It's amazing how #Splinterlands keeps raising the bar for earning part and yet the new players keep joining. Since the start of new season I've spent about 5-6 hours trying to battle my way up to silver to open the DQ chests, but seems like wasted it all because now the CP rentals have finished too. Gotta it anothe try on the weekend maybe. Good chance to take a break

Interesting day. Woke up to the massive sell off. Had mixed feelings because I had some juicy buy orders triggered but also a big chunk of $WAX that I've been holding for few days and didn't sell at 60 cents. Anyway did some of my daily Crypto games and left for the birthday party at my brother's place. Great food and ok cake ๐ but most importantly the family reunion with the kids was awesome

#BeastGarden is evolving almost weekly. The latest addition is Leaderboard and "My last battle" where difficulty, total and individual damages, bonuses are shown. So I want to share my best (highest difficulty) battle until now: Took the risk of Zektirs' 15% chance of missing their attack. Luckily odds were on my side. In #Splinterlands I just realized that they rearranged the starter deck (Summorer's Spellbook) completely. I noticed I couldn't find some usual starter cards in some battles because I thought it's just some random battle rule. Also my assumption was because I put low CP/dec rate for renting in, all the random new cards I was able to use were rented to me LOL. I just noticed this is the second week in a row when at Friday night I'm feeling like I'm burnt out. I can't accept it as result of #work week because that'd be ridiculous to be this tired just from a standard work schedule. My guess is the accumulated lack of sleep on weekdays plus the dramatic end of the last work day where a meeting that was supposed to be 1 hour lasted 3 hours little beyond working hours
I bought an #NFT for 200 wax in another #wax game that's still in alpha. It's producing 3-5 wood, medium chances of oak and very low chance of pine every 460 seconds. #EBIDS is (planning to be) an RTS game with mostly blockchain assets as NFTs. Mostly, not fully because the low level bulk common items aren't on chain making it less resource (CPU) consuming, thus easier to play for everyone (compare AW). This game has potential IMO. It currently has only about ~250 activeโฆ

The most recent update is so exciting: WEEKLY LEADERBOARD: Every week the top 10 players with highest difficulty wins are getting prizes. In the image below I had it set to 372%. #Ebids game is growing at an amazing speed. Still in alpha though and any investment may be lost, be be aware of that before investing. BUT, the game is aiming to always a free-2-play too. That just means lots of grinding. Anyway, I got nice rewards from today's chest (remember these rewards are also temporary). #BeastGarden game is one of the very few games that I believe will survive 2022 if there're 3-4 such games out of hundreds. The weekly leaderboard mechanism is an amazing tool they've implemented recently. So apart from regular beasts there are some that will be only given to players as rewards for top 10 in weekly leaderboard. One of them is Molcore. But the catch is to get to top 10 you basically throw away your perfect win chance of a battle and gamble with 1-2% winโฆ
This #Splinterlands season was tough for me! I don't know the new cards and can't adjust my strategy. So when I tried to raise to Silver few times I couldn't and gave up :D Finally last two (2) nights I decided to give a bit more attention haha and climbed to Silver-3 to open 2 DQ chests with quest potions. Got 2 nice cards out of 14. Now I have one last quest potion left :)
Update to #Ebids game marketplace (only)! The game hasn't had or planning to have a large scale sale/drop. Instead they've configured it so that only organic growth is supported. For example with every next 30 new (and active) players 1 plot of total 900 land plots is released as a pack sale where you can choose the rarity of the pack/land (until that rarity runs out). The perk of buying a land pack, besides the obvious resource income from taxes that every 30 players thatโฆ
