It was a Jungle Justice Hello People!✋ It's a hot afternoon here for a Monday that's loaded with lots of work. How is it going over there? Hope the Monday is treating you fine? I was checking my Twitter earlier this morning when I saw some trending news about one of the presidential aspirant in my country. Well, I'm not into politics and as such I seldom pick interest on political stuffs. I knew People would lament so much so I clicked to check tweets and comments to laugh at their rants. And ofcourse, it was not surprising as what I expected. A lot of people dished out their unsupportive words towards the "young man". The man in question here just celebrated his 70th birthday and a lot of people turned out to celebrate him, which really got people talking because it looked more like a campaign tactics. A novelty football match was organized and all the football legends in the country assembled to participate. This is not my bone of contention, my own is that no matter what people are saying on social Media, this man that lots of people don't want to be the next president would still win unless....if maybe he steps down before then. Why am I saying such? I was an ad-hoc staff during the general election of 2019 and I saw a lot of things. ****Let me share my experience**** Lead image source https://www.freepik.com/free-vector/people-strike-angry-men-women-with-placards-protest-rally-demonstration_10949846.htm#query=Election%20crowd&position=0&from_view=search I was posted to one of the Eastern states of Nigeria (Imo state) for NYSC and luckily that was the year for the general election, so we were happy that we would make enough money. You know how it's done na!🤪 ***[For the sake of non Nigerians, NYSC is a "must" service for graduates in Nigeria versities. It's done for one year and candidates are being posted (scattered) all over the country). NYSC members are commonly called CORPERS)*** Image source https://www.google.com/amp/s/dailypost.ng/2021/09/27/nigeria-unsafe-allow-nysc-members-serve-in-home-states-afenifere-to-buhari-govt/%3famp=1 The state was among the states that opposed the ruling party(APC) then and they were all United to let the political party they want to win. How United were they? Keep reading. ***[our current president was on seat then and was going for his second tenure]*** As government officers(NYSC), we are not allowed to vote because it's against the mandate, so ours is to coordinate and make sure it's clean and fair. At the initial stage, were happy because we would make money(that has been the Custom of election) and also with the juicy part that, the state is United majorly in one political party,,,this means that issues won't be much. But was that the case? keep reading... Campaign started as as usual, promises here and there and lots of party(gathering) everyday. That time the ruling Governor of the state was stepping down and want his in-law to replace him. Haaa! My Nigeria People know what that man is capable of. Politicians were treating us well as corpers. That period if there's any official function(gathering) in the community, the indigenes would carry us along and make sure we have representatives, we sat with top People in the state and ofcourse money was coming out and we were enjoying. They were days that these people would come and meet us at the Local Government Council when we are having our clearance just to come and be nice to us, they'd offer gifts and free Transport to our various homes. ***[Meanwhile, in all these approaches they were only being kind to us and never opened up to a particular subject of "please do this or that for us". But we knew that those were baits and we were playing smart too.]*** ________________________ **They brought out our names for TWO WEEKS TRAINING.** Image source https://unsplash.com/photos/faEfWCdOKIg The election was fast approaching and everyone of us were called for the training. The training started with those preambles bla bla, telling us the basics of election and how it's being conducted in the country at large. I must saying, it was a tiring process because we were going everyday with our personal money for transport fare and at the end they gave us biscuit and a bottle of Coca-Cola as refreshment, promising us for a pay at the end of the training. At some points we were bothered because our government knows how to promise and forget to keep to the promise. We prefered daily pay but that didn't worked. **THE TRAINING BECAME SCARY.** The training continued to a certain point where they started telling us the reality of elections. The teacher that taught us was so plain that he didn't hide anything at all. He told us basically that conducting an election in dangerous and there's possibility of someone being shot, kidnapped or matchetted. You know na, a lot of us became scared especially the ladies and the next day, some of them back out. Omo! To make money is not easy! We asked him why is it so and why did they choose to pick corpers to conduct the election knowing fully well that election is a war zone. He answered and said that the training they gave to us at the orientation camp of NYSC was to be used in this field 🤣🤣. *(Yes, during the orientation camp(First stage of NYSC, we were taught how to run in a jungle and self defense with soldier skills 🤪🤪).* Image source https://dnbstories.com/2021/06/nysc-corps-members-can-be-mobilized-for-war-dg-says.html We were up to 100Corpers in that local government and almost 20Corpers dropped out after hearing's the examples they gave about corpers that lost their lives during election. I'm a guy that needs money and thank God I hardly get scared of this kinda thing, I go with *"People have done it before and they succeded, so I can do it too".* I stayed and continued with the training with my fellow guys from my street.... ***[Funny enough, the pay we were to get as salary for conducting election was very poor, it was below $30 per election. But this was not what was driving us, it was the hooooge amount money that's coming as compensation from these political parties 🤸🤸🤸].*** ________________________ **TRAINING ENDED AND MONEY SHARING KICKED OFF** The training ended with just limited number of corpers available for the job. I believe a signals was sent to these political gurus in town that they've known the corpers for the job. So they started sending delegates to meet us with their enticing gifts and promises. Now this is the point I'd like to buttress a little. You remember I said the state is thickly United to vote against the ruling party, right? The ruling party came out from their hidding places, organizing massive campaigns that pulled down communities and cities. We were like, is this not that party that these people are not in support? How come they have these masses following them? Fastforward, one day I was in school teaching when I got a call from our corpers liaison officer asking if I'd be available for another meeting with for a political talk, and of course I concurred and he gave me the address. Unbelievably, the address was in an incompleted building, in a bush at the outskirt of the town. I got scary a little bit though but one thing stitched my mind, **"these people can't harm us because they need us".** So I moved straight to there from school. I got there and met other corpers there with just a lady. A brave lady! Yeah, they talked to us on what and what they need from us and what they would offer as the job is successful. After the meeting, they brought out refreshment from the car and gave us a nylon filled with money too...amount I can't mention🤪. None of us ate the food they gave to us because... ofcourse it's not ideal to eat it but thank God the physical money is not edible..maybe we would have thrown away too. Lol🤣🤣 Image source https://www.freepik.com/free-photo/business-concept-handsome-businessman-black-suit-taking-dollars-banknotes-with-stealthy-expression-against-white-background_19320012.htm#query=Take%20money&position=9&from_view=search After that day, another party called also for a meeting and told us what they want us to do for them and for sure with their promising returns once it's successful. ***Why did we attended all these meetings?*** Yeah, we were well oriented with real life experiences, they told us to always avail ourselves whenever they call and nod our heads to their requirements and collect their offers(money) because if we don't, they'd keep disturbing us and might go the Negative way to get our attention. The money? Yeah, we should Collect the money because the money is a national cake. ***To be continued...*** *A lot happened before, during and after the election that I want to share. The war, killings and kidnapping. Watch out!* Special thanks to @MichaelBCH for being my first sponsor. God bless you abundantly and your wallet no go go dry. Amen! Thank you for reading 21st March 2022 .

MY One time Crush got married Hello beautiful souls! I'm too sure you're all good. The weekend has been busy for me even when I should be calculatively grinding here as a new user to meet up some standards but it's well. Yesterday being Saturday I went on a wedding trip, a wedding of a crush. Have you witnessed such wedding? I mean someone you once wooed getting married to another fine man? Lol🤣. You need to see how the brothers of the girl were trolling me yesterday🤪. Although my case was a little bit fair because I didn't make huge moves to get the girl, it was just normal church-friend-chase which she kinda agreed but along the way we just fell out without knowing what even caused it. That was a very long time ago and since then we've been best of friends. But there's another guy in our church also that made massive move about marrying the girl. They dated for a long time with the intention to marry, this guy spent a lot of money in sponsoring the girl in school and all those while I was laughing because I knew there's possibility of breaking up. The guy was well known by the girls family to the extent that they were already calling him their in-law. Just last year someone snatched this girl from him. Omo! I asked to know what happened but till today no reasonable reason was given...to my hearing though. ________________________ About the wedding, I almost missed attending because of my tight schedule but I just paved way for it. I took permission from work place and I was granted....I got home that Friday night looking at my clothes to see the one to be selected for the wedding but they all surprised me. None of them were ironed and the one I could easily iron were not starched, and I'm the type that like dressing fine whenever it's party time. I had to sacrifice the night and take a scary step by starching one of them, with the intention of ironing the clothe the next morning. By the way, there's no way the clothe would dry that night, so I hung it outside for the wind to work on while waiting outside before taking them inside to hang. I was outside till 2:00am that night and I forcefully packed the clothe inside because the mosquitoes draining my blood were excess. I entered inside and slept for just 3hours, which I woke up around 5:00am to take the clothes outside again for another round of breeze to blow the dripping waters away (you know, if you starch a clothe, you don't squeeze it to let the water out, it drains out by itself). Around 7:00am I took the clothes from the rope to iron, there was no electricity so I used my alternative method which is using electricity pressing iron on a burning gas cylinder. Yeah it works perfectly well with no stain but the major issue is time waisting. I wasted up to an hour ironing the clothe because it was still welt. I finished around 8:00am, took my bath, dressed up and moved out for the trip. The journey to my town will take up to an hour and thank God I entered road on time Incase there'd be delay along the way Yes, delay occured. I got to the park and met the standing bus empty, I became the first to enter and few minutes later four persons joined me and that was it, we started waiting people to join us but it was as if the devil operating 🧟. Not up to an hour we saw a crowd of people approaching the park with traveling bags and I knew they were traveling to same place, so they all occupied and we moved. It was inside the bus that I heard that those people were traveling to the next city for matriculation. Yes, the University in my state(DELSU) had her matriculation ceremony yesterday. So I should expect huge traffic jam when I get there and anytime that happens the transport fare would magically go up. So I was ready for the battle ahead. We got there and ofcourse traffic jam was massive but we had our way and stopped at their terminal. Taking the next bus to my town became another battle just as I expected. The charges doubled and that's because of the matriculation ceremony in the university city. I didn't argued much, I just succumbed and we moved. Time was running fast already as the wedding has started and it was just 40mins to round up...yeah, my Church doesn't waist or delay time(no Africa Time). Instead of dropping at my house first before going to the church, I moved to church already for my attendance to be recorded. I got there and it was a nice sight to behold, everywhere was sparkling with beautiful decorations and immediately I entered the church, one of the brothers of the girl bursted into laughter and I know why the laughter, he threw a word to me that "they've taken your wife away". Lol🤣. Fastforward, the Church wedding ended in a short while and it's time for Photograph where everyone came outside. You remember the guy that wanted to marry the girl I mentioned earlier? Yes, he was around too and the brothers were jokingly Banting him with words which I laughed out my ribs🤣🤣. His trolls were something else. We went to the reception ground where the dancing and feeding would be done, and ofcourse we had our stomach filled and but dancing was very far because they hired an indigenous church band that was playing off. Yes, the music was dull that everyone felt it. After that I moved straight to my house to atleast meet my parents before going back. I got home and they all welcomed me and the next I told them was that I want to return that some day but they all begged me to stay. The first question I asked them was hope there's no mosquito around because if I'd be sleeping I'd sleep "endlessly" with no single hitch. They assured me that mosquitoes were very far from the environment and that made me to stay and spend the night there. Yes, I slept like a baby around 9:00pm after we were down watching match in the palour, Bayern trashed Union Berlin 4:0! As the time of writing this, I just woke up and meditating on how to put on my ALL WHITE CLOTHE that has been Stained so bad. I don't have any option because I didn't go with any other clothes. ________________________ About the wedding: One of the brothers to the girl, which is also a very close very asked me if I didn't feel depressed as the girl married another person. Haaa! To be sincere I didn't feel anything at all. I didn't even reasoned it to that level at all. It never occurred to my mind at all, that she left me to marry another person. Noooo! Sorry to say, but ever since then, i didn't see her as beautiful again. Maybe the feelings left with the beauty I used to admire her with lol🤣. ***HOLD ON FIRST, WHY MUST LADIES RUIN THEIR FACE WITH HEAVY MAKEUP and becoming ugly on their wedding day❔❔❔*** Thank you reading. 20th March 2022

Family Meeting On Marriage Matter Hey People! How are you doing? Hope you're good? The weekend went well for me but I was occupied and hard little chances to visit and read articles here. Today I learnt something surprising and I would like to share. First of all? Do your parents have a say when it comes to marriage in your home/family? I mean, do you basically seek for your parents approval Before bringing in that your heartrob to the House? I know your answer is Yes. Oh! I know some part of the world that don't operate in this line. In this part of the world, majority of homes, regions and states still believe that an approval from the parents is a must before going ahead for marriage. I won't elaborate more on this because a lot of people have written more on this subject of marriage blessings from parents and approval. Tonight, I was chatting with my friend when he mentioned about him telling his dad about his fiance so the relationship would be "semi-official". I supported him for such move but was shocked when he said his dad is still skeptical about supporting his son to further with the lady. Why? Because the girl is still schooling and she's from another state. He was so bittered because He's so much in love with this girl. The girl he has Concluded to be his final bustop. Knowing fully well how learned the dad his, I objected and told him that I don't see his dad saying such thing because he's Learned and advanced, this is a modern age that a lot of these considerations should be trashed out when selecting a girl for marriage. I tried to pinpoint some certain things that should be overloked. He explained it well to me that his dad is not totally against it, because he said he'd get back to him and also, this was because they have laid down rules for marriage in their family which all the sons and daughters must follow. Lead image source https://unsplash.com/photos/6awfTPLGaCE The First among the regulations is that; ***The lady that any of the sons is marrying must have completed a certain stage of education. It's either at that level or higher and nothing below is allowed (Minimum of HND or BSC and nothing like OND or NSCE... Nigerians would relate here).*** I got shocked after hearing this, that means their family is not ready to settle for a low quality. I'm not judging them or going against the rule they have for their family, but it's somehow not please within me. So this means that if LOVE is in view, the love should better run a thorough check before manifesting. Lol The problem now is that, the lady my friend want to marry is currently schooling and at the very lowest Level which would take more four years to complete. He explained to his dad about the duration of the departmental schooling duration and the dad replied him that "he knows what to do, an also he'd get back to him this coming Monday". That's to say, the son should go and check their law book and see the truth himself. That's the issue my friend is facing now. The only alternatives left for him and a standing ground is either he waits for the girl to finish schooling before proceeding to marriage or marry her while he promises the family that the girl will complete her education to the final stage of NYSC, otherwise he has failed the family and has broken the law all of them agreed on. ****My take on this**** To be sincere I'm not in support of this so called law or agreement. I find it odd to be practiced in this modern Life where freedom to fullness of life is existing. So it means that they can't marry someone that's well doing in business but didn't go to school to the level they want. In my country currently, education is not a gaurantee to a successful life, you can acquire all the certificate and still struggle for survival. Infact, the school system is currently begging students to get a skill outside school before graduating. A lot of people don't find interest in school anymore because its aftermath is not something to talk about with regards to chances of being employed. I know they implemented those laws in order not to be seen as uneducated People, in order not to harbour illiteracy in the family. I know school helps to broaden and brighten up someone but...🤷 They have other regulations such as conditions attached to marrying from another states (same country but different state). Also they have a big **NO** to marrying of out the country. All these won't work for me because the way it's doing me eh, I can marry from any part of the world as long as I find peace. Even here, if I see someone that goes with my heart, why should I delay? We will marry straight away and you all gonna be in attendance. Lol🤣🤣. Thanks for reading. 18th March 2022

My Debut: Nice to be here Hello beautiful people!🥰 I bring good tidings from my hood, hope you're all doing good? By the way weekend is around the corner and there's a popular saying in my region that goes "we know how the weekend is gonna be on Thursday". You get it, right? That's to say, if the weekend is going to be cruisy you get to start seeing the signals from Thursday. Well, I'm smelling bunch of loaded activities waiting for me this weekend and it's not going to be fair for me🤦. I guess it's better I run an introductory lines first before feeling like I own the house. Yeah, it's good to be humble and not trying to expose my person at a stretch 🧘. **What's My name?** My name is KIINGSLEYY, with the double 'i' & 'y'. Oh! I wanted to appear with the official spelling but I found out that there are already existing Kingsleys here. Come to think of it, I don't think there's any place you'd go and don't see anybody with the name Kingsley, yes you can't. We are just everywhere with our calm and innocent nature. Special salute to all the existing kingsleys here, I'm totally humble. Where are the ladies! Try to pronounce the name "Kingsley" and see how sweet the phonetic is. Awwwwn lovely 🥰. **From where?** I'm from the Western part of Africa, the country I've come to love so much despite the shortcomings over here. The nation that trends with jokes and cruise even in the midst of tough issues. Wondering which country is it? It's Nigeria! I hail from the south where we use crude oil to soak garri 🤪(we have excess Crude oil) and one of our main cities is called **the Oil city**. That's Warri- Delta State. **Which religion?** I'm a Christian and that doesn't mean I criticize other religions. I've stayed and mingle with lots of Muslims and till today we are still cool. I'm regular when it comes to attending church because that's only place I visit when it comes to socializing aside work place. Wait, isn't church supposed to be social ground as well? I don't know how people view it but that's the place I see as home and socialize with people. Also, I should be in the choir department because I know how to beat drum but being a chorister is too demanding for me. So I prefer to be with the one that suits me. **Writing Genre** Thank God for such platform like this that allows us to write anything at all so long it's not violating the rules. Unlike other platforms that permits only some certain genre. If I were to be selective on Genre to stay with here, you won't see me on this tough and educative blogs, especially the crypto related. I must say, you guys are really superb by Bringing up those elaborative pieces. I WRITE MORE OF EXPERIENCES and you'll surely enjoy this part of me as we bond together. Image source https://www.freepik.com/free-vector/writing-letter-concept-illustration_11683082.htm#query=Writing&position=4&from_view=search **My kinda sport** Because I'm a guy I should like football? Yes! As a guy what would you like if you don't like football?? Lol🤣...Jusk kidding. I'm a lover of football and a different one. How do I mean? It's not an addict to me like they way other people go about it. I know people that once their team looses, they won't eat that day. Wtf! I remember when my pastor told me that Arsenal fans are good in long term relationship....because they loose alot and they're still there, ummovable. The only tournaments I fancy most are the one that has to do with country/nation. E.g, world cup, Nations cup and Olympics. Anything aside these is a workover for me. Do you know that Qatar2022 is around the corner? You should get ready. I do watch leagues matches too but not on a compulsory note and anytime I'm doing that, I love supporting the lesser teams to beat down the higher teams, and that gives me joy because anytime the "almighty" teams are down, the Twitter is just the right place to visit and get does of laughter. Pardon me, I didn't call name of club 🤣. Image source https://www.freepik.com/free-photo/two-football-fans-living-room_2311298.htm#query=Watching%20football&position=35&from_view=search **My kinda food** This place is a big world on it's own and a lot of countries here have their different delecacies. But that wouldn't prevent me from mentioning my type of food. Let me tell you, I was brought up in the rural area and you know the kind of food that's common there. We deal more with locally made foods and not the foreign, processed, canned foods. The kinda food I love eating is the swallow(more like an African food). I love it because it stays longer in the stomach, energizes the body more to be able to withstand the task for the day. The kind of work we did way back, you can't take tea in the morning as breakfast, it'd disappear within minutes🤣🤣. That doesn't mean I don't like these modern foods though. **One experience;** *We were working at the farm(bush) with my friends when we heard a buzzing sound of bees. We thought it was a sound of bees passing by but little did we know that we were close to the parlor of the bees🧟. We continued and suddenly one bee stung my friend and he killed it immediately. One dangerous feature of bees is that once one is killed, the others get an instant signal for WAR.* Image source https://unsplash.com/photos/Mkk_9x42Sbg *All these while we didn't know that the bee hive was just inches away from us,,,you need to see the way they rushed us, with honey dripping everywhere...* ***...to be continued.*** Happy birthday to this broda @King_Gozie Wishing you long life and unlimited prosperity🎉🎉🎉🎉 Lead image from source https://www.freepik.com/free-photo/close-up-portrait-friendly-attractive-asian-man-waving-say-hi-informal-greeting-gesture-laughing-smiling-as-welcoming-new-members-join-team_20765384.htm#query=New%20member&position=13&from_view=search NICE TO MEET YOU GUYS 17th March 2022 .
