Listen to other people before making a decision, especially when your decision affects others. Take into consideration all the pros and cons before making your ultimate choice Think about your goals. Your choice is a reflection of who you are. You can choose to make the right choice, or not make the right choice. Don’t rush. Take your time. Hopefully our conclusion into making choices will help reinforce how worthwhile the experiences of life are because we don't stop learning everyday. We live and we learn, don't forget and be happy to so. Thanks for visiting today! If you enjoy reading this blog, please feel free to subscribe and like us. Also, please leave a comment.
Hard work is Non-negotiable for financial prosperity If you want to be financially prosperous, you have to be willing to work for it. It's not negotiable. The importance of hard work in financial prosperity is often overlooked, which can lead to financial struggles. Many people believe that you need to be born with a silver spoon in your mouth to be successful at any kind of business. This couldn't be further from the truth - it's all about how much time and effort you put into your business. If you want to make money, then it's up to you to make the effort. The only way that you're going to get the results that you want is by putting in the work - no one else is going to do it for you! Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying that just because someone is successful doesn't mean that they worked hard. If anything, their success will make them even more determined than ever before, and because of this drive they've been able to accomplish things that seemed impossible before. But what I'm trying to emphasize here is that no matter how much money someone has or how much they've already achieved in their career, there's always more room for growth and improvement. You can never rest on your laurels (at least not until they're completely overgrown!). You can't just come up with an idea and expect to get rich. You have to do the hard work first, and then reap the rewards. When you're starting out, it's easy to think that money is something you'll be able to make without lifting a finger. It's not true. You have to put in the time and effort, no matter what your financial goals are. To get ahead financially, you have to work for it - and not just in the obvious ways (like getting an education). For example: if you want to start your own business, there are a lot of things you can do before taking the plunge: research what type of business would be best for your situation; figure out how much capital you need; figure out how much time it will take; find an accountant; come up with an idea for your product or service… And then once all those things are done, build your product or service! It takes time and effort - and most importantly, patience - to see real results in your business. But if you don't put in that time and effort up front before launching your company, then when things get tough later on (and they will), you may find it hard to circumvent and may eventually give up. It's a fact: **the more you work to make money, the more you make.** And it's not hard to understand why. The more you work, the more experience you build. The more experience you build, the better you get at your job. And the better you get at your job, the more money you make - because hey! You're making money!
Tips on how to be happy Happy people are more successful, healthier, and better able to navigate life. How happy are you really? The answer isn't as simple or straightforward as you might think. In fact, your happiness depends largely on your circumstances at the time, rather than whether you are happy now. What makes us happy? While your circumstances do play a role in your level of happiness, the main source of your overall well-being comes down to how much joy you choose to cultivate through your actions every day. No matter who you are or where you are - whether you live in a big city or a rural village - everyone wants to be happy. Happiness is probably one of the most important things in life because it affects how we function at work, our relationships, and even our health. In short, happiness comes from having a balanced sense of self-worth, feeling accepted and appreciated, and enjoying positive interactions with loved ones. How happy would you say you are? Happiness is something we seek after, but also something we strive to attain. Happiness is subjective, and everyone has their own definition of it. Whether it’s through the media, science, religion, or philosophy, we’ve always tried to define what makes us happy. Most of us spend our lives chasing happiness or avoiding sadness. Happiness is a feeling that varies from person to person. Some people prefer experiences over material things, while some love spending time with their family. In other words, happiness depends on where you place value. But what exactly is happiness Happiness is defined as a state of well-being and contentment. It's not just feeling good or being satisfied with your life—it's having a sense of well-being throughout your entire being, both mental and physical. Happiness is something that we can all experience, no matter where we are in life or what we're doing. We all have different interests, personalities, and hobbies that contribute to our happiness—we just need to find those things that make us happy and focus on them! What do you gain from being happy? There is a lot to be said for the benefits of happiness. It can provide you with a sense of purpose, a stronger immune system and better overall health. It can also help you sleep better at night. And lastly, it can make you feel more confident in any situation that you may encounter. The benefits of happiness are endless. They can be used to make you more productive, more energetic, and even more successful in your career. What does happiness really mean to you? The first thing that we need to do is understand what happiness really means. It's not just being content with your life, but rather it's being fully satisfied with what you have and how well life is going for you at this moment in time. We all want to be happy, but sometimes we don't know how to achieve this goal because we're not sure what happiness actually looks like for us personally. So try to understand what happiness means for you. It's not something that can be given or taken away. Happiness is an idea, and it grows from within. If you're not happy with yourself, then you have to do some work on yourself before other people's happiness can make a difference for you. The next step is figuring out where we are currently lacking within our lives in order to get back on track toward achieving happiness once again! If there are any problems or issues that are preventing us from feeling happy or contented with life as it stands right now then these should probably be addressed first before anything else so that we can begin working toward changing things for the better! Another step you need is a plan for making yourself happy: what are the specific things that will make you feel good? Having this list will help keep you focused on the things that matter most. Finally, once you've made progress on all three fronts—yourself, your list of things that make you happy, and your plan for how to reach those goals—it's time to start implementing them into your day-to-day life as much as possible. This process may seem like a lot of work at first, but it won't take long before everything starts falling into place Tips on how you can be happier If you're not happy, it's probably because you don't know how to be happy. You've got all the tools in your toolbox—you just need to put them together. **Here are a few tips on how to do that:** #1: Stop comparing yourself to others. You're not going to be happy if you keep comparing yourself to other people and trying to find their flaws or their imperfections. You're just going to see what they have and want more of it, right? So why compare? #2: Take care of yourself first. This means eating well, getting enough sleep, taking time out for yourself every day (even if it's just an hour), and making sure you're doing things that make you feel good about yourself. If these things aren't going well for you, then why would anything else go well? #3: Set goals for yourself and focus on achieving them instead of thinking about what happens if you fail at making those goals happen (which we all do sometimes!). Instead of focusing on the negative aspects of failure (unhappiness), focus on being successful instead! This will help give your brain something positive #4: Adopt a positive attitude: If you're feeling down or depressed, try to think about something that makes you happy. You may even want to think about what you like most about yourself so that it will remind you of how great life is when things are going well for you! A positive mindset will benefit your emotional well-being. Try to stay positive and optimistic about everything, even if it's hard or challenging #5: Find a hobby that makes you happy. It could be anything, but something that you truly enjoy will help you feel more fulfilled and connected to the world. Do things that make you feel good and accomplish things that make you happy #6: Spend time with the people who make you smile and laugh, instead of those who make you sad or angry. They'll appreciate it more than anyone else does! 7: Don't let your life revolve around other people's expectations and what they think is important. Focus on yourself and your own happiness. Have fun, stay active, and make sure to take time for yourself every day!
LGBT: What's Your Stand? A friend chatted with me on WhatsApp to share his experience yesterday. My friend: "Today, as I was trekking down the road from the office to my hostel, I decided to initiate a video call with a female friend. While enjoying my evening cruise, I chose to pass through a pedestrian bridge, as that is faster to my hall. Along my way on the pedestrian bridge, a handsome and cute-looking Hongkonger/Chinese (can't say which one exactly) approached my direction. Since Hong Kong is a congested city, where many passers-by walk side by side, I didn't give a damn as I notice this dude walking in close proximity. At a point, I saw him peeped into my video call, and after, he said "Hi". The following conversations ensued between us: Dude: Hi Me: Hello Dude: Is that your wife or your girlfriend. Me: None, she is just my sister Dude: Ok, Can I ask you a question Me: Go on, please! Dude: What is your perception/view about "gay" or "gay people" Me: I am neutral about them Dude: Do you like or hate them Me: (Out of curiosity/tiredness, I gave same response ), I am neutral Dude: Good, I am gay, I have been watching you from afar and I am truly in love with your beauty. Can you be my love, I am ready to please you with anything you want Me: (I was flabbergasted), What?, you mean you love me? Dude: Yes, I do Me: (palpitation increases!) I am afraid to tell you that I won't be accepting your proposal. This is shocking and I thank you for your compliments. However, my belief won't give room for such immorality. Me: If I may ask, do you believe in God and His books Dude: Yes, I do Me: Then read any of His books that you believe in, and learn about His teachings on "homosexualism". Dude: Thanks (the guy gave me a wave and a cute gay smile) Me: (I picked a race and am still in shock by my first real-life experience of being Wooed by a gay.) Me: (1 later called a friend to share my awful experience, and he told me that he once had a similar experience too)... My Stand I am not against LGBT. I am not prejudiced or hateful against them because I believe that everyone has the right to be who they are and live their lives however they choose. Though I do not agree with these practices, but I can't impose my views on others. I also believe that we should respect other people's choices and opinions. We all deserve to be treated equally and life choices respected regardless of our race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. I do not know any LGBT people personally, but I respect them and their rights to be who they are. That's why I am neutral when it comes to the LGBT+ community. For me, being neutral means to not force my belief on anyone else and that everyone should be able to choose what they want in life. Being a neutral person is a very important part of being an adult. You have to be able to put aside your feelings and not take sides on any issue. It is especially important when it comes to social issues, like LGBT. I just think it would be better if we all agreed to disagree on this subject.
Stop Procrastinating: 7 Tips to Becoming More Productive Part of becoming the best version of yourself is taking action on projects and goals. But then there are those other things, like procrastinating on those inevitable tasks that make it a lot less likely that you'll accomplish anything big. Are you a procrastinator? Do you find yourself putting off tasks for later, or leaving things unfinished? If so, then you're not alone. Procrastination is something that most people experience at some point in their lives—and it can be a serious problem when it comes to getting work done. In fact, many experts believe that procrastination is one of the biggest issues facing modern society. But what exactly is procrastination? And why does it happen? In this article, we'll explore the science behind procrastination and how you can start working towards overcoming this phenomenon. We'll also provide some tips on how to overcome procrastination and make your life more productive! What is Procrastination Procrastination is defined as the habit of putting off until tomorrow what can be done today. This means that you are constantly postponing what you could be doing, and therefore not making progress towards your goals. It's a habit that we have developed over time and its effects can be seen on our lives. The most common reasons why people procrastinate are fear of failure, fear of responsibility, lack of self-discipline, lack of motivation and laziness among others. Tips on How to Become Productive Procrastination is one of the biggest enemies of productivity. It's something we all experience, but it's also something that can be overcome—if you're willing to put in the work. Procrastination is a habit that can be hard to break, but with the right tools and tips, you can learn how to manage your time more effectively and start tackling those tasks that have been sitting on your to-do list for months. Whether you're trying to lose weight, get into shape, or write the next great novel, the first step to getting things done is knowing how to overcome procrastination. You need to stop thinking of your goals as impossible and start seeing them as reasonable. This can be difficult in itself, but if you're willing to work at it, then you'll be able to achieve your goals and live a more fulfilling life. Here are 7 tips to help you stop procrastinating and get things done: #1: Be honest with yourself about why you're procrastinating Is there something holding you back from getting started on an important task? If so, take a step back and ask yourself what's really holding you back—your own fears or anxieties? Or are you just trying to avoid what could be difficult work or unpleasant work? Remember that whatever it is, it's not going to get better if you don't face it head-on. #2. Find your motivation What fuels your desire to move forward? Is it financial security? A sense of accomplishment? Knowing that other people expect something from you? Whatever it is, find a way to feed this motivation so that you're never tempted by the lure of distraction or inaction again when faced with a big challenge or opportunity. #3: Create a plan of action Plan your day, week, or month ahead of time so that you have a sense of purpose in what you're doing and how much time it will take. Write down every step you need to take in order to reach your goal and give yourself a deadline for when you need to reach it. #4: Avoid distractions Create a routine so that you don't have to deal with distractions while working on your goal. Say no to distractions like computer games, social media on phone, and television while working on task or projects and turn off notifications on your phone and computer before diving in. #5: Reward yourself for completing tasks It's okay to reward yourself with something specific (and not money), like going out for ice cream or ordering pizza delivery because you got things done on time today instead of waiting until tomorrow (or next week). #6: Take breaks Take regular breaks throughout the day (30 minutes once an hour). It's important to break up long periods of work into smaller chunks so that your brain doesn't get overwhelmed. #7: Don't multitask Don't multitask, just focus on one thing at a time Takeaway If you're a procrastinator, then you know that it's not just a bad habit—it's a crippling one. Procrastination is the single biggest reason why many people never achieve their goals. Ultimately, overcoming procrastination is all about making progress. Whether that's one day at a time, one step at a time, or one task at a time, make sure you're making something from nothing. Set small goals for yourself and stick with them so that you can easily see the fruits of your labor. And if you find that you're still not making any progress, see what you can do to change your situation—find a new project, seek help from friends or family or coworkers. Whatever it takes to help you get out of the rut and back on track with your life goals. To apply any of the steps mentioned above to your particular situation, you'll need to pay close attention to what works for you and how you feel about them. Understanding the psychology of why we procrastinate is important in overcoming the desire to do so. And then there's the issue of motivation: it can only take you so far if you don't have any drive to do something in the first place. Paying attention to what types of activities work best for you might likewise be an important piece of the puzzle when thinking about how to overcome procrastination. And then there's habit: if you have a bunch of bad habits that need breaking, breaking them is no easy feat.
Don't Be A Quitter: Failure Does Not Mean The End Of the Game Sometimes, you're going to fail. It's inevitable. We all make mistakes; we all have moments where we feel like giving up. The difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is how they deal with those moments of failure—and how they use them to their advantage. Failure is just part of life—it happens to everyone. And when you learn to deal with failure in a healthy way, instead of letting it crush you, it becomes a springboard for success rather than an obstacle on your path to greatness. Failure Isn't the End, It's The Beginning It's easy to think that failure is the end of the game, but it's not. In fact, when you look at it from another angle, failure is just a new beginning. If you fail at something—say, trying to make a cake and it comes out inedible—you haven't lost anything but time. And if you learn from your mistake, you'll be able to do better next time. The same goes for school projects. If you don't get an A on your paper or presentation, it doesn't mean that your work wasn't good enough—it only means that there was room for improvement and that you're now equipped with new knowledge as well as an understanding of what went wrong. When we set goals for ourselves and then don't meet them, we can feel defeated and discouraged by our own failures. But when we take this approach instead—look at the experience as an opportunity for growth instead of a setback—then failure becomes a way forward instead of a blockage in our path. Failure does not mean the end of the game. It's just a way to learn and improve yourself. When you fail, you can take it as a learning experience. You'll be able to see what went wrong, and then apply that knowledge to your next attempt at success. If you keep trying, you will eventually find success! When you fail, you can take it as a learning experience. You'll be able to see what went wrong, and then apply that knowledge to your next attempt at success. If you keep trying, you will eventually find success! Tips for Dealing with Failure It is a mistake to think that every failure means you should quit. Failure is never something to be ashamed of, but it is also not something to celebrate. The first thing you should do after a failure is ask yourself why you failed and what you could do differently in the future. Then, you should get back up and try again! Here are some tips for dealing with failure: **#1: Don't blame yourself** ! It's easy to get down on yourself when things don't go as planned, but remember that everyone makes mistakes—even the people who seem perfect and have been successful at everything they've tried. Instead, look at what went wrong and try to figure out why it happened. Was there something outside of your control that caused this failure? If so, then there was nothing more that anyone could have done about it—and beating yourself up about it won't change anything anyway! Instead, move on from this failure and focus on finding ways to prevent similar problems from arising in the future. **#2: Take responsibility for the outcome** Don't blame your failures on other people—take ownership of them instead, and use them as learning opportunities for what to do next time. **#3: Ask for help** Don't be afraid to ask for help from others around you who have been successful in similar situations before. Don't be embarrassed if things don't go according to plan! Be willing to ask for help from trusted peers or mentors who can offer advice based on their own experiences. #4: Remember that failure is part of success! Even though it may not seem like it at first glance, each time something doesn't work out exactly as planned is an opportunity to learn a new skill or discover something new about yourself (or whatever it is that failed). **Don't be a quitter.** It's hard to come to terms with failure, but it's the only way we learn and grow. It's not about what happens when you fail; it's about how you react to the situation that determines whether or not you're a quitter. If you're going through a rough patch, remember that it will pass. In fact, there are many people who have gone through even greater challenges than yours who have come out on top. Failure is only an obstacle if we allow it to be one; if we choose to learn from our mistakes instead of letting them keep us down, then failure can become an opportunity for growth and change. You can do it too!
Cash Remains Relevant in the Era of Digital Currency ***Cash, considered a relic of a bygone era, remains relevant in the digital currency era. Cash is still a primary means of exchange for many people around the world.*** The world has changed. The way we buy, sell, and interact with each other is different than it used to be. We've gone from bartering with each other in person to using precious metals as currency. And now we're using digital currency to make transactions. But what does that mean for cash? As the world transitions from a cash-based economy to a digital currency one, it's important to remember that cash is still very much relevant as a means of exchange. It is a very important part of our everyday lives. It's also an integral part of our economy, so it's no surprise that it's still relevant as a means of exchange in the era of digital currency. Cash is still used for many transactions because it's convenient and easy to use, whether you're paying for something in person or online. Cash is accepted by most stores and restaurants; you can take cash with you wherever you go. Another reason why cash will remain relevant is because some people don't trust other forms of payment like credit cards or debit cards or even crypto because they have high fees or require personal information like your name, address, date of birth and might take longer to complete a transaction, etc. Another reason why cash will remain relevant is because not everyone has access to smartphones today - especially those who live outside urban areas where cell phone towers aren't available yet (like rural areas). Even though most people own smartphones today regardless Cash is a more efficient means of exchange than digital currencies because it is easy to use, does not require any form of technological infrastructure or equipment, and does not require any special skills or training from the consumer. The ability to use cash means that consumers can exchange goods and services without having to invest time and money into learning how to use digital currencies or purchasing a device that allows them to access these currencies. This makes cash an ideal option for people who do not have the time or desire to learn about these new forms of payment. In addition to being efficient and convenient, cash has other advantages over digital currencies: it's easier to use in places where you don't have internet access. In Conclusion While some people may think of cash as an antiquated form of payment, it has several benefits that keep it relevant today. Cash is still a viable option for consumers and businesses to make payments, as it remains accepted by most retailers. It can be used everywhere at any time
1+1=2: Small Cut Can Add Up to Great Savings The idea of saving money is simple, but it can be difficult to actually do - if you don't have the discipline to save every month. If you're like most people, you've been taught that in order to save money, you need to make more of it. That's why we do overtime and work extra jobs. It's also why we get a second job. When it comes to saving some usually think about the big things—the things that will really impact our bottom line. But what about those little things? Those seemingly insignificant decisions that we make every day? Well, it turns out that if you just think about those small items in aggregate, they can add up to big savings. And in today's post, I want to talk about how a small cut can add up to great savings. I will share one of the contributions someone made in a group discussion with some colleagues on saving money. "The other day, I was talking with a friend about how much money she spends on her kids' clothes. She told me that she buys them all new clothes every season, and it adds up quickly! She said that when she started buying her kids second-hand clothes, she realized how easy it is to get by without spending so much money on new items. This got me thinking: how much money do I spend every year on clothing? When I calculated my total wardrobe costs for the last few years, I was shocked by what I found! It turns out that if I had just bought some of my favorite items second-hand instead of brand new ones (like those super expensive designer jeans), then thousands of dollars would still be sitting in my bank account today!" So the next time you're tempted to splurge on something new, remember: one small cut can add up to great savings! The first step to cutting down expenses to save more is to figure out how much money you spend on things like coffee and lunch. Then, try making one change each week that reduces your spending on these items by even a dollar or two per week. For example, if your usual coffee order costs $4 each morning, try bringing your own reusable mug and ordering an iced tea instead. This simple change could save you $10+ per week! Another simple example is the way you cut your hair. If you're a man and you shave your head, instead of getting a haircut every other week or so, you could save some money per month by shaving your head yourself. If you're a woman who gets manicures or pedicures regularly, consider getting one less manicure or pedicure each week and using that money to buy yourself something nice. You'll save some amount per month doing it this way. What about buying lunch at work every day? If instead of buying lunch every day, you brought in some leftovers from dinner the previous night, how much would that save? You can save enough in a month for an extra pair of shoes or maybe even a new dress! Once you've made those changes for a few months, look back over the total amount of money you've saved by making these small changes. Then consider how much more money you could be saving if you made even more changes! For example, if I save $10 per week by bringing my own mug and ordering iced tea instead of coffee—and then also decide to cut back on buying lunch out altogether by bringing my own food from home—I'm looking at saving $20 per week! That's about $1040 per year. In Conclusion If you're like most people, you probably don't think about how much money you could save if you just made a few small changes to your everyday life. But the truth is, saving money doesn't have to be hard. If we all try to make just one change in our daily routine, we can collectively make an enormous impact—and save a bunch of money at the same time. So what's the big deal? Why is it important that we all do our part? Because when you add up all the little things we do every day, they really add up. And when those little things are things like turning off lights or turning off appliances when we're not using them, or taking shorter showers and flushing less often… well, then those little things start to add up into big savings! As much as 20% on your monthly electric bill… 10% on your water bill… even 5-10% on your grocery bill! The bottom line is this: when it comes to saving money, it's not always about finding big ways to cut costs. It's also about finding small ones too—and doing them consistently over time. So why not put some change aside for an extra vacation? Or invest some into an IRA? The choice is yours—and it's all about finding what works best for you.
JAMB UTME Experience by Eze Godfrey Here are the details of my JAMB UTME experience. Time: 07:00 am Venue: Biodira Multi Biz Concept, British American Junction By No 4 Liberty Boulevard. UTME Subjects - Use of English - Physics - Biology - Chemistry I arrived at my center at exactly 7 o'clock, but when I arrived there I saw like 20 jamb candidates, we were not much. We waited for almost 1hr before they started calling our numbers serially from 001 to 250. When I entered the exam hall the computers have already been set for every jamb candidate. Some students were having issues with their system (i.e most of the students used their legs to disconnect their system, but it was fixed by some jamb officers. we still waited for about 45 minutes inside the hall some students were even exhausted while some were busy sleeping and others were busy going to ease themselves. Indeed the mock exam today was interesting 😄. The exams started at exactly 9 o'clock by all jamb candidates seated in the hall. There were CCTV cameras mounted at every corner of the exam hall. For use of English 10 questions were picked from the novel Life changer. 1. which of the following crime was not committed by Talle? 2. where did Talle run into when he saw the policemen drag Zaraki from the car? 3. where did the policemen ask Talle to take them to? 4. for how long have the Hakimi stayed in Lafayette? 5. what was the name of the person that Talle worked within kidnapping? 6. why did the people of Lafayette notice that Talle has committed a crime? This is all I can remember from the novel. For biology questions came mostly from evolution, cells, nutrition, food chain, etc. For physics, we have more questions about temperature, force, momentum, scalar quantity, magnetism, etc For chemistry we have many questions from thermometer (temperature and heat), organic chemistry, equilibrium, waves, etc. We were given 2 hours to answer the questions and the time was located at the top right-hand side of the system with your subjects' combination. A built-in calculator was made available for use in the system. Before each candidate was asked to start the exam we were also told to read the instructions very well and carefully. keyboards and mouse were all available for us after you have finished you will be asked to 'End exam' and submit . Then on your screen, the computer will tell you that you have successfully submitted the exams and you can now leave the hall. The cam was a success and my good result is the trophy.
JAMB UTME Experience by Abiodun John I sat for the JAMB UTME on 9th of May at 7 am. My center was Malicomp computers at Ifako Ijaye. I got there by 6:45. I tried to enter with my face cap on (I forgot it was still on my head), but was stopped at the entrance and instructed to remove the cap before entering. When I entered the compound, a woman in a security uniform used metal detector to scan me before she allowed me enter the holding room. I saw a lot of candidates on a queue waiting for their turn to go through the biometric verification process. I joined joined behind the last person on the queue. As i was in line there was a man who wanted to do his own, when he was told to remove his face mask, the man doing the biometrics just shouted 'femi long time no see, no worry ajeh you go pass, abi we go see next year?' omo people just dey burst laugh. I think at 7:10, the invigilators started arranging us in order to enter the exam room, We were instructed to enter the exam hall in sets (50 each) according to our seat number i.e 001-050, 051-100, 100-150, and so on. The exam hall was spacious and conducive. We were told not to touch anything that they would tell us when to start. One of the invigilators came in to tell us that they have about 12-13 CCTV cameras in the room so we should better behave ourselves, another one came in and said that if we make noise that she would tear our.... she paused, that was when her brain was able to process that it is a CBT exam not a paper exam. someone on my line then whispered that is it the computer or the mouse the woman wan tear...they sha delayed the hell out of us, some candidates' keyboard were faulty and replaced before the exam commenced. We started around few minutes to 8. Those who sat for the exam.the previous day complained about incomplete questions but ours were intact, no error. There were no other technical difficulties apart from some faulty keyboards (mine was ok). I forgot to mention that somehow one girl wanted to sneak her phone but was caught even before she did her biometrics, they sha forgave her because she haven't started the exam. well the place was environmental friendly and conducive.
JAMB Exam Experience: Power Failure My exam was scheduled for 7 am. Well, there was a heavy rainfall this morning which continued till some minutes before 7 am. On getting to my center (Babson ICT Center, Ondo), the first gate was locked, I had to get to the other gate which was quite a distance. I was able to quickly do that because I reside in the town, I wonder how those outside Ondo (people who were assigned Ondo but came from Akure) were able to get to the 2nd gate. On getting to the center some minutes after 7 am, no official was in sight. We were wandering around the school until someone called us and notified us of the right venue. I immediately noticed a camera outside the center, I would later discover that they were 6 in total. 5 were inside. As soon as the officials came, they poured fuel into the industrial generator and put it on, it worked well for some minutes until suddenly...probably because of the wet environment near the generator a wire bridged and cause an electrical fire. The officials were able to quickly put off the Gen before serious damage was caused. That set us back a while again as they went to look for an engineer and buy new wire. While that was going on, the JAMB official from Abuja addressed us and we commenced with thumbprint verification. About 30 - 45 minutes after I had done my thumbprint verification, we were eventually ushered in. The only COVID-19 protocol that was slightly followed was the use of nose masks. No washing hand basin, no sanitizer, no temperature check. Remember I told you earlier that there are 5 cameras inside. We signed in and commenced our exams without any hitch. There were no security officials, only pencil was allowed (although I took my biro in) and no provision was made for a working sheet for science students. 2 hours, 60 questions in English, 40 in the other 3 subjects. The on-screen calculator worded fine, it can only solve basic stuff though, addition, division, subtraction, and multiplication. No square, no root, no log. 😥😢 I didn't take my phone there so I can't state the exact time we started, but when I got out it was just a few minutes after 11 am. Because I stopped with about 20 minutes left, I can deduce we started around 9:30 am
Short-term Quick Remedies Some will sign up, go through the program a little, and in 4 days, they make their first money and that's it, they abandon the other training. This is the problem with Nigerians, we like quick solutions - short-term quick remedies. This is because by the time money starts coming in you won't have time anymore to do through the program. And in no time, you'll hit a problem you can't solve simply because you didn't complete the program. If you want success (as fast as possible) live your life as though your parents were dead and you are all your lovely siblings have in this world. Your mindset will be different from everyone else. Your decisions will be different, and the actions you take will be different. The fear of being broke and an overgrown failure later in life should keep you up at night. Unless you don't give a shit about your life and how it affects others in the long run. Value - that's the beginning. Businesses value individuals who can train them on how to successfully run an ad on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms. That's an example of a high-income digital skill. If you possess this skill, you can easily get a job from home. If you do not but have access to a course on the problem (Social Media Ads), you can simply recommend it to the business owner as an affiliate (affiliate marketing) and earn a commission. A lot of people in the US have issues with marriage, cooking, health, and so on, some just need notebooks for school journals, etc. And they go to Amazon daily buying tons of books that can solve their problems. Yeah, and you can create a 30 - 59 page valuable solution to these problems and upload it on Amazon. But... Recommend useful products created by others to people who want them and can pay for them as an affiliate marketer or create valuable books on Amazon. As simple as these two sound, you will barely make 50k monthly, talk less than 6 figures weekly. It's not enough to be valuable and has a skill or product or service. No. There are basic skills like customer research, market research, writing sales copies, running ads or organic marketing (free traffic), structuring a sales funnel, sales closing, and so on. Do they sound strange? Well, everyone making good money legitimately online learned the sales and marketing of their products, service, or skill. They started with one training and mentorship program or the other. Skills don't nearly matter as much as your mindset, attitude, and circle. Some results can come when there is a change. It can be as simple as getting a circle that will push you to take more action. A good circle can change your mindset positively.
JAMB UTME Experience by Eze: Endeavour to go Early JAMB MOCK EXAM EXPERIENCE. EXAMINATION TOWN: ENUGU EXAM CENTRE NAME:IMT DIGITAL LEARNING MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE CAMPUS 3 As usual jamb and its exams are demanding, though not that much in my center. I did everything I could and got to my center a few minutes past 7 and on reaching there, I saw a large number of people who also came to write the mock exam. We waited outside for some time, close to an hour before the next step started. COVID-19 protocols were fully observed, we were forced to put on our nose mask and those who had no nose mask on were not attended to and was told to get one else they won't be allowed into the hall, hence exam forfeiture, and there were people selling pen, nose mask, pencil and even food outside. Before the thumbprinting started we were told to queue up and they checked our slip, then we were told to go and wash our hands. Dring the thumbprinting, I discovered many students were unable to do theirs because they were in the wrong center and some were not even shortlisted for the exam, so it's advisable to reprint your slip long before the commencement of the main exam to avoid stories that touch the heart, after the thumb printing they let us in, where some of us were told to sit on our main exam seat and others didn't because of one problem or the other and mostly related to the computer. There were security agents there particularly I saw some civil defense female corp members When we were entering I discovered there were CCTVs and AC fully working and the whole place was cold. So when we had all entered the hall and sat down, we had someone walking around and telling us what to do and also to stay away from actions and things that could implicate us, shortly after then, we were all told to start by logging in with our reg number. Sorry! NB: we were not allowed to take anything aside from our reprinted slip When we started I discovered not much different from the previous one, -Time was located at the top right hand -Both keyboard and mouse were working -the subjects were arranged at the top(navigation) -As usual, the questions were; 60 English, 40 physics, 40 biologies, and 40 chemistry -some questions had no correct answers in their options. When we were some minutes into the exam I saw some students who were outside because they came late, pleading with one of the officials to take their thumbprints and allow them in, but the man refused, and later I saw someone driving them outside the gate. Please I advise we all do everything possible to be in our various centers very early to avoid stories that touched the heart!!
JAMB Experience by Adaku Indeed I'll say it's good to have an experience before the Main Jamb examination since it helps boost your confidence and you get to find out your weak points. My Jamb was scheduled to hold at E-District, Plot 78, Beside De Umahs Hotel, Igbo Etche, Rivers state on Saturday by 7:00 am. I started my journey to Igbo-etche by 5:00 am so I could meet up for the exam. I got there at exactly 7:10 am and was having the mindset that the examination have started but to my greatest surprise, the thumbprinting process was being carried out, So I quickly joined the line, but before that, I was stopped at the gate by some security personnel and told to remove anything that'll implicate me like a wristwatch, rings, pen. The only thing I was allowed to carry inside was my pencil and exam slip. After the thumbprinting process, we were told to have our sit in the waiting hall. You're expected to have your nose mask with you( please try to go to your exam center on time, you might not know if they'll keep to time). My exam was supposed to commence at exactly 7:00 am but then we were still in the waiting hall till 7:30 am. At exactly 8:00 am we were told to get prepared as we will commence the exam soon. We were called in according to our seat numbers At my center, we were not provided with any rough sheet so we used our exam slip(please don't forget to bring your exam slip during the main exam to avoid being in tears). When I entered the examination hall, I noticed two invigilators were supervising the hall, The CCTV camera was also present there. Before the examination commenced, our invigilators gave us some advice concerning the exam we are about to write, which was indeed helpful. You're not expected to talk with the person beside you once the examination starts as the CCTV camera will be switched on. The computer system had already been put on for us, so you're not expected to switch it on yourself. Finally, the examination commenced, everything was put in the hands of God and I started. The first thing you're expected to do is to put in your registration number and once you've done that you click on the candidate's login and you'll see your picture and exam subject. Please read the instructions carefully before you start the exam. After I was done reading the instructions I started the exam. At the top of your computer, you'll see your UTME subject(You can start from anyone) and then the time was also there at the top and was read in minutes. I made sure my system was in order by trying out the mouse and keyboard and they were both working( you can use both the mouse and keyboard at the same time). Key A- option a Key B- option b Key C- option c Key D- option d Key N- Next to move over to another question Key P- Previous to go back to the questions you've answered Key S- Submit, you must click twice to show you want to submit Key Y- Reverse to return to the exam page if you mistakenly clicked Key S once but once you click Key S twice you're done with the exam. There were four subjects and the onscreen calculator was also in use and was working perfectly. For English, there are 60 questions with the Life Changer under this. For chemistry, there are 40 questions For physics, there are 40 questions For Biology, there are 40 questions. Only English comprise 60 questions, The total time given for the exam was 2 hours(120 minutes) I didn't experience any difficulties during the exam, the exam went smoothly. I finished the exam 10 minutes before the time and clicked on the end exam.
UTME Experience: Time Waits For No One Leaving my abode at about 6:10 am hoping to get to Huntsville Technology Limited before 7 am my heart paced as I was earnestly praying for a road free of congestion. The proverb "time waits for no one" continuously resonated in my mind, to make matters worse we missed our route making us expend additional time getting there. On getting to the exam center at 7:20 am, I was glad to see that students were still in the process of entering, so I joined the queue. We were asked to submit our bags and other materials except for our slip and pencil. We were asked to put on our nose mask in compliance with the COVID-19 protocols though we weren't given sanitizers nor was social distancing observed. There was a quick security check by the security officers present after which was the biometric data verification. The biometric verification wasted a lot of time as the fingerprint sensor (just one) didn't detect prints fast enough. After the verification process, we immediately located our seats. The examination room was well ventilated with "Air Conditioners" AC and Closed Circuit Television "CCTV cameras" at every corner. The room had about seven invigilators; while some directed us to our seats, some had to do with the technical part and there was, the "head invigilator" as she was seen directing other invigilators. When we were all fully settled the invigilators asked us to press the start button as indicated on the screen, immediately after this we saw a pane warning about "examination malpractice" and a button that asked us to proceed to the examination. While I started by inputting my examination number and the login process was done, I moved on to a page showing my name, reg number, and passport photograph amongst others like the instructions of the examination which is the replica of 2020's. Meanwhile, few students had technical issues and didn't even get beyond the initial start button. While the hitch in some systems was cleared by simply rebooting it which gave me the opportunity of seeing that the real name of the app is "auto-bot jamb browser" and not RAPID Test as often displayed. Other faulty systems had to be changed, this technical difficulty lasted over 45mins which made some students just start while others were already about 1 hour into their examination. Apart from that, no other technical issue was recorded as the CBT interface went all well. We were allowed to take only a pencil and there was no provision for rough sheets which made many candidates use their examination slips as an alternative. We were asked a total of 180 questions in English-60, and 40 each for the other three subjects, depending on your combo. Selection of answers was also easy as we were provided with both a mouse and a keyboard. I noticed an interesting feature of the on-screen calculator as it accepted keyboard commands which were previously unknown to me and not written in the instructions part of the examination. I experimented with this cool feature as it helped in saving time expended in using the mouse for calculation. The number keys were the same, full stop(.) for decimal points, an asterisk(*) for multiplication, slash (/) for division, plus (+), subtraction (-), and equal to(=) signs worked as normal. It is almost similar to a normal computer calculator just that this one is restricted as it performs just basic operations. Also, there was something quite questionable and that was when the head invigilator suddenly said "30 minutes more" this got me and also other students nervous as the exam itself is timed. She kept the count down rolling until she finally said "1 minute more" after which she went into the server room and automatically submitted and ended everyone's exam. Luckily for me, I was done though I had about 12 mins left. My deepest concern was to those who had technical problems as they were yet to complete plenty of questions and also had an outstanding time of over 45mins. This scenario kept me wondering as to why she did that, "could it be that they were trying to conserve resources", For me, the exam was a success.
JAMB UTME: Get to Your Center Early I left home at 6:24 am, I was already freaking out that I was going to get to my center late. But, I was able to locate my center easily, because it is a well-known secondary school around my axis. The verification process was very organized. The officials in charge were so docile and relatable. I was surprised when I saw security officials at the gate, a male and a female, like I said earlier, the process was organized, we were asked to queue, boys in a line, girls in another line. The female security searched the females and vice versa. However, I was disappointed that the examination which was meant to commence at 7 am, commenced at 6 minutes after 10. Another thing that surprised me was the CCTV cameras in the examination hall. To my utmost surprise, the COVID-19 protocols were not adhered to, there was no temperature 🌡️ check at the entrance, there was no provision to wash our hands, and only a few candidates and officials were putting on their face masks. I remember vividly that there were 3 invigilators with us, I mean duh 🙄 , it was just yesterday, haha 😂. There were technical glitches, the server connected to our computers had an issue and most of us had complaints about our computers. But, as I mentioned earlier they were organized, they had someone who handled the glitch and it our computers was back to normal. I was shocked when some candidates who needed to solve were allowed to take in their pencils. Because I have heard a lot of stories like you wouldn't be allowed to take anything into the examination hall. Nobody was allowed to take in a rough sheet, they were to use their mock slip which we were required to bring to the exam center with us. The computers were already powered when we got into the hall, we just had to input our registration number and start our examination. My UTME combination is government, CRS, English, and literature. so, for government -40 questions, CRS- 40 questions, English - 60 questions, and literature- 40 questions. provisions were made for both a mouse and a keyboard. Although, I used the mouse because I am better with it. I don't know if the onscreen calculator functioned properly because I had to reason to use it. I ensured I ended my examination 30 minutes after the end of the exam to avoid stories that touches, so I have no idea if the computer shut down automatically. I think candidates who would be sitting for the next examination should know is get to your center early, The exam board is unpredictable, study hard, and don't hesitate to tell the invigilators about any technical issue they notice before the exam start and also follow instructions.
Locate Your Center Prior to Exam My center was at PRIME TOUCH COMPUTER, PLOT 5 & 6, BESIDE GZI COMPANY AREA 5, OPIC ESTATE, IPERIN, OGUN STATE. This particular location was along Agbara. Permit me to travel back in time, when I did the reprint to check my exam center and saw that particular address since I didn't have any idea about the place, I searched it on Google map but to my utmost dismay, the address wasn't on Google map. So I decided to break the address down into smaller constituents. After about an hour, I was able to locate it using the name of the company beside it, but something still baffles me though, that particular prime touch school as big as it is, is not on Google Maps. I don't know why it is like that though.🤔 Due to how far the place is from my area, I left the house around 5:30 am. I met a fellow candidate on my way to the place and on getting to the bus stop, we asked people for directions and we were able to locate the place just in time, on getting there, the verification and thumbprinting were just about to start. I arrived at the location a few minutes past 7 a.m. The verification process was quite easy. We just thumb printed and entered straight into the exam hall. There were security officials on the ground but I only noticed one and he arrived around 7:30 am and also complained about the fact that he was not able to locate the place easily. The exam didn't commence at the exact time and I couldn't check the time the exam commenced because we were already inside but after the whole exam, the time was 11 am so I guessed the exam started around 9 am since it was a two-hour paper. There were CCTV cameras in the hall. I don't know how many but CCTV cameras were present. There was adherence to the use of face masks but there were no hand sanitizers though and much attention wasn't given to spacing, in short, covid 19 procedures were not strictly adhered to at my center. There were about seven invigilators in the hall. There weren't any technical issues with my laptop though, all the questions were complete, there were no blank options, and I was able to finish my exams without any technical issues. We were only allowed to go in with pencils, am not sure the use of biro was allowed. There was no provision for rough sheets, I used my exam slip for calculations. On getting to my seat, I met the system already turned on, all we need to do was just to input our registration number and start the exam. So weren't required to power on the system ourselves. There was a total of 180 questions, 60 for use of English and 40 each for the remaining subjects. My subject combination was the use of English, mathematics, chemistry, and physics. There was provision for a keyboard and mouse but since I used a laptop so I used the laptop mouse and keyboard. I noticed that the laptop wasn't working properly so I use the keyboard to pick my answers, A for option A, B for option B, C for option C and D for option D, N for the next question, P for the previous question, arrows keys use to scroll up and down the exam page and S for submit. On the laptop screen, I was also able to switch from one subject to another at will. I didn't get the chance to use the S key though as my exam submitted itself automatically 🥺. I used the laptop mouse whenever I wanted to use the on-screen calculator, the calculator worked properly. My system shut down automatically when my time elapsed. I asked one invigilator the implications, he said I shouldn't be worried because the system already submitted it automatically. I didn't encounter any technical issues throughout the exam, everything went on smoothly. There weren't many irregularities in the process. Aside from the fact that time wasn't adhered to, everything else went on smoothly. Oh, less I forget, we also didn't sit down according to our seat number. Other candidates that were not able to participate in the mock because of various reasons should also note that the exam was quite easy but technical. In the use of English, there were a few questions on "LIFE CHANGER". There were questions on the register, comprehension passage, synonyms, antonyms, sounds ( vowel, consonants), stress, and emphatic stress. There were also fill-in-the-gaps questions and sentence interpretations. Mathematics was also quite easy, there were questions on sets, AP and GP, circle geometry, surd, logarithms, and a host of many others. Chemistry was quite technical, questions on organic chemistry, the naming of organic compounds were prevalent, chemical equilibrium, electrolysis, stoichiometry, and many more. In physics, questions cut across topics like sound waves, concave and convex lenses, separating techniques, upthrust, weight e.t.c
My Examination Experience by Charles I got to my center a few minutes before 7:00 am for it was not hard to locate. When I got there, the gate was locked and a lot of candidates were in vehicles and waiting while some were under shades because it was raining. About two minutes later, an official came in and opened the gates. Covid-19 regulations were observed and some security officials did security checks. We were only allowed to take with us a pencil and our examination slip. We were taken to a room where our biometrics were confirmed and we were directed to our seats. After everyone had been screened, science students were given a sheet of paper for rough calculations. We were required to fill the paper with our registration and examination numbers. After this was done, the examination started properly. The examination was ok. Before we got there, the computers had already been powered on. The software interface was user-friendly. The center was strictly monitored by five invigilators. We could all see the CCTV cameras and we were assured that they were working fine. When you get to the center and you are asked to sit on your chair, your computer plays a video after which you are taken to a page that cautions against examination malpractice. Below that page, you will see two buttons, "replay video" and "proceed to the next page". You will then be advised to click on the button that reads "proceed to the next page" after which you'll be taken to a page that requires you to input your registration number. After completing that, you will be taken to a page that shows your details and the examination guidelines which include; • The key N on your keyboard can be used to take you to the next question. • The key P on your keyboard can be used to take you to the previous question. • The down arrow key on your keyboard can be used to scroll down the page. • The up arrow key on your keyboard can be used to scroll up the page. • The key A on your keyboard can be used to select options A. • The key B on your keyboard can be used to select option B. • The key C on your keyboard can be used to select option C. • The key D on your keyboard can be used to select option D. • The key S on your keyboard can be used to submit your work, so be careful not to click on it. • the key Y is to confirm your submission. It is either you follow the above guidelines or you use the mouse provided. After this, you are to click on the button that reads "start examination". Immediately, you will be taken to a page where you will see your picture and details, you are required to scroll up the page. If you don't, you will think you have not started your attempt, unknowing you that your questions are up on that page. When you scroll up, you will see your questions and at the top of the page, you will see options that include the different subjects you are offering and the calculator. The calculator appears once clicked and you are required to click on the required values to be calculated. Perchance you have any issue, you are required to call the attention of the invigilator(s). Once you are done, you are to click on submit and confirm it. **Glitches** I noticed some technical glitches. Apart from the fact that I got several pop-ups showing a poor connection, two questions in Physics were incomplete. The first one had to do with heat, the question required us to find the power rating of a heater but the time in minutes was omitted. Also, a question involving the determination of temperature was not completed as the resistance at the steam point was not also given. UTME Experience by Godwin Another candidates shares his JAMB UTME experience. My center was at Balad CBT Center, Agric Ishawo Lagos State. Finding the center was not difficult at all as my dad who is already familiar with the place took me there. I arrived at the venue by some minutes to seven and the place was already filled to the brim. Thinking I was already late, I started panicking. But on getting to the venue and seeing the number of people at the gate entrance, I was a little bit relieved. The candidates were cleared to enter the gates while the parents who brought their wards were asked to stay outside the gate. The candidates were divided into two groups which were those for center 1 and the others for center 2. Those In center 2 were taken to another part of the building while those in center 1 remained. We sat for about 30 minutes before the biometric screening began. There were about five security officials who searched us thoroughly, making sure we did not enter the hall with anything at all. Those with wristwatches, necklaces, bangles, and every other thing of such were asked to take them off. We were only allowed into the hall with pencils (pens weren't allowed), and our exam slips. The exam did not commence at the stated time mostly because we spent most of the time on the biometric screening. Going into the hall, I was able to count about 7-8 CCTV cameras lodged at various corners of the hall. The hall was very spacious with a 200+ holding capacity. We were directed to our seat numbers and we settled down. There were about 5 invigilators in the room. The COVID-19 protocols were not strictly adhered to as there were only face masks and nothing more. No social distancing, spacing, etc. When everyone was settled, a man came in to address us telling us how to use the seven keys available which were a,b,c,d,p,n,s,r, and y. He also told us how to use the mouse by left-clicking and dragging. He told us we can either use the mouse or the keyboard or both at the same time. The computers were in good working conditions though. There was no complaint of faulty computers during the exam. During the exam, one of the invigilators went around sharing sheets containing spaces where our exam and registration numbers were to be filled. The sheets also contained spaces where we could do some calculations. There was no need to power on the system as it was already powered on when we got there. All we had to do was type in our registration numbers and click login and we were set to go. For me, I did the Use of English, physics, biology, and chemistry in that order. The use of English comprised 60 questions; 5 from compression passage, 10 from cloze passage, some questions on interpretation, oral English, emphatic stress antonyms, and synonyms, and also questions from the Life Changer novel. The questions revolved around Talle and his escapades. For biology, 40 questions on different topics like evolution, seed germination, mode of nutrition, pollution, ecosystem, etc. For chemistry, 40 questions from topics like carbohydrates, cracking and reforming, mole concepts, volumetric analysis, etc. And for physics, 40 questions also was available on topics like electrolysis, wave, motion, and so many others I cannot recall. I made sure I attempted all the questions, both the ones I knew and the ones I wasn't too sure of both, all the same, I did my best. I was able to use the onscreen calculator very well. Before the exam, I heard rumors from people who had written jamb before that the inbuilt calculator was useless, but now I can testify that it was not useless to me at all. I was able to use it in the aspect of calculations and it did not fail me. None in the hall experienced any technical issues. For me, I finished even before the time was up. When the invigilators say " start" it doesn't matter if u start after 20 mins because when u log in to ur questions the time still says 2 hrs but u have already used 20 mins out of ur time. One boy actually started 20 mins after the invigilators asked us to start. And when his time remained only 20 mins, his system switched off automatically indicating his end of the exam. All things being equal, the exam was a wonderful experience, especially for debutants(first-timers) like me. It was very enjoyable. Even though most people were not able to finish before the allotted time we still had an amazing time.,
Phew! What an Exam JAMB UTME 2022 is out! Finally, JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board) has released the much-awaited results of the just concluded UTME. But at the time of writing this post the results have not been released online (JAMB portal), it can only be checked via SMS. To check their UTME result, candidates are to send UTMERESULT to 55019 using the phone number they used to generate their profile code during registration. The details of the result will be received as a response. A service fee of 50 nairas will be charged by the network provider. Let's are another exam experience today. The location and time of my UTME were at Holy Rosary, Akokwa, and by 7 am. I have located the center 2 days before the exam so locating it on my exam day wasn't an issue. I got there after 6 am though it was a bit dark. Few people were there so I wasn't alone. The Centre was located in a busy environment but the center was distinguished except for the big gen or is it called Milkano that developed a fault. They brought whatever they fill inside the Milkano, diesel or fuel, I didn't confirm and put it to start, it didn't start, and they kept on trying until it responded. When we entered the building, security men searched us and told us to wash our hands in an appointed place and to put on nose marks too. I complied and followed others to a room where we sat till they started verifying us by checking the printout, doing thumbprinting, and collecting bags or any foreign material. Later the verification, we were ordered to go upstairs for our exams, it was a storey building. So we trooped in. Getting there, another search was conducted and the hall was super spacious. You could stretch both arms without touching anyone. I sat at the edge of the hall. CCTV cameras were in each corner but I can't tell for sure if they are working. They looked like they were working anyways. We waited for other candidates I think so because everything was in order. No glitches, no malfunctioning of keyboards or mouses as far as I noticed. Then we started shortly after, we were shown a video on how to answer the exam. The video entails: Using A= For option A B= option B C= option C D= option D S= Submit P= Previous Question N= Next question and how to log in. Then we were told to press next, that was the time for logging in. I put my Reg. No. and it showed my questions and my picture on the left. The calculator was at the top center, the 120mins time at the top right, and the subjects at the top left. The Previous and Next buttons were at the bottom left. English had 60 questions and other subjects had 40. We were also told by the invigilators to use mouse if we wished to. The CBT environment was not that different from other years and there wasn't anything new about the exam. The invigilators were 6; 4 strict males and 2 more strict ladies. Though we started and finished early it didn't begin by 7 am and end by 9 am as planned. The only material we were allowed to take was a pen or pencil, no paper but I took my printout in, alongside others. The calculator is just too simple, it featured plus, minus, division and multiplication, and of course numbers. no square root and other advanced features. I exhausted 115 minutes of my time. Many have left already. After submitting, I saw on my computer screen, "You can now leave the examination hall". Before I could start going out of the hall, the few people that were left there to finish their time started crying saying that their system has automatically turned off. What do they expect, time has elapsed. They were cautioned against noise making and ordered out of the hall. Apart from that, every process was smooth and steady except for my aching stomach. I didn't eat before going.
JAMB UTME Experience by Candidates Some candidates share their JAMB UTME experience. Henry's Experience: I sat for the exam today. My exam was at 7:00 am, I got there by 6:28 am, I then went to drop off my phone before getting into the school gate. I mate two security officers man, a woman and also students so the security man checked me to know if there was any incriminating object with me but there wasn't after that I went for biometric in that section I saw three people two women and one man, two was operating the biometric machines which I was confirmed true after that one I then waited on seats there with others after instructions we were called to get into the exam hall there were two-three CCTV camera outside, when we reached the exam hall I noticed that there were many CCTV cameras in that hall, ac, one wall clock, there were five invigilators there, we were all present, I found a seat with my seat number, I noticed that the computer there was on with written which says "rapid test welcome" by the time I log in I saw my picture and my reg number, I noticed there was time on the right top corner of the computer, calculator at the center top followed by my subjects left, I started by 7:5am and stopped by 8:45. I wrote four subjects which include Biology chemistry physics and English. In English questions were asked for these: comprehension, synonyms, antonyms oral English, word completion, life changer, and lexis and structure. In biology: evaluation theory, flower, animal kingdom, cells, mutation, rainforest, and adaptive features. In physics:electricity, ohms, conduct, wave, gravitational field, and heat. In chemistry:organic chemistry, oxidation and redox reaction, enthalpy change, equilibrium constant, bond, chemical equation, boys law. Those are the ones I can remember because my phone was before came out of the school so I couldn't report immediately. Chinedu's experience: All success to people that wrote today.. one of the funniest exams is biology I mean like within mins I was through with it. biology was like a bonus for me the questions were too simple so maybe for me because I read two different textbooks for it Modern and hidden fact. after biology, I started cracking my head with calculations on physics and chemistry. English was easy but there was a little error in a few English questions, a question was repeated. For candidates writing next go and read Organic chemistry because I saw a question like esterification reaction the gave equation for it and asked the reverse reaction of esterification which is Hydrolysis. also electrolysis, solubility, oxidation and reduction, equilibrium position shifting one question to it is the reaction of catalyst can not affect shifting, I forget the way they ask it but catalyst does not have an effect on equilibrium shifting position. physics. magnetic field, gravitational field, vector, and more. In biology, there were questions on evolution, albinism, and more. But you know jamb will not set the same question. they are not stupid! Jacinta's experience: I wrote on the 9th of May, well I was to write by 7 am. My center was malicomp computers at ifako ijaye. I got there by 6:45. As I was about to enter I forgot that I had a face cap on, I was told to remove it at the gate. When I entered the compound, I was searched and later asked to enter. saw a queue of people lined up doing biometrics, I joined up with others to do mine, as I was in line there was a man who wanted to do his own, when he was told to remove his face mask, the man doing the biometrics just shouted 'Femi long time no see, no worry ajeh you go pass, abi we go see next year?' omo people just dey burst laugh. I think at 7:10, the invigilators started arranging for us to enter the exam room, we got in by sequence i.e 1-50, 51-100, 100-150.... and so on. The exam room could accommodate almost 200 students. We were told not to touch anything and that they would tell us when to start. We started around a few minutes to 8. Thankfully for the English, everything was intact i.e the comprehension and other vital instructions were there. there were no other technical difficulties apart from some faulty keyboards and mouse (mine was ok). I forgot to mention that a girl tried to sneak her phone but was caught even before she did her biometrics, they pardoned her because she entered the exam hall with it.
