It saddens me every time I am reminded of the fact that our pets have shorter lives than us. We'll spend a few years with them, around 15 years at the most maybe, and then suddenly they're gone. You grew up with them, had memories with them and then they're gone. And because their stay with us is quick, it's best to give them a life that they will love. Because if you think about it, their whole life all they have is us. All they know is us. And we should give them all the love they deserve, in exchange for their genuine love for us. ♥️
