@Julsijuls more from that month

Telescope By Julsijuls You piled up books by the window for you know I go there always. Sitting with my forehead against the glass— eyes trained on nothing, my thoughts just drifting in space. You could almost see it; tiny leaves or petals above my head you know they're my thoughts, just floating there, as I just exist there, thinking of those and that. Then the next day, when the sun finally rose; You gifted me something, a thing that could make me see further, so I can see more stars and worlds. So when I sit by that window, I don't just stare at nothing anymore. I use the telescope you gave and traveled past this world past the stars and the shadows. I learned to travel, just by sitting by the window. Image from https://pin.it/1tKqcsf #poetry #originalcontent
