The BCH community is often not money hungry enough this lead to situations where when money can be made the gap in the market gets filled up by outsiders who most likely will take their new capital and move it outside of the BCH community. A good example is the current smartBCH sidechain. When it was launched, nobody in the BCH community was ready with a DEX even though at least 4 seperate teams are working on one. Even though I tried to rally people so hard to have something ready on launch day, even if not perfect. Why? Because all these teams want to do it proper. Want to build something good, sustainable, that will last and prosper the entire community. And so being first is not important to them. Doing it right from the beginning is. But this creates a vacuum. On smartBCH this was filled in by benswap run by the benswap dev (most likely the same account on telegram as somebody called Bruce Lee). But who is the benswap dev? Nobody knows. Is the from the Bitcoin Cash community? No he is not, he has so far only build stuff on Binance Smart Chain. The benswap dev now has his hands on more then a 1000 BCH. Will this capital stay in the BCH community or eventually be sold for BTC when the bear market starts again? Nobody knows, but there is a very good change that 1000 BCH will eventually be taken away from smartBCH and sold for BTC because when a bear market starts, then BTC is the safe heaven. Now a member of the BCH community would never do this. This vacuum is one of the reasons why I created my sBUSD stablecoin. They could have easily gotten hold of 20K worth of capital ... and possible steal it and move it outside of the BCH community. One our objectives should always be to make sure the BCH community has their hands on as much capital as possible as this is needed to properly kick start the first engine that will hopefully one day start the bigger adoption engine, that hopefully eventually will be able to keep itself running and do more and more RPM. We need to become more street smart and realize that in certain situation, one of our trusted community members should be the ones to launch something first. As that fills up the vacuum and lowers the risk that outsides exploit those moment where money can be made. What is the point of SmartBCH attracting capital from OUTSIDE the bch community if another outsider eventually runs away with it and then dumps it for something else? We do the work and somebody else profits and there is no extra capital for funding our dev teams or helping with adoption. We need to become more street smart and money hungry, not for personal gains but for the greater good of the community.

On Binance today it hit 392 dollars per BCHA or 0.000392 usd per XEC Although it's very possible that long term the price of BCHA/XEC might keep going up, after the insane 400% rally of the last week, there is a good chance that it might dump back down. So now is an excellent time to split your BCH and sell your BCHA/XEC Here is how to do it with as little as risk possible. If you don't care about risk you can skip a lot of steps and do everything on a online computer but there is a risk this will leak your BCH priv key. It's up to you. You are going to need: A offline computer, preferably one that can never connect to the internet anymore for the rest of it's live otherwise disconnect it temporality and we will work on memory without saving anything to disk. A online computer/laptop Let's get started! First we want to download Electrum ABC https://github.com/bitcoin-abc/ElectrumABC/releases/ *If you are dealing with too much money to lose, it would be a good idea to verify the signatures of Electrum ABC and the hash of the download before you trust it with any private keys but that's outside the scope of this tutorial.* Step 1 : creating a new BCHA/XEC wallet Let's open the software on **our online system**! And let's give name our wallet. Step 2: Creating a watch wallet for our BCH addresses with BCHA/XEC on it. The second thing we are going to do is create a watch wallet and to do so we need to find the BCHA/XEC address where our BCHA/XEC is. I have a BCH address that might have some BCHA/XEC on it. The address is **qrhr0h8hq35jtgjyamlaphupwctde8288522h7w8kj** but that won't work on the BCHA explorer, so we first need to find our legacy address. We are going to use blockchair for this. Let's to go blockchair and look up our address. https://blockchair.com/ Ah there is the legacy address format, it's **1Niak6WPi1NDYquYGBc6TYVerheyEGeXM7** now let's go to https://explorer.bitcoinabc.org/ and copy paste it in. Looks like we have a 457,789.51 XEC and if you want to know how much BCHA this is you will have to divide by 1 million. So I have 0.45778951 BCHA! Now that we have our legacy address and we know there is a balance waiting for us let's make the watch wallet on our online system. We have now created a watch wallet. If there is BCHA/XEC on our BCH addresses it should show up. Step 3: Making a unsigned tx from our watch wallet to our new wallet. Now let's open both wallet next to each other. It looks like this Let's copy over an address from the left to the right The reason we are doing it like this, is so we can first check if none of the BCH will move with it when we make the tx. If that would happen, it's not a problem because it just gets send to our own wallet. We would simply open our wallet file in Electron Cash and have full access to the BCH again. But since the BCH blocks are a lot further in height then the BCHA blocks and since Electron Cash uses nlocktimes in it's tx, this is very unlikely to happen. There is an almost zero chance for a replay. Now let's click MAX and save the tx. **EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, UP THE FEE TO 9 XEC OR IT WILL NOT WORK AND WE WILL END UP WITH A TX UNDER 1/SAT BYTE THAT THE MEMPOOLS WILL REFUSE TO ACCEPT.** Because we don't have the private keys of the watch wallet, we only get a preview button. Let's click on it. This is the tx we want to save to our usb stick so we can move it over to the cold system. Step 4: Extracting our BCH private keys in the safest way. Now it's time to work on our offline computer. There are two things we need to get on to the offline computer Electrum ABC wallet https://github.com/bitcoin-abc/ElectrumABC/releases/ Electron Cash wallet files or a seed or private keys Let's copy all the Electrum ABC wallet software to a usb drive Now let's open up our offline computer, I use Linux Mint so I am going to be running ElectrumABC-5.0.1-x86_64.AppImage If you have a seed on a piece of paper, or perhaps you want to extract the seed from your Bitcoin.com wallet here is where we import it. If you are importing from the Bitcoin.com wallet you can click next but then when you see the derivation path you need to change it to m/44'/0'/0' You might also just have a single private key, or you might have an Electron Cash wallet file on your online computer then you can put on the thumb drive to export to the cold system. There you can either open it direcly with Electrum or if it's an SLP wallet you can open it with Electron Cash SLP and then extract the private key from there, copy in to a text document and then from the text document in to Electrum ABC This is what you will see next. If you see a green button instead of a red your system is connected to the internet. Shame on you, you followed the guide wrong and your coins are at risk. Putting a priv key in your systems copy paste buffer on a online machine exposes it to almost every single program on your computer including your browser, if you have a virus you will instantly lose all your coins. Step 5: Signing the unsigned tx we have on our usb stick. Now let's sign it and then save it, you should now see this Let's save it Now we have what we came for, a signed tx on our usb stick. It's time to savely remove the usb stick and connect it to the online computer. Step 6: Broadcasting the signed tx Let's open the new wallet we made in step 1 Now we are going to yet again, load a tx from file Now let's broadcast. **Succes!! Now we have our XEC in our own wallet and from there we can send to coinex or any exchange we like and sell it for BCH.** Don't have a coinex account? Kain_niaK his band Every friday night is jam night for me and Nattacia and Don. I improvise something on piano, then Don gives me rytm on his drums and then Nattacia comes up with the vocals. I have been working hard on the beginning of turning central-alberta in to a BCH stronghold. The first step has been to start two educational centra. Check https://calgarycrypto.ca and https://reddeer.cash. Zoom classes have started. There is a free zoom class in English every tuesday at 18:30 MDT and a Dutch one every Saturday at 18 PM. We have signed up two merchants. A car dealer and a travel agency. I have a small team working under me now. A web developer from Venezuela (found through https://venezuelaworkers.com/) and a graphics girl (also found through https://venezuelaworkers.com/). Soon (depending on a successful flipstarter) our team will be joined by an SLP dev (who will also help with SLP2.0 and SmartBCH) Right now my expenses are 600 CAD a month, and I hope to do a flipstarter soon to raise 60 BCH for a 2 year run time. (30 BCH for the learning centra and 30 BCH to be able to hire a SLP dev who will help hybrix connect better to the BCH trading ecosystem) In those two years I plan to make everything self sustainable. Even though my educational center in Red Deer will always be free (focussed towards the brightest african minds, thousands of african refugees and immigrants flow through our red deer hub every year) the one in Calgary will generate revenue because people will have to pay for classes. And if the upper middle class in Calgary wants to learn how to trade and be in full crypto control, they will have to pay me some good money up front which will be used to finance everything. We are blockchain agnostic and deal and help with any crypto although our base layer will always be BCH, if people want to use other crypto they can, but we will make some money of them through affiliate programs like sideshift.ai. And manage a small crypto fund that can also leverage itself up once in a while through some smart trading. Today somebody that worked for TD (Toronto Dominion) came buy, they wanted to learn how to do n to m transactions so they can help their customers with controlling their own crypto while still being able to offer extra non custodial security. Central Alberta has some hard times coming to it, and BCH will become an important tool for the people here to survive those hard days to come. The best music of my twitch stream https://youtu.be/gxrAmkb8uiU Hey everybody on read.cash, I have been streaming for 2 years now with lost of things go right and lots of things go wrong! My sound has now reached that point where I am like: Yeah man, I got something. People are going to really like this. On twitch you see lots of DJ's (that just mainly press play and jump up and down like they made it) en also lots of people that play piano or sing or just play one instrument. But I have never seen anybody like me, other then of course the great Loopdaddy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vBwRfQbXkg I improvise Electronic Dance music around what people talk about in my twitch chat. There is a guy, well known in the BCH community, called Soupernerd and he is really good and coming up with lyrics. And then I try to turn it in to music. I am using a Nektar Impact LX88+ midi controller + FL Studio + a Boss RC 505 hardware looper. Using these three machines gives me the ability to keep on making music without ever having to stop. In the future I will have a live drummer because so far I am just triggering premade drumloop out of Stylus RMX. I also sometimes program in pre made chords so I can play a whole chord by pressing just one key on my keyboard. But by far most of the music on my stream is just invented on the spot just like Tether! There is still much to learn but I think I already have something very entertaining going. I am going to network thousands of musicians around me, and they will all promote Bitcoin Cash as well. I just started the Bitcoin Cash Learning Center in my local town. (Red Deer, Alberta, Canada) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhTEkUMyfTY Today, the street view of a small city (100 000 people) changed a bit. I am assuming that by now most people in Red Deer have heard about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. But it still remains something that is distant for most people. In my city today that changes. Now when people walk in the main street of Red Deer they will see a little sign. This let's people know that this distant thing is now coming closer and might soon also have some kind of influence on their life. https://i.imgur.com/dzueihW.jpg The main purpose of my center is education. I will be working together with the owner of a travel agency and sharing a office with him. When his customers want to pay with crypto, I will be his financial guy for that. As soon as COVID is over, we will start organizing free classes that are open to anybody, but with a specific focus towards refugees and immigrants. Red Deer is a place where hundreds of different cultures from all over the world meet in one city. Filipinos, people from South-Sudan, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, many spanish and portuguese speaking people from South-America, lots of people from Ukraine and the balkan countries. We play soccer together, we go to church together, we make music together. Almost all of these people have loved ones and family in their origin countries. Many of them support the people they left behind financially. Bitcoin Cash is going become a tool for that, that will make their life a little easier and will make all of them a little richer as they will be able to bypass local corruption and financial gatekeepers. Saving money on overheads costs and middleman. I will give these people the minimum of information they need to make the right kind of choices and decisions without overloading them with hard to understand knowledge. So right now it's going to be almost 100% focussed towards training people up how to work with the Bitcoin.com wallet on phones and Electron Cash on computer and laptops. I will teach people a 3 layer system. On your phone you only keep a maximum of 1 week worth of wages and you have a backup seed on a piece of paper. On your online computer you only keep a maximum of 1 month worth of wages and you have a backup on a piece of paper and an encrypted wallet on a thumb drive on a second location. On you offline computer you have no limits but you have 3 backups at 3 different locations and you written down seed goes in a small safe. Next to training up people for free, I will always look for talent. Those people that I see really get it will be trained up to also become educators in the hope that one day they will go back to their origin countries and start training up people there as well. This is also going to give me access to an almost endless supply of tutorial videos and how to's that will be all made available under a Creative Common License. And finally to finance all of this (the center will be non profit) I will be using my own money, I might do a flipstarter once in a while and I will start a second business once I have my brokerage license to attract Canadian dollars from investors who would want me to buy and sell and trade for them.
