I want to share my JAMB exam experience. This was how it started.
My location was Iperin. I've asked so many of my classmates where it was. Luckily 2 of my classmates were at the same location but none of them still knew the location. To my surprise, even Google Maps had no idea where the place was. So my dad asked one of his friends about the location so he found it on Friday. So on Saturday, the exam day, I woke my dad around 5.00 am and we left home by 5.30. The journey was too long I had to sleep during the journey. I passed through Covenant University wishing that my center was there because it just took us 20mins to pass there. We continued our journey but we still had to be cautious of the environment there. There was ongoing road construction going there. We reached there around 7.02 am and I saw students outside the school. One of my friends was there so I told my dad that I wanted to see him and that I would be right back. I went to see my friend and we talked for a while before students started entering the school.
As we were talking, my friend asked me for my face mask. Then I rushed back to my dad and asked him for a nose mask in the car, then he gave me it. We lined up and listened to the instructions given. We were told that if our mouse is not working, we can use the keyboard letters.

We all made our way to the last floor and verified our registration through fingerprint. Then we were assigned to go to the lab and sit quietly and not input our registration number into the system unless we would have problem when trying to write the exam. The verification process took longer than we expected. I was feeling bored not doing anything so I had to sleep. Many of us slept. So when the verification was over, we were instructed that the exam has commenced and that we should input our registration number. My computer was in sleep mode so I decided to on it. Before I entered my registration number, heavy rain started. I just remembered the saying which says "in everything u do in life, put for first". So a thought came to my mind that I must not fail this mock and that my dad cannot leave his business for me to fail. So I covered my activities in God's hands. Immediately I pressed the start exam button, My heart was beating heavily, then I decided to start with the subject that is my strength which is maths. I thought that we would all be given a sheet for solving maths. I had to use my mock slip to solve. I also felt weird using a pencil to solve because I was used to solving with a pen. Then as the questions were coming, I felt at ease because the questions were simple. I had to look around and check what others are doing then I noticed the cameras. To be honest, I have never seen that amount of cameras in a room. I also saw women wearing tags named 'JAMB PROCTOR' Then I remembered that when I was scrolling through my dictionary I saw the word proctor meaning 'invigilator'. Then I focused on what I was doing. Thank God there were no technical faults on my computer. Maths was 40 questions, English was 60 questions, Chemistry was 40 questions and physics was 40 questions. I was scared for a while because there was a calculation in maths that requires a calculator. Then I checked closely and noticed a calculator sign in a box so I clicked it and I was at ease. I used 1hr 51mins exactly. Of course, Maths took the most of my time.

JAMB UTME: Sharing the Experience
The JAMB UTME commenced a few days ago. While the exam is still ongoing in populated states like Lagos, candidates in some states like Ekiti state has concluded their examinations (3 days - May 6, 7, and 9). I asked some of these candidates to share their experiences during the examination and if possible some of the questions they can remember.
**Here is what they shared.**
**Stanley's experience**: I sat for the UTME exam at Evinok Connection Nig Ltd, 128C Old Refinery Road, Elelenwo, Rivers State
Mehn!!!! it was stressful at the beginning but ended successfully. The verification process didn't wast time as it was fast and orderly. We queued up to thumbprint (biometric verification). When it got to my turn, the lady in charge looked at the passport on my slip but wasn't convinced it was me. So I was asked to take off my nose mask 😷😅😅...
Yeah definitely there was securities all over.
That time on the your exam slip... nah scam be that😅😅. I was to write by 12 pm. Because of the distance, I left my house by 7 am and got to the CBT center by 10 am. I stood outside till 1 pm before verification even started, after verification we sat in the holding room for about 1 houre more before we got into the exam hall. An exam that was scheduled for 12 pm commenced after 2 pm😂😂.
Cause of anxiousness, I didn't check out for CCTV cameras 🤣 i think we had close to 8 invigilators, but only four attended to us. COVID-19 protocol that was observed was only no facemask no entry.
My English language first three questions, they just provided the options only, and my system was tripping off and on i had to hold the wire with my legs😅 that was the only technical issues i encountered and we were allowed to go in only with our printout and pencil. there was provision of rough sheet for calculations and it was optional😏
The system was already on for some people and others had to call the attention of invigilators to help them turn on their system. we had 60 questions in English language, i think 5 was from the novel(the life changer), then 40 questions each on the others making it total of 180 questions. there was provision of mouse and keyboard, but my mouse was stiff ehh, E no gree move fine, I had to use the keyboard at least with that i was more faster. I was enable to use the onscreen calculator, but i go advice make you try solve with your rough sheet that will be more faster too.
I finished mine exam 6mins remaining and I submitted and left the hall, so i no really know if those that didn't finish if their system of or not, but i believe it will submit by itself immediately if the time given elapses.
All I'll say to those that will be writing should just read and leave the rest for their God to do, the exam seems easy, but make we dey on low key first until we see our score 😂😂.
**Alabi's experience**: I wrote mine on 9th of May. The time on the computer was not followed at all. They gave everybody a general time. They shut down the systems at once.
English was easy, I thank GOD. Physiscs was good. Questions were asked from magnetic field,power, electric field intensity, waves, pipe frequency, reactance, etc. As for chemistry, im praying because it was a bit shaky for me. entropy and enthalpy, gibbs free, uses of acids, electrolysis, ores, molar volume, etc. My centre was at JC Best schools, Abuja.
**Dammy's experience**: The exam wasn't so bad. I was to start at 7 am and got there by 6 am where I met other students already doing their biometrics, we were scanned at the gate, you were to go in with just your slip and a pencil. After biometrics we were told to go to the hall where we would be writing the exams and as at 7:20 am we were all seated but weren't given the go ahead to start. They passed jamb worksheet round for those offering any calculation subjects and we were told to write our registration number on it but after the exams were over , we were told to submit the worksheet back. The exam was initially scheduled for 7am but we started by 8 am and ended at 10 am. There were no technical issues, no network failures, the exam hall was well ventilated and the ACs worked just fine. I won't say the exam was hard and i won't say it was easy it was just an average exam and if you've truly been preparing for it jamb this year would be a complete walkover for you.
**Stehanie's experience**: My experience? Well, we were all asked to off our ear rings, remove any form of rubber bands, no chains, no hoodies, no jewelries, your pencil mustn't have any eraser on it and no pen. We were searched with a cheat detector then we entered with our nose masks and located our seat number.
Omo! But the exam ehn😓!
Na maths kill me but was surprised I was able to do physics if no all. But sha, all thanks to God cause it was in another state and there was no kidnapping, no accident. I will advise those yet to write to read physics, chemistry, English and mathematics very well.

**Veronica's Advice**: wrote my exam at HSS Amazing CBT, Ogun State. On entering, we were delayed for almost two hours. The questions were not that tough maybe it's bcuz I mostly solve past questions.
I'll advice you to keep practicing on past questions, even hours before exam bcuz I saw some questions I practiced this morning during exam.

JAMB UTME: May 6 - Exam Experience and Questions
The JAMB UTME has commenced and and candidates scheduled to sit for the exam on 6th and 7th has done so. Though there were challenges at some centers that led to rescheduling of the exam for some candidates whose CBT centers had technical issues that prevented the conduct of the examination. Some candidates shared their experience with us and I wish to share these experiences with you.
Let's start with Ebuka's experience.
Ebuka: I had jamb on the 6th of May, there were 180 questions in total.
My examination center was at State Primary School 1, Borokiri Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The exam was scheduled to start by 7 am although we did not start by 7 am. I got there by 6 am. Before entering the school premises we were searched thoroughly. we went in with only our registration slip, pencil, eraser, and sharpener. we didn't actually sanitize or wash our hands but we put on face masks. After all the necessary procedures like search, biometric verification, etc, we were told to stay in one of the classrooms. we waited for more than an hour before one of the invigilators came into the waiting room to instruct us on what to do when we got into the auditorium (examination hall) and how to use the computer for the test. We were allowed to use the restroom before going into the examination hall.
When we got in, we were instructed to sit according to our seat numbers as indicated on our examination slip and we are not to touch anything (computer) until we were told to. The invigilators changed the sitting position of some candidates that had faulty computers or network issues. When all the candidates were ready, we were told to enter our registration number in the text box and click on "Candidate login" to start the examination.
There were CCTV cameras at strategic corners of the hall and there were more than 5 invigilators in the hall. They warned us against examination malpractice. Even at that, 3 candidates were sent out of the hall because they didn't adhere to the instructions given to us about examination malpractice.
For Use of English, there were some errors, for the synonyms and antonyms, some of the questions did not have instructions, and we didn't know if we were to give the nearest meaning or nearly opposite of the words. The words for synonyms and antonyms were Malevolence, frivolous, accent, bogus, complacent, august, mutual, repealed, humdrum, impertinent, sagacity, hat-trick, etc. When I told one of the invigilators about the error, he told me to skip the questions and save my time.
Other parts of Use of English: there was a comprehension passage about man and mosquito. the questions were pretty easy to answer. we were given the normal lexis and structure where you have a passage and you are expected to fill in the gaps. the passage was about reading writing listening and speaking (literacy skills). We were also given word stress (characterize and continental), emphatic stress, and sentence interpretation

For Biology, the questions were from; transport system, genetics, excretory system, ecology, adaptation, reproductive system, digestive system, evolution, etc.
For Physics, the questions were from; energy quantization, forces, heat transfer, and heat change, R LC circuits, A.C circuits, waves, electrolysis(copper), gas laws ( Charles law), dimensions and units, etc.
For Chemistry, the questions were from; gas laws ( Charles law), particulate nature of matter, water, air, electrolysis, acid bases and salts, metals, non-metals, organic chemistry, etc.
A candidate offering Arts shared some questions from the three major arts subjects - GOvernment, Literature, and Christian Religious Studies.

JAMB UTME: Exam Strategies
With the JAMB UTME about to start some candidates shared their exam strategies. Here are some candidates' strategies that help them ace their exams.
Chinedu: Two tips from me!!
First, remember that a major key to acing any test or exam is having the right mindset. Take a few minutes to calm down any way you can. You could hum your favorite tune or take deep breaths or chew gum (before the exam...don't be obnoxious). This isn't just about how much you know, but about how well you can answer. And you need a good frame of mind to answer well.
Next, approach the questions with an appreciation of time. It's common knowledge that even if you know all the answers, you'll essentially get nothing for your efforts if you can't answer everything on time. So, keep a watchful eye on the clock and try to answer as much as you can within the space of the time given. Don't spend all your time on Physics when you know you answer Biology better...
Femi: My strategy is to pray before starting. if you read, the Holy Spirit helps you remember. if you are confused, he can clear your head. He is a great teacher yunno.
Another one is to endeavor to read all the options before answering.
don't spend all the time on one question.
some questions required just your common sense. so use it there. especially those doing non-science subjects. Some also require that you borrow knowledge from here and there. put the pieces of the puzzle together and here goes your answer.
whatever you do crosscheck las las and you should be time conscious
Grace: I don't know about others but I'm always tensed a day before the exam and on the exam day I just take it as it goes....my point is don't let the pressure override you. just do your thing the way you feel it will suit you, remember what works for Mr.A might not work for Mr. B.
just know your strength and weaknesses and as long as you know within yourself that you are prepared then there's really no cause for alarm.
I feel that everyone has a strategy they think is best. Whichever strategy you're using is a means to the end. Just make sure you don't mount unnecessary pressure on yourself by trying all your best to answer a hard question when some others are left unanswered, perhaps the unanswered questions might be more simple - who knows?
Sometimes our brain like playing tricks on us that we can't find the answer to a question even if we're well-grounded in its topic. That's why it's good to skip questions that seem difficult and come back to them. By the time you revisit a question, if it once looked strange, it might now look familiar (God Willing).

JAMB UTME 2022: Strategies to Beat the Exam
I want to believe all is set for the JAMB 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) which commences May 6, 2022. It is expected that JAMB, its CBT centers, security officials, and candidates have adequately prepared for the exams.
For some days, we have shared talking points about the experiences of some candidates during the JAMB Mock that was held on April 9, 2022. Today, we'll share the strategies that have helped some candidates excel in the JAMB UTME.
Let's get to it.
Strategies to beat JAMB UTME
One thing I learned during my CBT practice and decided to always put to use is to leave the use of English for the last because it contains comprehension passages and more questions than other subjects so I put it on hold. Answering the other subjects gives me enough time to finish, go back to the Use of English, and even ample time to cross-check before submitting my work.
And you can answer The English language questions on time. If so, the technique is to leave comprehension questions and answer all other questions on the use of English and then come back to the comprehension passages. For the comprehension passages, I find that it always helps to read the question before reading the passage. This makes it easier for you to easily locate whatever it is you're looking for in the passage and it is a great method for those that quickly scan through a passage although complete understanding is definitely encouraged..lol😋.
I also use mental timing and don't look at the time stipulated on the system every time 😅. I find that it puts you on unnecessary edge and pressure that you don't need in an examination. What I do is I check my time every time I complete a subject and not every time I answer 1 or 2 questions. It definitely helps to be relaxed and calm.
Even if the time is almost up still... farabalẹ and answer your questions because being calm is a great factor in ensuring you get correctly those questions that you even attempted before the time was up😊
That said, I'll say that what subject you start with depends on you. Some people prefer starting with the hardest subject while others prefer starting with the simplest ones. Also as aforementioned focusing on the time pressures you, and sometimes lead you to answer the questions wrongly when you know the correct answers. Take your exams off the timer, but don't forget there is time. Put simply, be aware of the time but don't focus on it.
In the case of not knowing the answer to any question, you can try the elimination method. Eliminate options you are confident are not correct, this leaves you with fewer options to pick from.
Nervous during exams?
Let's read how David shakes off his nervousness during examinations.
"I get easily nervous that my brain could get stuck so d first thing I do is to calm down for a minute and take some deep breaths before starting and ensure my hands are not shaking by rubbing my palms together. It prevents my nervousness from ruining my exam. I also start with subjects that involve more calculation and then proceed to those with little to no calculation. This is because towards the end of an exam I get nervous again when the time is running out, then I can't calculate with a clear mind. I understood myself and came up with this strategy and during my JAMB exam, I submitted with 13 minutes left and scored 269 in jamb. You have to understand yourself and do what works for you.

JAMB: Exam Slip, Schedule and Timing
The JAMB UTME Examination Slip printing has commenced. Candidates are to print their slip and know there examination schedule - venue, date and time.
Today, we'll talk about the examination slip, schedule, biometric verification, and timing. But first let's look at the experience of a candidate during the JQMB Mock 2022.
JAMB Mock experience by Godwin
As usual jamb and its exams are demanding, though not that much in my center.
I did everything I could and got to my center a few minutes past 7 am and on reaching there, I saw a large number of people who also came to write the mock exam. We waited outside for some time, close to an hour before the next step started.
Covid-19 protocols were fully observed, we were forced to put on our nose mask and those who had no nose mask on were not attended to and was told to get one else they won't be allowed into the hall, hence exam forfeiture, and there were people selling pen, nose mask, pencil and even food outside.
Before the thumbprinting started we were told to queue up and they checked our slip, then we were told to go and wash our hands
during the thumb printing, I noticed many candidates couldn't successfully verify their biometrics because they were in the wrong center and some were not even shortlisted for the exam. So it's advisable to reprint your slip long before the commencement of the main exam to avoid stories that touch the heart.
After the thumbprinting, they collected the stipulated price of 1000 naira from us and let us in, where some of us were told to sit on our main exam seat and others didn't because of one problem or the other and mostly related to the computer.
There were security personnel at the center - I saw some civil defense corp members. When we entered I noticed there were CCTVs and AC fully working and the whole place was cold
So when we had all entered the hall and taken our seats. One of the invigilators welcomed us and oriented us on the exam process and told us what to do and also to stay away from actions and things that could implicate us. Shortly after then, we were all told to start by logging in with our reg number.
NB: we were not allowed to take anything aside from our reprinted slip and pencil.
When we started I noticed that:
-Time was located at the top right hand
-Both keyboard and mouse were working
-the subjects were arranged at the top(navigation)
-As usual, the questions were; 60 English, 40 physics, 40 biology, and 40 chemistry
-some questions had no correct answers in their options.
When we were some minutes into the exam I saw some students who were outside because they came late. They pleaded with one of the officials to take their thumbprints and allow them in, but the man refused, and later I saw a security officer asking them to leave the center. Please I advise we all do everything possible to be in our various centers very early to avoid stories that touched the heart!!
Also, when the invigilators say "start!" it doesn't matter if you start 20 mins later because when you log in to your questions the time still says 2 hrs but you have already wasted 20 mins of your time. One boy actually started 20 mins after the invigilators asked us to start. And when his time remained about 20 mins, his system switched off automatically indicating his end of the exam. All things being equal, the exam was a wonderful experience, especially for debutante (first-timers) like me. It was very enjoyable. Even though most people were not able to finish before the allotted time we still had an amazing time.
My Reaction
**Failed Biometric Verification**
" I noticed many candidates couldn't successfully verify their biometric because they were in the wrong center and some were not even shortlisted for the exam."
Just like the candidate stated in his experience, a failed biometric verification is likely that you're not scheduled to sit for the exam in that CBT center. If it's the right CBT center, then it's probably not the right date. If it's the right CBT center and date, then it's not the right time (batch). For instance, someone scheduled to sit for the exam at CBT center A can not be verified at center B. Someone scheduled to write on the 6th of May at Center cannot be verified to sit for the exam on 7th May at the same center B. Also, someone scheduled to sit for the exam at 7 am cannot be verified for the 9 am or 3 pm exam. So printing your examination slip early and knowing your schedule is very important. So if you're scheduled to sit for the UTME exam at Bruno CBT center on May 6 at 7 am. Get there on May 6, 7 am. Don't go for the 9 am or 3 pm exam because it's the same center. Remember, No verification, no examination. Also, 1 hour after the start of the exam, no entry (no exam for you).
**Examination Time**
There is the general (central server) exam time and then there is the candidate exam time. The central examination time is the time from the timer on the JAMB central server controlling the exam, it starts once the supervisors say "start". The candidate exam time is the time indicated by the timer on the candidate's system, it starts whenever the candidate starts the exam, even if it's one hour after the exam started. During the exam, the central server time supersedes the candidate's exam time. Once the 2 hours on the server timer have elapsed, the exam has ended and all candidates will be automatically logged out of the exam, and whatever questions they answered submitted. So for any reason you start some minutes after others have started, please forget the timer on your system and work faster. Because 50 minutes remaining on your system may actually be 20 minutes left on the central server timer. This is important for those that arrived some minutes late to the exam hall or had problems starting the exam on time. Know this and be safe.
I advise you to check your print your examination slip, check it properly and be at the examination center on the scheduled date and at the right time.

JAMB Exam: The Unfortunate
Imagine after paying and registering for JAMB and then preparing for months, at the crucial time something unexpected happens and you miss out on the exam. Very unfortunate.
Let's read the experience of a candidate:
MY JAMB MOCK EXPERIENCE
MY JAMB mock was certainly a very interesting experience. Considering it was my first attempt, I was both excited and nervous. Now let me begin with a little backstory, starting from the morning of the exam.
I woke up in the wee hours of the morning, specifically by 1 am to do some last-minute revisions. I was able to utilize 4 hours to revise all subjects before getting ready at around 5 am.
Taking into account the time of the exam (7am), I had to leave an hour early to get to my exam center-Sascon International School, Maitama. I got there 30 minutes before the exam time and patiently waited outside while enjoying the cool weather. About 10 minutes before the starting time, we were told what to bring in and what not to bring into the exam hall. Among what was not to be brought in was a pen. This caused a lot of controversy among the admins and the students. In the end, many of us had to do away with our pens and begin looking for places to purchase pencils which, unfortunately, were not readily available in the area. However, after much hustle and bustle, we were able to acquire pencils and finally start the process.
We (the candidates) were separated into two groups as there were two centers on the premises. Both males and females were searched by their respective genders. Afterward, we stood in a single file waiting for our biometrics (fingerprints) to be taken. It was a smooth process and soon after, we were seated and waiting to start the exam. The atmosphere of the center was very relaxing. The air conditioner was on and wasn't overpowering, making me feel less nervous and more calm and collected. I noticed there were no CCTV cameras in the hall and there was strict adherence to the COVID-19 protocols.
The time came for the exam to start. It was time for me to experience the exam many were afraid to take. Weeks of preparation had finally come to an end and I had to put all I had learned into practice. I clicked on the "proceed to take the exam" and waited for the questions to come up. However, I was met with a blank screen. Confused, I requested the attention of an admin in charge. It was then I realized that many other candidates had the same problem. In fact, more than half of the candidates either had a blank screen or issues with their registration number. We were told to wait as the issues would be resolved soon. 2 hours passed and nothing had changed. The few who were able to write the exam had already begun leaving the hall. I was really tired as I had been awake since 1 am but I was determined to wait. An extra hour had passed before I was told to try using another computer for the exam. I became grateful to God as I saw this as a solution to my troubles and immediately did as I was told. But unfortunately, again, things didn't go as planned as I was told to wait for another hour before I could write the exam. Feelings of frustration came over me as I tried my best to keep calm. I looked around and saw other candidates putting their heads down and I decided to do the same. Another hour passed, making that a total of 4 hours spent. All efforts aimed at resolving the issues were futile and many candidates got upset. Because of this, some walked out angrily, while others remained to wait for an explanation. A while later, we were informed that we wouldn't be able to write the exam anymore and would get back the 1,000 naira fee we paid to the CBT center to write the exam. After I did just that, I returned home feeling tired and dreary.
My JAMB mock clearly didn't turn out the way I wanted but it was certainly quite an experience.
My Reaction
Unfortunately, the candidates (especially first-timers) were robbed of the chance to experience the JAMB examination process which is aimed at preparing them for the main examination. They paid for the sins of the CBT Centre - unpreparedness and not following recommended standards.
The only explanation I've got for the unfortunate incidence is a network failure. The recommended network pattern is Star topology. Here each table in the CBT examination hall is connected by a separate network cable to a network switch. This is so that when there is network failure on one table or section it won't affect others and the problem can easily to discovered and resolved in time. Also, the ends of the network cables should be labeled for easy and quick recognition of the cable supplying a particular table or section. This makes for quick resolution of network issues. But some centers fail to adhere to this and the candidates end up paying heavily.
Though if this happens during the UTME examination and many candidates miss out, JAMB will likely organize a mock-up exam for such candidates. However, hope no one experiences this during the main UTME examination.
JAMB Mock 2022 CBT Questions
The JAMB UTME is 7 days away and candidates are eager to know where they will be posted to sit for the exam. According to JAMB, the reprinting of the slip to indicate the candidates' exam venue and the seat number was scheduled to be available but that didn't happen. Hopefully, it would be available tomorrow (Saturday) or latest Monday.
In previous days, I've shared the experiences of various candidates that participated in the JAMB Mock, we have cases of network failures, faulty systems, inadequate officials to attend to the needs of candidates, and more. Check my previous posts to read their stories.
Today, I'll share some Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English that some candidates remembered from the exam.
But before that, candidates should be aware that they can use the keyboard if operating the mouse is difficult for them. Here are some keys you will use on the keyboard and their function during the JAMB UTME.
• The key N on your keyboard can be used to take you to the next question.
• The key P on your keyboard can be used to take you to the previous question.
• The down arrow key on your keyboard can be used to scroll down the page.
• The up arrow key on your keyboard can be used to scroll up the page.
• The key A on your keyboard can be used to select option A.
• The key B on your keyboard can be used to select option B.
• The key C on your keyboard can be used to select option C.
• The key D on your keyboard can be used to select option D.
• The key S on your keyboard can be used to submit your work, so be careful not to click on it.
• the key Y is to confirm your submission.
It is either you follow the above guidelines or you use the mouse provided.
Generally, everyone had a time limit of 120 minutes (2 hours) and we were given 60 questions in English Language and 40 questions in the others, mine being Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.

JAMB Mock Experience: No Cries, No Laughter

Sharing another JAMB Mock experience with the intention that there will be something we can learn from it.

A horrible beginning to the day, but thank God I got to sit for the exam and I Iearned something from it.
I live very far from my JAMB Mock examination venue. The CBT Center was located in Owerri while I reside in Orlu and my exam was scheduled to take place by 7 am. As I neither have any friends nor relatives living there and can't arrange where to Lodge in Owerri before the date, we (My mum and I) decided to live early in the morning on the exam date.
So I started preparing by 4 am, I didn't even sleep let alone wake. By 5 am I was ready and wanted to start the travel. We called the driver that was designated to take me and my mom to the exam venue. He came 30 mins after, considering the situation of Orlu, Imo state, insecurity, and the rest. I was already scared of both the darkness and missing the exam. There was and is still insecurity in Eastern Nigeria so early travel is such a risk.
We started going immediately, the journey took more than an hour to get to Owerri and not the place of exam, going through the bad roads, meandering the snake-like roads that army people caused by placing bags of sand by each side of the road of Banana junction Owerri Road. As we traveled further, the road and streets were empty - this heightened my fright.
We arrived at the examination venue by a few minutes past 8 am. I was relieved and felt safe as we arrived at the center. The fear of the insecurity toad has gone, immediately the fear of whether I've missed the exam took over completely. I saw a few people at the entrance to the CBT center, I heaved a sigh of relief, they were still inspecting candidates and collecting payment for the exam. If not for the delay, I would probably have missed the exam. I joined the queue and when it got to my turn, I was inspected like the others and also paid 1,000 which I even forgot about if not for my mom it would have been a different story. After making the payment, I was cleared and I proceeded to the exam hall while mum found a place to wait for me outside. I entered the exam hall, there were lots of systems and CCTV cameras installed at several corners of the hall. We used laptops to take our exams. I found my seat using the seat number on my exam slip. The laptop on my desk didn't have the "M" button on the keyboard but I guess it's of no use in the exam. We either use the mouse or just the N, P, A, B, C, D, and S buttons on the keyboard as explained by one of the invigilators.
We were instructed to enter our Jamb Registration Number. The person to my left couldn't enter his reg number so he called for help, the invigilator first rebuked him by slapping his head then told him that he should have dragged the mouse and clicked on the space provided for the reg number before typing. He later got it right. We logged in and commenced the exam.
The duration of the exam was 2 hours and there were a total of 180 questions. English was 60 and the other 3 subjects (Government, Literature in English, and CRS) had 40 questions each. There was a calculator but I didn't require it as there was nothing to calculate. Some candidates (mostly science students) requested a paper to solve maths questions but I didn't because I am not doing any calculations for the exam.
From then, the process was smooth sailing, with no cries no laughter.
Now I look forward to the UTME proper and hope for an even better experience.
My Reaction
David had a better experience than Samuel from the previous experienced we shared. Aside from the fear of insecurity and missing out on the exam, he arrived at the center in time to start the exam at the same time as the others. From his story, the exam process was hitch-free - no faulty laptops or network failure.
And now to **the Slap on the head**. The invigilator went too far with his action, it could have just helped the student. Though some candidates can be annoying, there was no need for the slap. Candidates on their part should learn how to use the computer system, be it laptop or desktop. They have just two things to use, the mouse and keyboard. They could make out some time before the exam to familiarize themselves with these two devices, but many won't. Also, the JAMB Mock is an avenue for first-timers to get familiarized with the JAMB exam process, but many won't participate. Without any prior experience handling a mouse or keyboard, they will enter the exam and find it hard to start the exam. And those who are not bold enough to call for help will end up wasting several minutes until luckily an invigilator walks to their seat.
Dear candidates, it won't hurt to learn how to use the computer system before the CBT exams. If you can't afford to pay for CBT training, you can go to friends or relatives who own one or even take advantage of free CBT training organized near you.
JAMB easy, JAMB hard, it all depends on your level of preparedness and calmness during the exam. And probably some luck - one might be unlucky to get faulty system or network failures in the exam center and some unexpected circumstances might delay you from arriving early, this starting late or missing out on the exam.

JAMB Mock Experience: Faulty Systems and Inefficient Officials
I'm indeed in an unhappy mood as share my JAMB Mock exam experience with you.
I had a lot of terrible experiences at a CBT center in Ado-Ekiti, EKITI ANGLICAN DIOCESAN HIGH SCHOOL, ILE - ABIYE PREMISES, ADO, EKITI STATE precisely.
First and foremost, my parent and I faced very harsh weather while going to the center for my UTME MOCK EXAM. Rain fell so heavily overnight and the weather became so worse that morning. Unfortunately, my parent and I didn't wear a cloth that will resist the weather because we thought the weather might not be so harsh in Ado, I reside in Ikere (a neighboring town) precisely.
Furthermore, On getting to the center, we were delayed for almost an hour. The officials wasted our time doing the unnecessary. We waited in the rain for more than an hour before the officials attended to us. Some Jamb aspirants who came for the mock also had to find their way to getting the proposed #1000 because they just realized that while in the queue. JAMB should try as much as possible to make information easily accessible and passed across to all JAMB aspirants - this can be via SMS or email.
In addition, I will never forget what I experienced when I finally entered the exam hall. I was unable to log in hence, I couldn't sit for the Mock exam😢. This was a result of the inadequacy and inefficiency of the supervising and invigilating JAMB officials. The officials were few and the few ones were inefficient and not approachable. They all put on angry faces. We were told to input our registration number and I did. Afterward, we were told to click on “candidate login ” which I did but it brought out “🚫”. A large percentage of the Jamb aspirants in the center experienced this, after a while, some started to load and log in but I was unable to log in. I kept on calling on the Jamb officials available but they were busy with others. After a few minutes, one of the officials responded and instructed me to make use of another Computer and I complied. Consequently, there was an empty seat with a computer system beside me, and sat on it. I typed my registration number but, all futile. After about an hour of trying to log in, I was told that I can't log in after an hour. I retried but the second response was that I've started the exam on a System already and I can't make use of two Systems at the same time. I was poleaxed and became confused. Eventually, the Jamb officials said they can't help and that's all😔. I wasn't the only candidate that experienced this, we were about 3 in the center who experience login issues.
JAMB should please train officials before placing them in any center and must fix the issue of CANDIDATE LOGIN.

My Reaction
The candidate has shared his experience and I sympathize with him as he was unable to write the examination.
He seemed to blame the JAMB officials supervising the examination. There is more to what happened that day and I'll point them out.
1. CBT Centres, rainy days, and Mock Exam:
Candidates are required to make a payment of 1000 Naira at the center before they will be cleared to enter the exam hall. The rain disturbed the day's activity. A lot of candidates had to wait for the rain to stop to get to their respective centers. The centers won't want to start the exam until an appreciable number of candidates have arrived given that once the exam commenced, one hour later, arriving candidates won't be able to join the exam. The candidates will miss the exam and the center will lose the money. My guess is they had to delay so more candidates can make it to the center.
2. Candidate **Eagerness**
Lots of candidates are anxious and eager to start the exam. Some are also nervous and end up entering the wrong details, thus, the system won't log them in. Many candidates don't know how to use the mouse and keyboard, thus unnecessarily calling the attention of the supervisors who should be busy attending to serious cases like faulty systems.
3. Faulty System and **Network** Failure
Some centers are at fault here. They probably didn't check the functionality of their systems and network a day before the exam. "Candidate is logged in on another system" this error message comes up when a candidate tries to use another system after initially logging in to one. The candidate might be logged out of the previous due to network failure on the system or perhaps the system turned off. Such candidates will still be logged in on that computer on the main server. Before such candidates can use another system, the JAMB technical officer has to log the candidate out from the main server, before he can log in with another system. Perhaps no one thought about doing this.
More of the blame should be on the center. I was in a center hall during the Mock exam and there was no glitch. The process went smoothly. The only issue was the exam didn't start at the stipulated time, we had to delay due to the rain, to allow time for other candidates to arrive.
JAMB should penalize CBT centers that fail to provide functional systems and good networks in their centers.
My JAMB Mock Experience by Ozo
I had some candidates share their JAMB Mock experience. And I'm sharing it here with the intention to their stories will be helpful to other candidates in the coming JAMB exams.
Here is the story of one of the candidates:
My experience in JAMB Mock by Ozo Chidiobi
The name of the center I took my mock examination is Modebe Secondary School in Onitsha, Anambra State.
My exam date and time were exactly Saturday, 9th April, by 9 am. I arrived by 7 am to settle down and do a quick revision before the mock exam, of course, I came with my exam printout bearing the date and time of the exam, pencil, eraser, face mask, and hand sanitizer as stated in the printed exam paper. It turns out that a reasonable number of aspirants came for the mock examination and the weather was cloudy. There was a slight delay and they collected #1000 from us, we started preparing to enter the hall at 9;30am.
After clearance and check-up for unwanted items, we enter the hall, everyone was busy looking for his or her seat number as written in the printout. When the exam coordinator and supervisor ordered us to start, I noticed CCTV cameras mounted on every corner of the wall. My system has a mouse and keyboard while some had only a laptop. I said a little prayer before typing my REGISTRATION number, After logging in, I saw full instructions on how to use the mouse and answer questions.
At the end of the instructions was " start exam" which I clicked on. The first question was English with 60 questions that I observed from the number rows below. At the left of the screen was my passport and the number of questions answered. To my observation, there are a total of 180 questions.
I prefer using a mouse because I understand it and it's easier and fast. Scrolling up, I noticed the same Subjects I put when registering Jamb, the timer was also on the top, the same as the calculator but a non-scientific calculator.
In the middle of the screen was the question to be answered and their options from A-D and below were "NEXT" and "PREVIOUS menu. I started with biology because it is my favorite subject and I understand it better than any other subject. Biology had 40 questions, chemistry 40, and physics 40 questions making it a total of 4 subjects and180 questions (including the 60 English questions) to be answered.
From my observation in the number row, which is the questions in number. Green means answered and red means not answered. I pressed end exam after cross-checking my answers and the number of questions answered and logged out.
The only problem I faced was a slight network issue which the center coordinators testified within seconds, I didn't lose much time and I couldn't find a calculator in the system, all thanks to the invigilator that helped me find them and also gave me a full sheet for calculations. To me, the exam ended well and calmly.
My word of advice to Jambites that didn't take the mock is to make sure they don't leave any questions behind, don't rush to conclusions it is, even more, better to skip questions giving you a little headache and move on to another than waste more than 1mins on a question. Please come with extra required materials because I bluntly refused to give out my extra pencil to the person sitting next to me. When you prepare well and read your books together with past questions then Success is sure.

The CBT Exam Experience
My exam was scheduled to commence by 7am at Ivan Ikoku, Owerri, Imo, the place was well situated. I squatted with a friend there on Friday so I left to the place early in the morning, around after 6, 7 am. Few people was there when I came, the center was still locked. So I waited for more time, like say, 30mins when people trooped in more. The examiners later arrived, oned the Lister though it resisted to be oned at first but later responded, opened place and entered to do what I don't know, maybe cleaning and dusting the place. By 8am, they started ordering us to queue to the entrance of the hall, with our facemasks removed and socks removed, (I guess it's to prevent examination malpractice). It was a rigorous process, we struggled to be verified by the examiners in the entrance.
First they took our printout to check if we really have the exam to take, collected ₦1,000 from each of us, and ordered to raise our hands to be searched, but I can't call that thorough search. Later, we were ordered to do thumbprinting which wouldn't have taken much of our time if not for the population taking the mock.
While entering the venue, we were ordered to drop our phones or any material, so I dropped my phone and bag in an instructed place.
After it, we entered to the main exam Hall but not without thorough search again. While entering, I noticed that there were CCTV cameras working in the main entrance of the building, the thumbprinting area, the entrance of the main exam Hall and at the edges of the hall. Not only cameras but ACs, I wanted to freeze in there if not for the massive complaint.
Again, we used desktop to write the exam, some systems weren't working, some were dusty, some keyboards weren't working as people complained. For mine, everything was perfect. We didn't follow seat number again because of the faults but I sat exactly on my seat number, 099 but those there system had fault were relocated to another seat. I guess those seat numbers doesn't matter.
I wasn't with any time when I entered but I can say we started late, probably after 9 or to 10, 7am mass. And they worst part is that I didn't eat while coming to the exam because of anxiety. I advise my colleagues to eat in The main exam. So we were ordered to key in our jamb reg number which was unusually long unlike other years. So we logged in, few instructions on how to write the exam popped out, then ordered to press start exam and behold,the mock started, I felt goosebumps. I jittered and held onto myself.. the CBT environment was not cumbersome, it was simple to understand just like the Myschool CBT APP. The location of the time was at top right, 120mins, not written in hours, the subjects at the top right, mine started with English, the next, previous and submit tabs are situated below left. If one answers the question, the number of the question changes colour, the calculator was at the top centre, the calculator is not that advanced, just addition, multiplication, substraction and Divine and of course with numbers and delete key.
Before we started the exam, we were ordered to use either the keyboard or mouse, for next we were told to press N, for previous P, for submission S, for the options each A,B,C,D represented the options. These were things I learnt already in CBT practice. But nevertheless, I used only mouse.
The question number allocated for each subject were 60 for English, 40 for other subjects making it 180 questions.
The whole process was organized and as I was told, nothing new except the network problem we had when we wanted to start which also took our time. We were given rough paper for solvings and collected back from us after exams. We entered in a different door and left in another. The hall was spacious and beautiful. It's good for examination. I submitted 20 mins before the time and left the hall to see a bigger crowd outside. We stopped writing around 12.
I went and collected my phone and bag and left.
I pray for successful result.

As important as consistently getting the right knowledge and learning high-income skills are, they are not what will bring *wealth* into your life.

You won't hear this from your regular coaches because it's the most important secret every great person has.
Sometimes it's not that you aren't knowledgeable or skillful enough... it's just that you neglect *spiritual backing* in what you do. You don't yet understand the place of *prophetic covering* hence you don't practice what activates it.
This is more than going to church or calling your spiritual authority 'Daddy' or 'mummy'. Let me explain some more.
Being knowledgeable is good. Learning a high-income skill is great. Getting a well-paying job is applaudable but they are not enough to bring you uncommon results. The greatest man to ever walk the earth needed a prophet to speak over his life so he could do.mich exploits.
Having a prophetic voice that speaks over you and what you do is key to getting results.
3 planes of prophetic covering you must intentionally work on.
1. Personal Plane
This is where you take personal responsibility for all that pertains to your life. You are your first prophet. If you don't believe in yourself, no one can help you do that. Do I need to mention how it's important you build a good spiritual life?
2. Parents Plane
This is where you honour your parents. Despite the condition you grew up in, your parents gave their best. Many folks are generous to everyone else except their parents. Haba! Don't forget that a fruit is not greater than the tree that produced it. Don't get too sophisticated so as to neglect the place of parental blessings. You may be more anointed, knowledgeable, skillful, and richer than your parents but doesn't make them any less your parents. Try to honour your parents. Send a message. Put a call across. Visit as often as possible. Buy presents and make life more comfortable for them. There is a reason you were directly thrown into the earth from someplace.
Every other person advises you except your parents. Every other person has a prayer for you except your parents. You've received impartations from men and women of God except for your parents. Nothing bad in doing these things but there is more.
The key in Ephesians 6:1-3 might be what you are still missing out on. Go read it and apply.
For the record, you don't need to post what you do on social media for all to see. Resist the temptation. Honour is more potent when diligently communicated in secret than when it's hypocritically done on social media. Many folks say things of media and only apply 5% of them in real life. So many fake tales. Don't be like them.
All 3 planes of prophetic covering are as important as the other hence work hand-in-hand. Your assignment is to work diligently on all 3 of them till results come forth.

Even if you don’t get yourself or anyone a present, do this for yourself
**Stop giving out only one of your names to people you're meeting for the first time online. It shows you're not intentional about your identity.**
The thing about your is that it gives you a unique identity that helps you stand out amongst the billions of active users online. So giving out one of your names automatically drifts you towards getting lost in the crowd.
How can someone ask what your name is and you're replying with ‘I’m Mary'.
The question here: which of the Mary are you exactly? Mary, the mother of Jesus perhaps?
Stop confusing people by doing so. You would want people to recognize within a split second because of how distinct your name is.
So, if your conversation with a stranger on WhatsApp was on a Monday and you only tell them one of your names (Mary) to save, would they be wrong to save your contact as ‘Mary Monday' or even ‘Mary Monday WhatsApp'?
A search for the name Mary brought out over 20 contacts on my list. Now, imagine they were all saved as ‘Mary’ without another name to help differentiate them? I hope you are getting the gist now? I hope you now see why it’s important to give out at least 2 of your names online or offline?
Assuming you met someone under a tree and told them only one name (e.g. James). What do you expect them to save your name as? If your guess is as good as mine, they will save it as ‘James Tree'.
Does that look like what you'd love people to identify you with? I guess that’s not.
Does it matter?
A reason many people would keep struggling with getting people to take them seriously online is that they don’t understand personal branding. People want to do business with people and not necessarily a social media account with some random name. Making sure people know you by your full name is an important aspect of personal branding (although it’s not everything).
Some people still bear funny nicknames on their Facebook accounts. I find it hard to believe.
Many won’t consider accepting a friend request from any account not showing a reasonable name.
If my name is James Mary, I expect my contact on your device to be saved as James Mary. If you feel like adding anything before or after that, it’s your choice.

Last night, I got a call from my workplace where I was paid 14,000 Naira (about $27) as a monthly salary for working 8 am to 5 pm (Monday - Friday).
About the job.
From May to August 2021, I worked in an organization where I had to report for work by 7:30 am and sign out between 4 pm-5 pm. Aside from that, I had to work on weekends to prepare ahead for the coming week.
To be honest, it was the most hectic 4 months of my life. Even the 'kiti kiti & kata kata' of attending a Nigerian university couldn't compare.
As a diligent man, I gave in my best but the pay after 30 days wasn't sufficient for anything. The only reason I stayed longer on the job was that I needed to use the pay to get constant internet data as I was intentionally working on some digital skills.
By end of July, I had drafted my resignation letter and submitted it to my head. I remember some of my colleagues who tried to talk me out of my decision to resign from the job. It seemed irrational because I told them I'd be working fully from my Smartphone after leaving.
I ended up offering to pay one of them 20,000 naira in 3 months if she agreed to work on building a digital academy with me. It was crazy but I meant it then but as you would guess they rejected the offer.
The CEO of the organization called me one day and said he was giving me 7 days to think properly about my decision and come back to the job. I saw the genuine concern he had for me but my mind was made up. I wanted to be responsible for how much I made daily, weekly, monthly, and annually.
I wanted to celebrate myself for making a target figure and also blame myself for doing less.
Fast forward to this day, my Smartphone has been my office and we have 'doings' together. We have commented with over 3000 persons in over 20 countries of the world. It has got me some good amount in profit. We have also paid some good amounts to others. We have met really amazing people too.
It's the freedom that comes with being able to do what I love at the time I want for me. And of course, getting to meet amazing people and building formidable networks online.
Meanwhile, I'm still learning how this money moves online. When it starts coming in you'd know.
But how does this gist even concern you? Well, follow closely.
Yesterday, I went to see the CEO of that organization and he offered me the highest pay amongst all his staff. He said I could work part-time (working on my terms) and some other cool stuff... All I did was grin and told him 'Thank you sir but I won't be able to work here even though I'd like to do so.'
Simply put: I left him with a shock on his face without offending him.
The morale from this little gist
Pay attention to yourself: know what you want and be willing to legitimately do what it takes to get it. The struggle is really all by yourself with others but against anyone.
Nobody is coming to save you: learn a high-income skill to be on the safe side. The earlier you do this, the better for you.
Take up a job if possible: don't work a job to settle down with a salary. Use it to fund your skill and business. It will pay more.
Stop belittling your smartphone: you have a powerful tool in your hand. If you keep letting excuses stop you from doing the needful, you'd only end up regretting it.
The message of the Day: Don't stop learning but pay more attention to executing all you've learned so far. Nobody cares about what you know till you act on them and birth results. Less talk, more productivity. More smart work, more results.
Where you are and where you want to be
The difference between where you are and where you want to be is 3 things:
1. Your Knowledge Base
What you know or don’t know influences your results. You cannot be bigger than your mind. Commit to mental transformation if success is what you want. Don’t look too far. Begin now!
2. Your Network
You are the average of the 5 closest persons in your life. If you want to succeed, associate with successful people. If you always hang out with mediocre people, you'd end up as one soon. Truth is, your network can either fuel your goals or fight against the same. Choose wisely.
3. Your Willingness to Take Consistent Actions
Knowledge is good but it’s useless if you don’t take consistent actions on them. Long-term consistency must be prioritized over short-term intensity. The challenge is, many have the ‘hit n' ring mentality. They can stay on one particular thing till it births results.
1% action is more profitable than 99% knowledge with no action.
I don’t hide this from people around me. Those who learn and take action always get results.
This is a short one, but here is a little story for you.
About a month ago, I had a particular experience that further solicited my claim that among the three major ethnic groups in Nigeria, Igbos are yet to really appreciate one another and truly coexist in love and unity without the presence of heavy jealousy and unnecessary competition.
I was in Port Harcourt for a while and I wanted to work on some clothes. I got to a particular area that was mostly occupied by the Hausas (northerners). I had a particular person in mind for the job, but he wasn’t around. There were about 5 other different tailors there with their machines, but once I mentioned the name of my customer, something interesting happened, a couple of them left their machines and went in search of him for the job. They eventually found him and he did the job and got the pay. No hassle.
Fast forward to two weeks ago, I wanted to take a bike to my place after buying some things. I walked for a while before I located two okada riders discussing by the road, I approached one of them and asked if he was available, he was…but he did not have a hundred naira change he would give me. He asked his supposed buddy for change and the oga claimed that he did not have it. And later suggested that I should get on his bike, that he was going to look for change when he gets there. The other rider was cool with it. So I got on the bile and something funny happened when we got to my destination. He brought out the change to give to me and he had over 7 pieces of 100 Naira in his possession. All his buddy needed was just 2 pieces. But no! He was looking for the money for himself.
Until we abolish this foolish mentality, jealousy, and unnecessary and unhealthy competition, as a people, we are truly going nowhere. We are truly not going to achieve much apart from constant retrogression.

I know we have mixed religions and atheists here. I just want to share this. Before David faced Goliath, he had learned how to trust whatever weapon God decides to choose for him in times of trouble. He had prepared and learned how to tear a lion with his bare hand (1 Samuel 17:34-37), so confronting Goliath with stones wasn’t unreasonable to him. Irrespective of your religion, learn to pray.

This is extremely important. Who are you listening to? Who are your advisors? Who are the people in your network? What do they tell you?
Yes, the people you listen to can make or mar you. You cannot stay braced up if you don’t have the right people around you.

When people decide to be supportive to you in any way, please value it and be appreciative to them. People fight all kinds of battles you're not aware of. If they make time to call, text, support, and encourage you don’t let ingratitude and pride get in the way. In the end, nobody owes you anything. No matter how valuable you think you're, you're still not irreplaceable.
Some battles many fight is NOT because of their ‘*village people*’ but simply a result of their ingratitude and lack of courtesy. People go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable most times. I don’t know why people can be so ungrateful these days. When someone does something for you (no matter how small), it’s simple courtesy and wisdom to call and acknowledge the reception of it followed with a proper thanks. Don’t wait till they call you much later, then you start giving flimsy excuses. People feel less motivated to do things for you as long as you let ingratitude get the better of you.
Don’t be in the business of shutting doors at yourself.
Message of the day: Look, there's no financial help anywhere. I encourage you to start making money, learn skills that would set you up - skills that would make you money. Even if you are making money, calculate and see if you need to diversify or leverage. Don't go, broke bro, there's no financial help anywhere. 2022 has started, we're on day 19. Here are some tips that will help you, it helped me.
1. Avoid Unrealistic Resolutions
The sad thing is that the same set of people that made unrealistic resolutions last year have already made another for the year 2022. You promised yourself never to miss any opportunity that would bring about your financial breakthrough yet you called all opportunities presented to you scam, therefore, you never acted on any. If you are in this category and you have written why you wouldn’t miss business opportunities in 2022, I hope you've prepared your mind alongside your pen and resolution diary. I urge you to make realistic resolutions (you can rewrite if you already had one), develop the right mindset and be willing to take a calculated risk so you can achieve your year goals.
2. Keep Pushing, Never Give up
Another set of people I would like to encourage this day is those who were courageous enough to take bold steps and then give up along the way. Me dear friend, the fact you could take the good step and get started on whatever you ventured into. This shows that you have what it takes to succeed in that business, career, or craft because the most difficult which is the decision to actually get started was conquered. So you can conquer every other obstacle you meet on the way to your breakthrough.
I know you have given up or at the verge of doing so, but I urge you to pick up again and smash harder in 2022. I’m only saying this to you to make you understand that your breakthrough is near but you wouldn’t get it if you give up on yourself.
Keep pushing dearest. Push harder with the almighty abundance mindset. Push with all shades of positivity.
3. Make it your priority to recognize opportunities.
You see, some people are richer than others not because they work harder, but simply because they are working hard on better things.
The 20-year-old that is richer than a 30-year-old may not be as a result of how hard-working he is. Most times it’s simply because he's working on a better business that he doesn’t need to physically work too hard to make much money.
Make it a priority this year to find such opportunities. The world doesn’t care about how hard you work, the world only cares about your success. That’s the reason people will respect Dangote more than someone that hawks from morning till night.
This is exactly what a friend did in 2020. In Mid 2020 he was teaching mini importation on WhatsApp. He charged $5 per person then, and he doesn’t even make up to $100 per month, and damn, he worked. Actually, he overworked himself to make such a figure. But then he didn’t settle for that.
He knew there were smarter ways to make this money easier. He started searching and found affiliate marketing and went all in. Right now, he doesn’t put up half of the energy he invested into the previous business. Now the same amount he had to work so hard to make in a month from the previous business, he makes in a week in the current business.
So make it your priority this year to find such opportunities. And when you find them, don’t slack. Take massive action immediately.
4. Focus on Personal Development

There are no shortcuts to success. Everyone at the top climbs their way up there – some with bruises, burns, scars, etc. Genuine success takes time. Trust the process.
4. Stop looking for who to blame
The reason many don’t make progress after recording a failure is that they look for someone to blame for their misfortune. Take responsibility for your successes and failures.
5. Stop looking for your negative desire!
Ultimately, what you look for is what you attract to your life. If you keep looking for negative things, that’s exactly what you'd attract.
6. Stop looking for the perfect opportunity
Opportunities abound everyone that can change your life. Stop looking for the perfect opportunities. Take advantage of the available opportunities, Instead, create them.

As I align in my little way, one of the impressions that’s getting stronger on my spirit is that God will bring us supernatural speed. No one makes an impact without a clear sense of direction.d by the Holy Spirit. It will be like nothing you've seen before.
We are 15 days into the new year, I encourage you to challenge yourself to pray and sharpen your spiritual senses. Give more time to align and get directions for the year. **No one makes an impact without a clear sense of direction.**
While we study more, attend more training, develop more skills, work more, we should also pray more because it's a great advantage.
Wealth is not just money and it's not new on earth. Certain men have found what true wealth is and what controls it. As you pray, it could please the Lord to bring you encounters with some of them. When that happens, focus on asking the secret behind their successes.

Living on God's economy
In the next few months, heaven intends to bring many into Financial Sabbath. But it won’t happen without fierce contention.
I hope this doesn’t sound too deep to you? Let me explain some basic concepts so you'd understand better.
Generally, spirits rule the earth. Man is only leasing it.
Great men on earth are the most loyal servants to the spirits. No one can lift, prosper, succeed, grow, and dominate the earth all by himself (forget the ‘self-made' talk from people).
So how does this concern you?
Simply put: the easiest way to rule in the affairs of men is to be a diligent slave to a powerful spirit.
The Bible puts it this way:
Do you not know that when you continually offer yourselves to someone to do his will, you are the slaves of the one whom you obey, either [slaves] of sin which lead to death, or obedience which leads to righteousness (right standing with God)?” – Romans 6:16
Time and seasons change.
Just as there is a time to admit fresh students into a university and then wait till they are almost done with the second semester before admission for another set commences. That’s how Spiritual Possibilities work too. Everything is not possible at every time.
Every time heaven moves to bring God's children into their rest. The kingdom of darkness also moves to corrupt that intention. So, heaven’s intention to bring many into many sabbaths (Financial Sabbath inclusive) is being corrupted in some ways.
Below are a few ways it can be corrupted:
1. Believers become cold and careless about spiritual things
Prayerlessness steps in. Fasting becomes difficult. Fellowship looks like a waste of time. Spiritual sleep begins. Social media or entertainment becomes more interesting than spiritual activities. These are mostly sponsored by demonic spirits in the second heaven. You must be intentional to stay awake at all times. It’s warfare.
2. Seeds of greed and covetousness are down intentionally into the heart of the masses.
This is why they keep uploading live videos of their ritual killings on social media. So that people see how much they can go in getting money. And because many are gullible, they will contemplate doing the same or something similar. Do you have an idea of how many people have begun looking for ways to join them?
3. Extravagant events are organized to show off.
The main intention here is to make people lose regard for working diligently into Financial Sabbath. I mean why work so hard to financial Sabbath when you can ‘bam bam and chill with the big boys' just to become rich overnight?
As you know, life is already hard on many people. So whatever has access to people via the eyes and ears will ultimately influence them. That’s why all these are promoted heavily to trend online – because they will influence people negatively.
The result?
More cases of kidnapping, ritual killings, more greedy people striving for power, more wickedness on earth.
Can you see how easy it is to promote contents that spread fear and are violent or inhumane? From Chibok girls kidnapping to Lekki Toll Gate Massacre to COVID-19 pandemic… the list goes on but I'll stop here.
In the end, we don’t have much time to spend here again. Live every day prepared for departure.
If all you have read doesn’t make much sense to you then it’s not meant for you. You won’t do anything after reading it though. The ones who it's meant for know themselves and will do what needs to be done. The end of the age is close, is your way right?
Why not take the right part now? Don’t wait till it’s too late.
Nothing makes sense if your health doesn’t make sense
Health is Wealth
Health. If it fails, all other things in your life will fail. If it thrives, all other things stand a chance of thriving (remember Steve Jobs).
I discovered that healthy living is an indispensable part of personal development.
The truth is, if you desire to produce extraordinary results you cannot afford to be passive about what you do. You need constant motivation, drive and passion. You need to be on go at all times. You cannot be taking things easy. You need to go full blast. You need energy.
You have heard that ‘passion is the fuel of purpose' right? What if I ,tell you that the same passion that fuels your purpose can also end it? That’s if not properly managed through knowledge though.
But how does all this concern you?
Chill first let me explain this to you.
It takes a level of emotional connection to anything you do in order to make it work.
Results follow energy while energy is generated through knowledge. However, you can become so emotionally attached to something that you begin neglecting other areas of your life that’s also needed.
Your health being one of the most important part of your life needs to be given maximum attention.
People will grow to like you (online and offline) if you keep adding value to them but you'll not like yourself if your health is not in order. Developing health conditions will not help you become more productive and successful.
The principles of healthy and productive living I violated last year… I’m only alive now because of God’s mercy. I experienced two major burnouts last year because of carelessness towards my health. I had to be hospitalized. It wasn’t funny but God saw me through.
**Nothing makes sense if your health doesn’t make sense.**
One of the reasons behind my burnout last year is that my 2021 goals captured my mental development, finances, relationships, etc, but I didn’t plan my health. I was expecting it to work out well on its own.
Now I know better. I already added it to my 2022 plans. I recommend you do the same.
One more thing:
The reason you should plan your health in 2022 is that it would be a bigger year for you than the previous. We'll be working more, traveling more, making more impacts and fulfilling purpose on larger scale. As yes, we'd be making more money too.
So, if you don’t plan your health,h, don’t think tour here won’t be consequences.
The bottom line is:
God is the giver of all life, yeah? But it's your responsibility to take good care of your health so you can live to fulfill your days for His glory.
So, eat, sleep, laugh, chill and rest well. Try dey enjoy life too.
Try dey show yourself love. No go dey do pass yourself.
I've brought this to you today. Now, it’s in your hands to work with it or not.
2022 will be hooge. Don’t settle for less by preparing for it without balance.

A letter to Fresh Graduates
Dear graduates,
There's a reason I addressed this letter to you.
Have you ever come to the point of your life wherein you just want to rush and find a job? Rushing to be hired. Rushing to find what’s for you. Worrying and thinking the whole day – you don’t want to be left behind.
You saw your mates' updates that they have been employed. You asked yourself, is there anything wrong with me?
You know that you are good in academics and in performance that’s why you want to prove yourself to the people around you.
But hear this. I just realized, one of life's most costly and beautiful objects is born out of pain and irritation – pearl. Not every beautiful thing comes easily.
Your waiting season is never wasted. Your waiting season is your learning season.
While waiting, you need to lay hands-on skills that will equip you for your dream work or business because no employer wants to employ books or certificates alone, they also need people with skills that will promote their company too.
Let me share a bit of a friend's story with you.
As a first-class graduate, what would you think of her after school? That companies will rush her abi? Or probably you have an edge so not much stress, you will find work, right?
Let me shock you
She roamed from one private company to another I mean ultimate search kind. She submitted her application letter to so many top companies.
After two months, she got a teaching job in a growing school. I don’t want to tell you how much they were paying because you will be forced to ask if she is in her right senses.
But that notwithstanding she took it because she don’t have other options. Mind you this is because she has a mindset that not to just sit and wait for NYSC.
So in the course of working with the school, she saw that the more other people with skills are employed the less valuable she became, the greater the chances of being sacked and that will not be a good way to start. Then she decided to go for computer training to before up her game.
She paid for 6 months package straight up and you can guess how much that is. As of then, she couldn’t even afford to buy a laptop for her personal practice because the salary was so poor with other bills she had to pay.
Long story cut short, after NYSC the interview was mad ooo. More expectations and experiences for her. She subscribed fully to learning skills and is today still upgrading.
Na dem dey rush her.
So whenever you see an opportunity to learn a good skill, do not take it for granted.
We have moved from a job economy to a skilled economy. This is where you shouldn’t be left behind.

Do It Afraid
We all have fears. What makes the difference however is that some overcome theirs earlier than others. The truth is that you'll be afraid when starting anything new (offline or online). Don’t leg the fear cripple you but let it be a ladder you climb on.
Every expert was once a novice. Every Pro was once clueless about that profession or discipline.
Fear is a nature instinct in every human being. The reason is because your mind was wired to protect you from harm. So, it would naturally fight anything it’s not used to (risk).
That’s why you must betray your natural mind in order to make progress in life.
This is one thing you must never forget:
You mind is your most powerful weapon. But is does not stand alone. It is influenced by many factors – your association, environment, traditional belief systems, exposure, etc.
The African tradition holds so many limiting beliefs in high esteem that it automatically wires you for mediocrity. If you're a loyal African, you've been wired for smallness due to superstition and cultural beliefs that limit the continent.
So, if you desire to stand out you must live a positively rebellious life. You must do what the typical African man or woman would not do. How?
Prioritize mental transformation (acquiring superior knowledge). Through studying, meditation, goal setting, collaboration and action taking.
No matter how robust the resources in your spirit is, it will be limited by your mindset. Your actions will be productive to the extent of your mindset. Work on your mindset. You're great.
Expose yourself to things that stretch and empower your mind for greatness. Don’t let your current environment define you. Live beyond by creating a superior one in your mind.
You are your surest bet. You're your greatest strength. You're your biggest breakthrough. You are the first thing you need.
Focus more on you. You're great.
Side Note
If you're seeing this please pray against wide spread of highway accidents. I've been perceiving heightened cases of road accidents with lots of casualties lately.
You won't see such. Your loved ones won't see such too. But we need to pray earnestly about this.
I believe in the power of prayer to change things.
One other disturbing perceptions I’ve been having for a while now is about lots of kidnapping taking place. It’s not a cause for fear it to be watchful and prayerful. Don’t wait till evil comes near you or your loved ones before you rise against it.
Wealth is not gotten by working a job or running a business, neither is it gotten through investments whatsoever… wealth is a token of men's allegiance to spirits. Somehow, there’s been so much contention along this since the later part of last year until now.
So, you really thing the increased killings if young ladies by the so called ‘yahoo boys' is a coincidence?
I would have shared something deep about the recent viral videos of these ritual killings on the internet and the effects they are meant to have on people. But time won’t really permit me tonight.
Don’t ever think these guys are recording their ritual killings for the fun of it. Don’t even think it.
It’s a grand plan. I kid you not.

The ‘Senseless' Part of Life
Social media is good. Keeping in touch with people is also good. Building your business online for more profit is great. But none of these must replace that ‘senseless' part of your life.
It’s in being senseless that you actually become more sensible.
Here is why: Countless times, I've attempted to show people how important it is you make Periodic Retreat a core part of their lives. The truth is the world is moving so fast because of the speed of technological advancement in all sectors of life. Social media has made the average person so impatient that we expect an instant reply to our messages regardless of what’s happening at the other end.
And then, we have been cultured to place more value in products than the process that produces them. We get too focused on the prize that we often think it comes without a price. Letting the displayed achievements of others make us trivialize our own wins because it’s not known by many.
Here's where I’m heading to with all this. Live with these two understanding:
Time is short. Haste must be made to build capacity to save a dying world.
Your time is different and it will come. There is no need being afraid of missing out when you're on the right track.
It is preparation that required haste not manifestation.
Live prepared for your:
Eternal destiny (the most important of all)
People
Family
Business/job
Service to humanity
You won’t live in earth forever. If you chase anything else on Earth before securing a safe space in eternity, you're not going the way of wisdom.
Don’t get carried away.
The most important things for you are not here. This ground is like a prep school. Those who stand out here already have a standing in the unseen world.
You are alive…live well to the fullest while preparing for death. You won’t escape it anyway.
Eternity is our final destination.
If you take your last breathe now, where will you end up?
Forget what people will remember about you after your departure. It doesn’t affect your eternal destiny in any way.
This day, create space and give yourself plenty time. Give yourself enough time.
