Got these fingering weight yarns as a gift! I think the colors are perfect for fall. I’m planning to make an autumn shawl out of them. What do you think could be the best sequence of colors to arrange them if I’m doing 3 stripes? Right now, I’ve decided to put the green in center. What do you all think?

Good luck with the planned shawl. Red, green, purple would be nice.

  Will definitely take that into account! That’s another vote to putting the green in the middle. I might just go with that. Hopefully I can share the work in progress soon! I have too many going on at the same time right now lol!

    The red and purple yarns are closer in shade so putting the green in between gives a nice contrast.

      Yes, my thoughts exactly! I wanted to include like a mustard yellow color of yarn too, just to brighten things up a little. I’ll see how that goes.
