BUTTERFLIES I was listening to random Spotify playlists when I came across the song "I guess I'm in love". When Clinton Kane sings, "And why do I get so nervous when I look into your eyes? Butterflies can't stop me falling for you." Made me realize that you shouldn't fall for someone just because he or she gives you "butterflies". Don't get me wrong, I love that song. But, if your heart leaps out of your chest and you feel nervous, uncomfortable, and unsafe when he or she is around, this is a bad sign. It's your body's way of telling you to leave. You should be with someone who makes you feel safe, who doesn't make you nervous, and who doesn't make you feel like you're hanging on their every word, wondering if they'll like you. You can be your truest self around them and they will still love you for it, I think that is the person you should be with. 💛
