In our lifetimes, we are likely to be infatuated with three different people. First love is often a young love affair. It's inevitable that you'll drift apart and call it quits over trivial matters. When you get older, you may realize that it wasn't love. But in reality, it was. It was love as you knew it. And then there's our second love, the difficult one. In this one, you get hurt. This love teaches us lessons and strengthens us. This love comes with a lot of pain, lies, betrayal, abuse, drama, and damage. But this is the one in which we mature. We discover what we like about love and what we don't like about it. We now understand the distinction between good and bad partners. Now, we're more guarded, cautious, considerate and we're more closed off to the world than before. We now know precisely what we want and do not want. Then there's our third love, which sneaks up on you without warning. This love finds you rather than the other way around. You can build whatever wall you want, but it will be demolished. Without even trying, you'll find yourself caring about the person. They don't look like your typical crush types, but you find yourself getting lost in their eyes on a daily basis. Their flaws are appealing to you. You don't have anything to hide from them. You want to marry and have children with them, you thank the universe for them, and you genuinely love them. Just a random thought before I fell asleep last night. 💛 Good morning, Loves. Ughh! My head hurts so bad. 🥴 #RandomThoughts
