Monday Sunrise Surprise Today, I got to our apartment quite early enough to watch the sunrise. I was quite surprised when I looked out the window because to me, this sunrise almost looks like a sunset. Lol! Usually, sunrises for me are brighter, and have a softer, lighter tone of yellow. You could also barely pick out the circular shape of the sun because of the bright rays, but this time, the sun is quite sharply delineated. I’ve seen sunrises like this before, but only pretty rarely. This is probably just about the third time. It’s captivating, but at the same time it doesn’t give off that much surge of energy to me. I’m not complaining, though! This change is welcome once in a while. It reminds me to take life slowly and enjoy the little things.
