Shadows in, and out. Poem by Julsijuls These strange eyes peek within my being, searching, squinting; these strange eyes failed, for they see nothing, amidst the shadows in me. For what I am is too dark— lacking of light too thick, too stained. The eyes see nothing, but the paint of night, of evil and nought, within my very being. And so they move away; going on their days shifting shapes— back to being humans; the ones across the street, on front door pavements, the shadowy ones ...similar to me.
