Sharing with you a letter composed by my nephew. Actually, my tear drops as I read this letter to the frontliners. If you are a frontliner or you know someone who is a frontliner you can send this letter to them❤ To all heroes without capes, Allow me to express how much I am thankful for all your services to our country. I know that its not enough, but as a grade 7 student, that's the only thing that I can do for now. In the darkest time of the world, when pandemic hits drastically over mankind, no one dared to face corona virus except you. While everyone was busy panic buying for food, medicines, alcohol, then you were struggling how can you go to work when all public utility vehicles were not allowed to transport passengers including you, frontliners. I know you're tired, you sigh, you cry and misses your loved one's and when you die, that'sthe only time that your presence and dedications are valued. You've been in the most difficult part of your life and career were everyone except youself and family is your priority. Imagine how sad and painful to think of that. But you still managed to do it. Your service makes a big part of the global workforce, were we can appreciate the importance of the frontliners. It takes courage, hardwork, selfless dedication to fulfill your duty. Wearing such tight layered facemask and uncomfortable PPE's everyday is already a struggle how much more if you get infected, suffered and die? You've been fighting for longest hours on your duty and stressful nights when everyone is sleeping, you were there to watch over us. You cannot even enjoy your meal every shift because of the long queue's waving. You cannot even enjoy your rest days because of what you believe "the call of duty". You sacrifice your family time just to serve the people. Rain or shine you're at the border checkpoints, Christmas and New Year you're at the emergency room, Valentines and other holidays, even special occasions like birthdays, you're busy taking emergency calls, your busy assisting others while buying their needs, but you cant even buy things for your own family, whatever the weather, occasion, situation you're always at your service. We know you're tired but you opted not to give up, you did not quit. You carry the burden of the virus that no one ever know when it will end, that everyone is praying for the cure to stop the virus. You have no choice but to continue and keep fighting without having assurance that you will win. We salute you for your strong will, courage and selfless dedication to help others and keep us safe. To the unsung heroes of modern world, though you are not wearing capes, because of you I realized that superheroes are not only for those who have special powers and abilities, like ability to fly, to run fast, to be invisible but for me the most important ability that you frontliners possesses is the ability to care for others, ability to sacrifice life to save stranger just to fulfill your obligations. And that is the most important lesson that I've learned from you, that everyone can be a hero. You are the source of our hope. Always remember, we are at your back standing together as we fight against corona virus as one. Please know that you are appreciated, we are praying for your good health and safety, you are unbeatable, your service is priceless. May God take care of you everyday and showers you with blessing that you deserve. Big thank you! From a grateful frontliner's son, Miggy
