Skewers of Innards One of my friends in post graduate school has never tasted street food innards in skewers before. Since I liked them, I wanted him to give them a try as well. We went to one of the stalls outside our university after class and I made him try grilled pig and chicken intestines (generally “isaw”), and grilled coagulated chicken blood (“betamax”). I expected him to like them as much as I did but boy, was I wrong. Lol! He didn’t like any of them and said he would just stick with the pork barbecue and the avocado shake. I guess eating innards takes some getting used to. Do you like eating them? Aw sayang naman di nya nagustuhan. Paborito ko yang betamax at isaw mapa manok man o baboy. Pero limited lang kain ko kasi medyo parusa din sila sa liver.
Kaya nga eh, di niya na-typan. I guess it’s an acquired taste kahit papano sis. Pero medyo kakaiba rin siya kasi ayaw niya ng taste at amoy ng vinegar. Ahaha! Dun pa lang dapat di na ako masyado nag-expect. Ahaha!
